The thing is with Heechul, he's on a ton of variety shows and is always flirting with every female guest, and he has a ton of very close female friends which he always hangs out with so reporters never knew who he's going out with. While I agree that they've probably been going out for a while, I don't think they've been going out from Twice's debut in 2015, it most likely started some time in the last 2 years. And I think the biggest reason why the fandoms were cool about it is that he's one of the most respected idols in the industry, many female idols, actresses and female celebrities in general have praised him saying he's someone safe, as in you can even get completely drunk with him and he won't take advantage of you.

Momo is her real name, not a stage name (Her full name is Hirai Momo). She's Japanese, and her name, the word momo, means peach lol.

Heechul is EXTREMELY well known for being friends with girl groups and flirting with a bunch of girls as well. He never hides who he likes and says it confidently, and ever since twice debuted Momo has been his bias. The thing is tho, bc of this most of the media never looks into his dating life because it always turns out that he’s just friends with all these girls (so the media gave up kinda 😂) they even accused him of being gay int he past. One thing that’s most interesting tho is that the media has accused momo and heechul of dating MULTIPLE times which usually isn’t the case concerning heechul as he’ll say “nah we not dating” and everyone moves on. The fact they kept saying that momo and heechul were dating causes me to also think they’ve been dating for a while 😂😂

Momo and Heechul is one of those celebrity couples who just seem too good to be true or painfully obvious where no one believes they're gonna become an actual thing but they actually do end up together 😄

When Nayeon said that and almost expose them, NO ONE HAVE EVER HAS AN IDEA ABOUT BOTH OF THEM THOUGH 😂 There was once where Momo went back to her hometown (kyoto) and heechul also seen in kyoto too but no one ever suspected they are dating or having relay because they are so close to each other with senior junior relay and heechul also close with many girls groups.

Heechul's nickname around girl groups is Kim Condom. Because all girl groups feel so comfortable with him. They can hang out together without being suspected to have a scandal or something. SNSD the close juniors to super junior from SMtown too, once said, heechul act like that so that he can date comfortably without getting caught. Which i think that's true 😂😂😂

I think that Heechul was jokingly fanboying over her on variety shows at first and then they got closer, which made them end up like this. Tons of idols date each other in secret, but it’s just that the public doesn’t react very nicely. Which is why they all keep it a secret. But tons of idols have said before that almost every idol dates each other or someone outside of the idol life. I hope that it gets accepted more throughout the years.

ELF mostly don't care anymore about it and we want suju to find their girls, but I think we should be careful with ONCE (Twice fandom) because twice is in the peak of their popularity and fame so maybe Heechul try to be careful exposing their relationship for the sake of Momo. I think they find each other interesting, attractive, for a very long time but only started dating recently.I think in the beginning it was just funny flirt that real feelings came later.And since Momo was added to the group later because of JYP and group decision, she and Heechul probably waited for the Twice dating ban to be lifted at the end of 2018.

Everyone keeps on saying how lucky Hee Chul is to be Momo's boyfriend. Lol. Sis, Momo's so lucky... I can't even. Hee Chul is one of the best guy's in the industry, and this is his first dating scandal" (ugh I hate that term) after 15 years of being an idol, that just proves how much he cares about Momo. Honestly wasn't a fan if Twice but after news broke that Hee Chul's been dating Momo I checked her out and I'm now in love. Actually, Momo is her real name. It means peach in Japanese. It's a common girl's name in Japan. Sometimes there are also Momoko. Adding a ko at the end of girls names are also very common in Japan.

I don't think it's any different for Super Junior, it depends in in individal idol's image. Shindong got married early and for him it was ok, for Sungmin it was not. So I fear it has a lot to do whether someone has "hearthrob" status with many people or not. Heechul has fans as a personality and some women do find him attractive as a guy, but they have always been a minority. For a major heartthrob like Donghae it would probably be more difficult. From classical Hollywood to Western boy groups, "availability", even if it is just in fantasy, has always been a major factor. Hearthrobs had to remain single - unless there were rumours about their being gay, then they might even go so far as to enter into a fake marriage. There's a deep paradox here: Most (heterosexual) female audiences want their male idols to be straight, attractive and prove themselves as caring lovers, on some level they probably also want them to be happy as human beings (eg really have a happy relationship as a family), but when it happens they often get jealous (as if they couldn't still have a fantasy relationship - because it's still only fantasy). In the case of downright pathological fans that can even lead to threats of harm, so it's not funny. And people don't seem to learn, because it's been the same for decades and across cultures!

El fandom de super junior no es tan maduro que digamos (al menos en Corea) porque cuando un integrante (Sungmin) anunció que se iba a casar, le hicieron la vida imposible y SM termino dejándolo fuera del siguiente comeback y de hecho, no ha vuelto a estar activo en el grupo desde entonces... yo creo que en este caso al menos desde el fandom de Super junior no ha habido tanta gente en contra porque es Momo y a la vez, porque es Heechul
