With everything that's going on in the world these days, I am absolutely convinced that we were the coolest generation ever. I remember all of these great songs in my 20's. Wish I could go back sometimes just to get away from the crazy times we are faced with today. Heart was and always will be in the top ten favorites of mine.
I remember the day I first heard this song over the radio. It was in 1986. I was in 7th grade and just got out of school when it came on the radio. I just had to get that cassette. It was so good. Was my first introduction to the Wilson sisters. I've been a huge fan ever since.

Heart are amazing and I feel so unbelievable under-rated. I adore them and are both gorgeous with amazing voices - Ann and Nancy Wilson; Nancy being the amazing guitarist. These Dreams is my favourite; Nancy on lead vocals.
As a young, oblivious teenage dude, I had absolutely no idea that chicks could rock like this (and had been doing so for decades before I came along). Heart was my gateway drug to loving female rockers.

Nancy was an EXTREMELY under-rated acoustic guitar player. Listen to "Dogs and Butterfly". And Nancy could have been a professional model, my God she was beautiful!!
This era of Heart is quite different from their ‘70s origins. They made a transition to a more pop-oriented sound and an ‘80s hair band look. I think the consensus was that while they were great in both versions, this era wasn’t that pleasant for them, because it was so commercial and there was so much emphasis put on their appearance. Later, they kind of transitioned back into a ore Classic Rock mode, along with more acoustic ... generally going back to being themselves during the Grunge era when authenticity was “in” again.
