Reacting to Hundreds of Angry Comments on my Reel about Porsche Door Sounds

I messed up.
I created a Reel (also a RU-vid Short: • The Best Car Door Clos... ) wherein I made the outlandish claim that the Porsche 993 Carrera RS had ...the best car door close sound.
It was viewed by a lot of people, and many of them disagreed with my claim pretty strongly. I never explained my criteria for "best," so I can definitely see how people got riled up about it. So the purpose of this video is just to show some of the funnier or more absurd comments, and good comments, and to respond to a few.

You have now seen a glimpse of brain-rot from Instagram and tiktok users lol, lots of people think their opinions matter more than they really do, the post was just fun and harmless and then tons of people got triggered from it for no reason haha. Love your stuff brother! Just shot the FCCS in Scottsdale this weekend with mostly my zoom lens and I hope I can win the photo contest!

So basically, the Internet got together to challenge your claim as "the best" by mentioning every other car ever made by man. Not surprising. By the way, that guy is right. That door thrum does make a "C" note and it's been said that one of the more soothing frequencies are those octaves in "C". Knowing the Germans, this is unlikely to be a coincidence.

thank you! When so many people tell you that you're wrong, all you can do is laugh. It was jarring at first, but after a while the negative comments amused me a lot more than the positive ones 😄

You had me laughing too with those comments. Hook, line and sinker people: too many of you took it too seriously. BTW, looking at those Instagram stats most thought you were right. More likes than comments.

Someone should have at least pointed out the wisdom in choosing the most hollow-sounding door among famously solid-sounding air-cooled 911 doors.
