i'm a girl group stan, especially twice. they literally have a song for every single genre you can imagine, so if you tell me what genre you like or what songs you like then i can recommend you something similar to that. (for now, i'll tell you that you should check out "i can't stop me", "perfect world", "tt", "what is love") don't feel pressured to know everything about a group tho, or feel discouraged to check a group out because they have a lot of members, i listen to some songs by artists that i have no idea how many people are in the group or who they are and it's still enjoyable. music is there to be enjoyed and it's nice to have fun by discovering new things :)

I can only recommend that if you do the reactions to the TWICE, then go through the music videos chronologically. First you will see a gradual progression/evolution and secondly, there are a few music videos that refer to each other, for example "TT" is before "Knock, Knock" (Respectively in "Knock, Knock" is a reference to "TT".) ...

i recommend "Dreamcatcher" they're a girl group with a way more "dark" theme, most of their songs are heavily rock-based (at the beginning their songs sounded kinda...anime-ish? but in a very good way!!). if you'd like to react to one of their songs, you should go with either "scream" or "boca" :D

You have no idea how big and groundbreaking TWICE are. They literally revived girl groups back to relevancy being able to compete with the boys again after a couple years of one sided dominance by the boy groups. When they took off in 2016, they outperformed all other groups in music show wins, streams and RU-vid views, pretty much every category and were only consistently challenged by the biggest boy group in the world (BTS obviously). They currently have 116 music show wins behind only BTS and Exo both having a bit over 120, and both groups had a solid 2 years headstart ahead of TWICE. If you want more a mature feel from them to see their versatility and prefer songs with lower drops, I’d suggest you react to Feel Special and Cry For Me (stage)

They are from SM and are part of SMCU(sm culture universe) which ties all groups together, each sm group has really unique and intricate concepts that were all planned for 20+ years. Thanks for a great reaction! Twice has definitely been heading towards a more mature sound in the last year or so (such as Feel Special or I Can't Stop Me), but I love their earlier brighter more cute songs as well. I would recommend Mamamoo for some amazing vocals (Dingga for something fun or WAW for their most recent powerhouse ballad) and Dreamcatcher if you want a girl group with rock as their base sound (their most recent song is BEcause and is their version of a summer bop!). I hope this helps you on your journey to discover some more girl groups!

Twice and itzy are sister groups. They are in the same company.

Everyone freaks out when Ryujin cuts her hair in "Wannabe", lol. From their behind the scenes stuff, it was a wig. But, they only had two wigs on set, so she was really nervous about getting it wrong.

If you want to "get into" a song, listen to the audio-only version, with your headphones, off camera, and without distractions. Many Kpop songs need at least a second run through in order to really hook us. I'm in love with Aespa, and I'll admit that their title tracks didn't grab me by the ears on my first listen. But after giving them a couple of proper listens, their music has hit me hard, including their b-sides. Can't wait for their next comeback.

First recommendation: Dreamcatcher, they’re my ultimate group, and they are different from ALL other Kpop groups (girls and boys alike) they have opened the doors to mixing heavy rock into Kpop and the mix is wonderful! Second recommendation: Red Velvet, they were named the “Best Idol Group Alive” by Billboard because of their incredible discography, songs like Psycho and Bad Boy have left a huge mark on the industry. Love hearing your thoughts on expanding, I should really do the same with boy groups, I barely know any.

Because as a gg stan I have heard things about boy groups that have proven to not be true just by me doing my own searching. So anything you’ve heard about girl groups is probably also not true (they don’t just do cutesy or girl crush concepts and they’re definitely not one dimensional). There’s a lot more things about them that you will like and some of those mvs are even similar to boy groups mvs. Anyways, I hope you can check some of these out. Try Blackpink's Dddu Du Dddu Du, and 2NE1's I am the Best. Those two groups, like Itzy are "girl crush" concepts but much bigger in terms of impact. Blackpink is the biggest girl group in the world right now and their music videos are amazing. :). Oh and whoever you like is who you like. Don't let some people try to force you to change your opinion.

I expected that you wouldn't like next level on your first listen because that happened to me. But after how many days, it grew on me

When I get a chance I'm going to dive into Itzy more. I love everything I've heard from them so much. This one was like a club banger, but with a good message, and I loved their most recent comeback. I loved Aespas debut song, but I felt the same way about this one. I liked all the elements of the track separately, but I found that I didn't enjoy listening to it all together as much. Twice are icons. I haven't ever tried to activity seek them out but I always end up with multiple Twice songs on my playlists. I wasn't a big fan of the latest comeback, Alcohol Free (I liked the vibe and the melody and everything, but there's a tinkley chimey sound that pops up throughout the track and I kept thinking it was a work alarm and it stressed me out so much I ended up not liking the song anymore). 😂😂 I listen to the same tracks over and over like a bot, so when there's a tiny element of a track that I don't really like, and I hear it over and over as I loop my playlists, I end up fixating on it and totally ruining the song for myself. 😂

Dunno if someone already explain this but in next level the girls are traveling to kwangya following the black mamba that is like the villain of this storyline, kwangya is the world of their avatars. Pd: ITZY always ends their dances with a crown but in different positions.

If you want darker concepts I suggest Dreamcatcher! They are really a different group.. I suggest Boca or Scream. And I recommend doing more Twice and Itzy reactions, both of them are my fav ggs. For ITZY, I suggest you listen to Mafia in The Morning, Not Shy, Dalla Dalla, Icy, those are one of their comebacks.. they also have amazing bsides, from their album "Guess Who?" They have a lot of great songs there but my favorite is TENNIS because I prefer calming music.. For TWICE I suggest Cry for Me, I Can't Stop Me, More & More, Feel Special, Perfect World.. Those are one of the mature comebacks they have had recently,,, and I also suggest listening to their bsides, their bsides are mostly calm and soft if you wanna hear their calming bsides I suggest (21:29, Ice Cream, Jaljayo Goodnight, After Moon, 1 to 10, Precious Love, Say Yes). If you want to hear darker bsides I suggest you listen to the whole Eyes Wide Open album. Their recent comeback "Alcohol-Free" is where being drunk is used as a metaphor in falling in love which is why there are alcohol drinks named in the video, the genre has bossa nova and calming instrumentals, you should listen to their album 'Taste of Love' every song there are really perfect to listen to when you're in a long drive. When it comes to TWICE your imagination is endless, if you want to hear to calming and cheering soulful music they have those, if you want to hear darker and more mature concepts they have those too, and if you want to listen to cuter concepts they have those as well. They have a lot of concepts, they actually started from cute concepts but they eventually started doing mature ones. If you don't know, their storyline is about a girl growing up and she experiences things about love, which is why their concept gets more mature . if you connect all of their songs it actually makes sense even their Japanese tracks.. Twice is one of the few groups nowadays who still follows their storyline and it gets better everytime. Sorry if I said too much about TWICE, I'm just really interested in their music and personality XD
