Many women get trapped in domestic violence situations, I know a lady who took years to escape her abuser and it got to the point where her family were under threat. It's not always as simple as a goodbye to an abuser and Puffy has money, influence etc.
Diddy was absolutely wrong for that and others perhaps? however why didn't Cassie sue the hotel for withholding evidence to prosecute Diddy back when it happened? next question: who had the video? how did Diddy crew pay for a video not in their possession? whoever paid for the video used it for leverage against Diddy for a time like this? if Diddy had the video he probably would have destroyed it long ago?
I expected better from you guys. Of course, he paid for it to go away, Isn't that what money is for, to make your life better? He had 7 years of better than best until it came out. Did you expect him to expose himself before the video was aired? Our nations 5th amendment of the Constitution gives you the RIGHT not to incriminate yourself. There was no crime until it was reported, no laws broken for not turning yourself in, right? As far as apologizing to Cassie, I would suspect he did that after every beating; to do it now would hold no more truth now than it did then, and, would seem a bit blasé. Shame on the co-conspirators for not sending it to the police; they had a duty to protect all those who patronized thier establishment . First there is a court order that Diddy must not mention Cassie, or speak about her publicly. Second why is everyone blaming the hotel and not Cassie who coulda gone to the police to report the abuse? Immediately it took place? Even her lawsuit was not criminal case, which means she wanted money and she got 30 million and now his image is in shambles. I think that’s what she wanted and she got that.
