this has got to be the funniest reaction to kpop for the first time ive seen oml...so kpop is like a genre and groups like IVE and NewJeans fall underneath of it, its pretty much pop but korean, so i reccomend subtitles for the future if you choose to continue (and yes some korean words sound like english, but i promise they are completely different words)
@@draedakid Some Korean words sound like English, but just Kpop has a lot of actual English in the songs. Expect to hear a mix of both Korean and English from now on, and on some occasions a song by a kpop group may be all English

If you want group recommendations + songs then i recommend: (Boy group) Stray kids: “god’s menu” is a great song (Girl group) (G)i-dle: “oh my god” this song makes me levitate (Boy BAND) Xdinary heroes: they’re like a kpop rock band if that makes sense LMAO i recommend their song “test me”! The difference between band and group in kpop is that groups dance and bands play instruments!
It’s K-pop. It’s Korean. Yes they mix in English but that’s to appeal to a western audience. And some K-pop idols speak English like most if not all the members of the second group
And yes, IVE and new jeans are kpop! Sometimes kpop has mixes of different genres! There’s r&b groups for example but they also fall under the umbrella of kpop! Kpop is diverse and doesn’t even have to be pop sometimes!

This is legit. Just to give remarks regarding your comments on the MV's in IVE 'I AM' naega in korean means 'me' so its completely normal in their language. For new jeans 'super shy' yes it is kpop and yes they're fluent in English because a few are foreigners and and the others just happen to speak English well, but not all groups speak english fluently they still try their best to show it for their international fans. Most groups add english words or phrases in their music because its the vibe.
This had been one of the best kpop reaction videos i have watched so far! The first and second song were kpop, during Traineing they learn english so that why they can speak it so well, on the second song "super shy" the group is called newjeans they have an Australian member, her name is Danielle. Btw it'll probably be better if you put on the captions so that you can understand the lyrics 👍
kpop is mostly in korean and english, like at the same time. but it can be all english too. it can be in japanese aswell. and chinese too. some groups throw in a little bit of spanish from time to time. it literally has no limits now hahaha

(150 million views is cracy tho) K-pop stands for Korean-pop (but it's not only pop, they do everything but it's all called kpop since it's korean). So they sing in korean but also english as you heard (a mix of both). There are a lot of kpop groups and you just watched two groups that have debuted recently and are very popular.

The more views a music video has the more chances of getting a award they have. Kpop Fans have many different tricks of getting views up :) actually there’s about 8 billion people on earth 😭 there’s millions of kpop Fans tho so it’s still a lot
U should react to p1harmony. They arent as big as a lot of groups but they have great music. Scared, Gotta geg back, siren, thats money, nemonade, do it like that(theres a english verson if you'd like that), and so many other songs. They got no skips
