I've heard so many awesome things about the Halo 3 Believe video and I Cant wait to share my reaction and thoughts with all of you and let me know what you thought of Halo 3 Believe in the comments down below.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a compilation of first-person shooter video games in the Halo series, originally released in November 2014 for the Xbox One, and later on Microsoft Windows through 2019 and 2020. The enhanced version was released for the Xbox Series X|S in November 2020
Believe is a Microsoft marketing campaign for Halo 3 produced by New Deal Studios. It features the word "Believe" as a tagline, and appears to be honouring the legacy of John-117, citing him as a hero of the United Nations Space Command whose brave actions inspired other servicemen during the Human-Covenant war.

on the last trailer I was in an airport at my gate waiting for a late night flight when this trailer started playing on one of the TV’s. To set the setting there were probably 12 other people with me at the gate plus the staff. I remember them chatting it was the only noises I could hear in the airport at the time other than the TV, when this trailer started playing I was allured by its uniqueness and not to mention raindrops was playing. By the time the commercial was done playing I realised that everyone with me at the time stoped talking and the airport was silent also I heard it playing at other gates and there was silence there too. Watching that trailer gave me goosebumps, probably one of the greatest gaming/ any commercial made in history still gives me goosebumps and chills to this day and watching you react to it made it even better thank you for the video and have a good day

I'm so glad you went back and watched this! 😊 The Believe Campaign is my favorite promotional campaign from any Halo game. Everything was so real and palpable, and I loved how they brought real actors in to portray the soldiers that took part in the Human-Covenant War. It just makes everything so much more touching and emotional. So much work as put into promoting this game. Also, the fact that Bungie lead us to believe the Master Chief died had everyone on the edge of their seats waiting to play Halo 3! Such an amazing promo! Thanks for going back and reacting to this, Jade! And as always, great vid! 👍

You should know that parts of that diorama still exist but in pieces. One section is still with Bungie, another with 343 and another at Microsoft I believe

It would be a shame if they ever got rid of that. Not only was it a labor of love but it represent a peak in gaming history. Halo meant so much to so many people. Every friend i still have today i met years ago playing Halo for countless hours.

If you missed the halo era im sorry. It truly was the peak of video gaming. The peak of x box live the peak of chat lobbies. The peak of completed masterpieces like halo. The peak of marketing with love and care for the game and gamers. It was a special time. To everyone I shared a game with a lobby with, thank you. I hope you are all doing amazing In life. Played the all the Halos, only owned 1 & 2 tho. I remember watching this when it came on TV, just the bit with the figurines. It was so moving, so cool; my brother watched it with me. Halo was mine from middle school all the way till college & even after I had to drop out. I guess I can't help but be a Halo fan. It has it's issues, but if you ask me if at least the original Bungie collection, Halo 1 - 3 & ODST, & Reach, are any good, I have only one word for you. BELIEVE.

I love the footage of the actual creation of the diorama and that the Covenant war veterans are so believable. Like they were actually seeing spikers and plasma cannons etc being fired at them.

I think this campaign really gets to the heart of what Halo is about as a story. It's a story of finding yourself in a hopeless, unwinnable situation. And yet despite what seems like inevitable defeating choosing to fight anyway. And a better day coming of it. We all have our own difficult periods of life when things seem hopeless, I think. And yet if we can keep fighting maybe we'll be surprised with how good the outcome could be. I find that a very inspiring message.

I'll be that debbie downer and point out something here. The guy at 5:50, Sgt. Navarro? He wasn't at the Battle for Earth. Look at his service dates. He joined the military in 2555, three years AFTER the Covenant left Earth through the Portal.

I'd make a guess and say there were probably a lot of fringe elements of the Covenant left behind after the war? They did invade with probably a billion+ troops, so leftovers would most likely be hiding in jungles and the like and focusing on gurellia warfare.

The reason why the veterans act like the Master Chief is dead is because the original ending of Halo 3 was going to have Master Chief die. Bungie Studios changed the ending a bit late in production and I'm guessing these trailers were made before the original ending was changed.also I am almost certain that at 11:00 it is supposed to be the ghost of Master Chief taking control of his figurine.

This trailer is also set about 50 years after the ending of Halo 3, so by that time Master Chief may have already passed away due to natural causes or old age or whatever.

This was the reason i got into 3D printing my own CAD designs as a hobby. The tech was expensive and primitive at that time. Now 3D printers for entry level are negligible when compared to the price of any consumer electronic. Many or most pieces are 3D printed (Armor, Weapons, Vehicles, demolished buildings and debris) not sure about the faces. The terrain and larger curved vehicles are blocks of foam machine CNC cut.

Halo is the greatest game franchise what humanity ever developed. Everytime I watch this ads, I immediatly start to cry because it touches me directly to heart and it made my whole childhood. Thanks Bungie and the voice of 117 - Steve Downey.

The Master Chief described in these promos never matched Master Chief elsewhere, which is a big shame. He's pretty awesome in the games, but he isn't inspiring, charismatic, or a leader to others. In fact, he's mostly alone in these games. It's like everyone in Believe is describing a different character. Maybe that was intentional, but I prefer the Master Chief in these veterans' memories

Almost all human life on Earth was destroyed too, they got very lucky. There are plenty of surviving planets in the outer-outer colonies though, as they were out of the way the Covies never found them.
