Stay when we find out someone’s first song of stray kids is Red Lights: 😅🥵 It is actually a b-side and a unit song off the Noeasy (noisy) album with only two members performing on it. Surfin’ and Gone Away are the other two unit songs and music videos from this era. Each song was written by the guys in the unit. yay stray kids!! 15:39 this song is only 2/8 members (hyunjinlong black hair, bangchan (leader) short blonde hair) and theyre all so talented. plus, they write, produce, and compose ALL of their own music since pre debut which is what i love so much about them. the 3 members who do most of it are the top 3 most credited 4th gen idols for song writing. they are all so passionate about what they do and unapologetically do whatever they want and don't conform to making music how others want, that is what i love most about them and i think is what draws most people in as well. if you decide to do more i recommend: s-class god's menu thunderous backdoor venom case 143 maniac those songs alone will really show you how their music is so different from other artists and just how versatile and talented they are!! plus their music videos are always the absolute best

All the way back in 2013 when BTS debuted, Kpop songs were pretty superficial: catchy but not thematically complex or meaningful (at least in my opinion). BTS is so big because they are the group that changed that. BTS brought back social commentary and honesty from Seo Taiji and 1st gen Kpop and combined it with intense choreography and epic performances from 2nd gen Kpop. BTS is THE GROUP that created the "full Kpop experience" that is now widely seen in 4th gen Kpop groups (the more recent groups that are currently dominating the Kpop industry alongside BTS). After seeing BTS' success, many labels applied the same strategies to their new groups. Now, many Kpop groups are releasing songs, MVs, and albums that are more conceptual and meaningful. More groups are self-producing and self-writing. Most groups are very active on social media and platforms like RU-vid. They communicate more with their fans and release their own contents like challenges, variety shows, and behind the scenes. These traits and strategies were not at all common before BTS rose to prominence. BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. Bts has an amazing discography, the lyrics, songs and videos are impressive, there are 7 in the group and they debuted in 2013, now some of them officially started their solo careers since they are going to the military (2 of them already enlisted, JIN and JHOPE) but they will meet again around 2025. Stray kids is an 8 member group, but sometimes have unit songs like red lights with 2/3/4 members and some solos aswell. Hyunjin is also pronounced like just as it looks hyun-jin theres no accents or nothing like that. I recommend thunderous next or their debut songs district 9.

K-pop artists are, I feel, one of the hardest working people in the music industry. They have to take classes for singing, rapping, dancing, acting in order to be able to perform perfectly live because they go on stage all the time. Can you imagine, having to remember your lines, your place in the choreography, your expressions, where to look for the cameras, keep on smiling when you're out of breath or having a cramp. It's just crazy how they're able to do it so well. On top of that the music video and live stage productions are perfect. They spend a lot of money on these productions.

I swear reaction channels always choose Red Lights as their first Skz song 🥲💀 but red lights is actually about Bang chan (leader of skz) and hyunjin’s (2/8 of Stray kids members) perfectionism and addiction to work, red lights reffering to the lights in the recording studio.
All of those videos you watched have English subtitles if you turn on the closed captions. Most Kpop songs are a mixture of Korean and English. If you want to check out more from BTS I suggest Mic Drop. All the BTS members also have solo music that they release which you might like as well. Red Lights is only 2 of the 8 members of Stray Kids. Most of their songs are more rap heavy. You could try God’s Menu or Venom music video if you want to see the while group. (With the captions on). I don’t listen to Black Pink that often but I think Pink Venom might be their most recent music video. The hard core Blinks can tell me if I’m wrong about that.
BTS only fan. I appreciate you reacting to all 3 group. If you’re new to K-pop you’ll be surprised at most groups performance. The difference between BTS and perhaps Straykids is that unlike most K-pop groups they are involved in writing, composing and producing music for not only themselves but other artists as well. Although they may look young as you’ve seen in one of the Butter videos however was not the official mv they have been doing this for 10 years. Unlike most of K-pop groups BTS came from a very small and almost bankrupt label company and became the most famous group in the world with the largest fandom in the world as far as music fandoms go. They also made their label the largest and richest company in Korea but also competitive with worldwide labels such as Sony and Universal. BTS paved the way for K-pop to become popular in the western world. If you are interested in delving more into K-pop and BTS I’m suggesting Mic Drop, ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film and Black Swan by BTS. Kpop is really cool because each group is a performance group really, they dance, sing and rap. There are actually a lot of genres within kpop so you can usually find a few groups that are your style. I'm a Stray Kids fan mainly, Red Lights was actually the song that got me into them and kpop. Red Lights is actually a unit song (with just two members), the full group has 8 members. They recently came out with a new album called 5 Star so they have a bunch of new music videos on their youtube page if you're interested, but I think 'Venom' is a good introduction to the group, and their most famous song is probably 'God's Menu'. Most kpop groups have members that specialise in certain things, there will be a dance line, rap line, vocal line (but not all groups, Stray Kids for example don't have set roles in the same way some groups do), and others have 'units' that with specialise in something, but pretty much all kpop artists are multitalented singers and dancers. The live performances can be incredible too, theatrical and explosive. Kpop groups often have their own variety shows as well, so on their youtube channels you'll find series they make where they play games, go on trips, do challenges- so you get to know the personalities of the members, and kpop groups focus on entertainment as a whole, so some will be actors and things as well, the talent is so high. For Stray Kids I recommend: 'S Class', 'Venom', 'God's Menu' Some other groups you might be interested in based on what you liked: P1Harmony ('Back Down' mv), Ateez ('Bouncy' mv), Seventeen (Super/손오공 mv), TXT (Good Boy Gone Bad mv), Kiss of Life (Shhh mv), Le Sserafim ('Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard's wife' mv), Itzy (Cheshire mv), Nmixx (Dice mv). And some of my favorite BTS songs you should listen are Mic drop, Run bts (there's no mv so watch the live stage), and their solo music is amazing, More by j-hope, Haegeum by agust d and since you liked jungkook he has new song Seven.

Both groups r also known for their amazing rap-lines and btw, skz has 8 members but red lights was a collab between only 2 of them (chan and hyunjin). As well as that, BTS r known for their amazing lyricism and the rapline specifically r known for their wordplay ( there r 3 rappers and 4 vocalists in the group). And yes most kpop artists r incredible dancers, dance is a very important element of kpop.

I LOVE Stray Kids and I´m 48yo 😅 you should react to 3 videos from each group to see more about them. Stray Kids produce, write, and are 100% involved in each of their songs. They are INCREDIBLY talented and very versatile, they like to mix and play with different genres, and their sound is so unique that they created a new one called Mala Taste. Wow! What a first song to pick for reaction for Stray Kids 😂! Hyunjin said the he actually wrote the lyrics about the compulsive 2 sides of the same person. That could be assigned to anything from your relationships to work. So that is actually reflected in the video but they wanted to leave the video open to the viewer’s interpretation.

Yes, all K-pop groups can sing, dance, rap and act (their MVs) call for it...all K-pop MVs are well thought-out, designed and shot..the Butter video you reacted to is a Performance VIdeo..because at the very least, especially for the title tracks of the K-pop albums, usually, there is an Official MV, Performance MV and a DANCE practice video.
