J-hope is unique!! He is my bias since day one! He is just amazing, versatile!! If you want to know more about his story, check his docu-series Hope on the street!! 💖💖 I loved your reaction to our Hobi!!
Hobi was the reason why i became an ARMY last year. He is such a ray of sunshine but has such depth in his soul. He is so multi-talented and i am so proud of him! He is so creative and passionate about dance & music. I started liking him because of his stage presence & smile. But then i discovered so much more about him. Then i listened to all of his songs paying attention to the melody and lyrics and gosh i did relate to all of his songs. They are so very deep. Thank you for doing a reaction for HOBI. Hope you do more from hope world, jack in the box and hope on the street ❤😊
2:52 “is he this voice??” mhmm in my opinion he’s got one of the most distinct voices/cadences which make for some of the BEST parts of BTS songs…happy you’ve put together that it’s him!!!
It's definitely a signature of BTS' sound. And I've heard a lot of people try to cover him but his parts are always so distinctly HIM and he's so...unique and original...he's just impossible to cover. What a special artist.
Fun fact, Neuron is the street crew J-Hope joined when he was a kid. The whole album, J-Hope on the street, is back to his roots. He also had a song with J-Cole that's called 'on the street' and it was a song for ARMY when he enlisted into the military...
Arthur is a reference to The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy. A lot of the lyrics in the happy sounding songs in Hope World are actually pretty sad. Which I think you are picking up.
Gawd, I just love everything about Hobi's vocals and rap. I'm happy for you that you got to experience his music like this. If you go back and listen to the layers of vocals in BTS songs, Hobi is often one of the layers. We call him the secret vocal line. He gives so much warmth and depth to his music and the music of BTS.
Okay, the way you used the word prophet and talked about him rapping like he's preaching---YES. Another reactor who is really deep in the industry stuff, after watching j-hope's "j-hope In The Box" documentary, called j-hope "the Messiah of kpop" because he proselytizes through his performance. He takes you to church and he's so earnest and sincere in his message of hope and resilience and self-belief/respect that you internalize it and are moved by it. I've come to call his works and philosophies the "Gospel of Hope" and that is a powerful foundation for a healthy, positive, self-assured, resilient mindset. Anyway, I just LOVED hearing that upon his first few words. You are not alone in that sentiment. And I also think this power he has to grip an audience like some firebrand thought leader, is part of the reason he's known as the performer of our generation. It's fandom canon that you go to a BTS concert and you leave a little j-hope biased. It happened to me. I went to Metlife Day 1 in 2019 in head-to-toe Jimin gear and j-hope just pulled something inhuman out of me. It was a revelation, I swear, and I've been j-hope biased ever since.
Usually i don't listen rap, but Jhope is my favorite rapper, I love his tone, dance skills and personality, he is such a good in live,if you have time you should check his lollapalooza performance
"I don't need to be attracted to everyone in BTS, but that's how we're going to end up here." Yep, that's how it often ends up being. Welcome to the OT7 life. These guys are each remarkable, endearing, and easy on the ears and eyes.
j-hope's first project (Hope World) and second project (Jack In The Box) are two sides of the same person. People said it was a big direction change for him but I think there's a common thread of surrealism and old school hip hop fusion that connects them. Plus the overall theme of the light and dark side of hope. Tim Burton did Big Fish and Edward Scissorhands and they were both clearly of the same artistic mind. Hope World and Jack In The Box are the same way.
Thank you for your reaction to j-hope. He is great at everything he does. I love his cadence and his voice so much. You can see his dancing background in the way he rides the beat. Can't wait for more. Check out blueside the full version.
Yes he is involved in composition, lyrics, he is a producer, dance leader of BTS, and rapper, plus he sings. Lollapalooza is where he showed off his album JITB and Hope World to the audience and this is an amazing performance. Also, his new EP album Hope on the street v1 accompanies his docuseries Hope on the Street including Neuron. Also, loved your reaction!!
It's not the fame and power it's the fact he's an artist and part of what makes an artist is the inner need, want, drive to create and create something even better than the last thing you've created it's in our blood, it's in our souls. As humans we are creative. And whatever we create be it something simple or grand we always feel we can and want to do it better it's not that he feels he's not enough rather he feels there's more inside and creating is life itself which is true dead things don't create anything.
Based on the songs you have on your channel I thought you might like J Hope’s older album Hope World. I am still watching your video so don’t know how much you like grimey hip hop 😅 I love both ❤ Will continue to watch your video and hope you also like the rest ❤
First time you came on my feed and omg I loveee this reaction. One of my fav reactions of my bias Jhope 🫶🏾🫶🏾 Please do Lollapalooza and post clips on RU-vid 🙏🏾🙏🏾 Start to end its sooooooo good!!!! His voice and style is so unique and creative. Ace of Kpop 💜💜
A dancer - one of the best seniors along with Taemin jimin Kai A rapper- with a really distinctive voice and message A vocalist - his opening vocals To spring day are kind Of hauntingly sweet And A sweet kind hearted guy altogether At one point antis mounted a specific campaign against his ugliness and lack of talent… Says what you need to know About certain fandoms
13:21 About the "bragging" line -- ('m not sure either) but maybe he means that he can't talk about his struggles with anyone (who isn't also BTS or equally famous) because even if he spoke basic facts, it might sound like bragging. An imaginary example: he tells someone he's tired, and they ask why and he says it's from performing (a sold-out concert at Wembley Stadium) the night before. Maybe? 😂
Arthur is the main character of the film h2g2 based on the novel "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and the "don't panic" is a direct allusion to this work
Jhope didnt say he wants more fame and money, because he already has that. His work makes him breathe so he wants more. Jack in the Box is dark while his previous album was full of hope.
I think you are right about the woman in Neuron I watched behind the scenes and she came over from America with her husband to sing her part! This was made for when he went in the military for us to see it was an EP with 6 songs about dance he made it a documentary on Prime video a 6 parter where he went to different countries to dance with people!
No YoonMirae and her husband Tiger JK live in Korea I believe. He was right about them having a label (FeelGhood) and that Bibi is on it. They also have songs with RM (BuckuBucku and Timeless).
The message of “Don’t panic” from Arthur is a reference to “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”. If you like his singing voice, definitely check out his newest soundtrack album, “Hope On the Street, Vol. 1”. He sounds absolutely amazing! Also, Jimin recently released his second album, “MUSE”. In addition to the main track, “Who” MV, he literally just released a live clip of “Rebirth” and “Slow Dance feat. Sophia Carson”. And, yes, she’s singing with him live! I really like your reactions. I would love to see more BTS! Borahae from a 57 year old American grandma 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
