Germany decided to send Isaak with his song "Always on the run" to Eurovision 2024 and here's my reaction to his performance at Das Deutsche Finale!

@@simantov4UUU Also es waren auch viele gute Songs dabei………man muss nicht immer alles so schlecht reden. Von anderen Ländern waren weiß Gott viel schlechtere dabei!!!!!!Definitiv in jedem Jahr.

I think his clothes suit him. In anything else he would look like a disguise. In addition to all the glittering clothing, he could stand out positively as an anti-hero. 🤗 He's an original, very unique and authentic, on and off stage, he doesn't put on a show, he's just himself. And I think one can notice that straight away. Nice anecdote: When he found out that he had won with his song, the first thing he said was that he actually had to go to the toilet real quick. The presenter then laughed and replied that first he had to present the winning song again. I found this scene so refreshing, I laughed heartily. 😂🥰

Hello Kostis, yes yesterday I saw their final. So exactly, I agree with you: I love his VOICE, passion and the forces his put into this performance! On the second hand the part of performance's staging, clothes and lighting are supposed to change or improve. Have a nice weekend 💨💝

Congratulations to Isaak. According to the new voting system, it was clear that some artists no longer had a chance after the international jury's vote. A pity. I hope that in the future only the viewers will decide.

Yes, he did and I wish him good luck. He gave a very authentic and vocally good performance. You could continue to vote after the jury's result and it is rumored that many wanted to prevent Max Mutzke and voted accordingly.

The song is not special but he has a great voice and nice smile, he doesn't deserve the last place, I hope Germany improve the ranking this year.

I actually like that there is not much going on on stage. He has an awesome presence and I don't think that every song needs this overly dramatic cineastic staging. I think it's a plus that he is just authentic.

I agree. I don't mean that there should be dancers or something extravagant for this song. But as an artist you should prepare for the occasion. If this was a gig at a bar where he was singing it would be fantastic. But he can't go like that at Eurovision. For example if you see Ryk. He also didn't have a lot going on and he was just standing still. But there was direction and intention there and not only raw talent. The camera work was all under direction and you could tell. So yeah, when I say that this is not enough, I don't mean to do things that don't go with the song, but to do something that will elevate it and that it's relevant and not just some laser lights that have nothing to do with it.

I have nothing against him. This was really the only song I liked out of this weak NF. But.. after having seen the official Video, there was more potential for the staging. I was really surprised that I enjoyed "Katze" the most. Over all the NF was so boring . My favourite part was the 3 minutes Lord of the Lost were there 😂😅 And I didn't really understand the weird point system. Maybe they wanted to avoid any drama like last year, don't know... just hope next year we get a more musically diverse NF again.

I hope so too for next year! And yes Katze was fun and had the best staging. I really think that the best option would be Ryk with his amazing vocals!! Anyway... Let's see what Isaak will do at the Eurovision stage and good luck to him ❤️

Hi Kostis, sweetie , Isaak was my favorite. He has a good voice. But unfortunately a good voice doesn't count, only being special does. It will be one of the last places again. But since LotL, I don't care, because this last place was undeserved. I'm in favor of Germany no longer taking part and I don't need it broadcast anymore. Then we won't have to pay anything. We shouldn't call Germany anymore either, 80 million that will be lost. I think Isaak is a good choice. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him

Greetings from Germany Hamburg! I kind of like the song of Isaak, but it just is not the kind of Musik I listen to usually. Last Year I was really happy they did send Lord of the Lost. Yes, they got last place (I still don`t get why) but anyway I really love their musik and what they do. So I still was proud of them representing Germany. Isaak...yes, he has a good voice, but to me it was just a regular song, nothing special.

He has a great voice. It’s a decent song. But Oh Boy was my favorite of the Germany’s selection. I think that’ve gone high in the ESC final. I don’t know about this one.

A really very good voice - no doubt - but all in all I don´t think it will be not strong enough to take germany away from the last place - hmmm we will see - I hope he will change clothes

In my opinion Isaak is a really great singer, but the song itself is too middle of the road for my taste. The verses are actually much better than the choruses.

This song is for me very generic. I don't suppose Isaak's song get good result. The best was Ryk with his song "Oh boy" . His voice was like a diamond and don't understand that people from Germany didn't choose him. They simply have no good taste. It was chance for good result. Greetings from Poland.

I love this Song 😍. It was my favourite Song. But hey, we are Germany. No one will give us points. No matter what song Germany sings there, we have no chance.That is so sad. Germany should have boycotted the ESC this year. 😢

i´m from germany and i dont like songs representing our country in english. my chosen 2 songs been katze and naiv. esc stands for the diversity of the nations, there music and there languages. there cultures. germany did well in the 80th with a great compositor and and lyrics in our language.dschingis khan, theater, johnny blue, ein bischen frieden, für alle, reise nach jerusalem been nr.3,2,2,2,1 rated songs in the final.

It is a very generic song. You will forget that song in 15min. He is a good singer, but the song is boring. That is a classic bottom five song, UK did some years ago a similiar song and also did not achieve a good result He needs to put something in it, a breakdown whatever to make the song more outstanding. He sings also on a very plane pitch, what also has to be changed. Otherwise we Germans will end up on the last place again. Tbh, none of these song in the preselect has a chance this year. The German preselect is broken since years and has to be fixed. The sooner the better.
