I know right it’s because he’s expecting the beat drop to be fricking AWESOME BRO but once he hears the drop he’s like man 2 out of 10 2 OUT OF 10! What is this!
@@kanishk_5913 Not even gon lie it kinda should, when you're making one you should be going over it again and again to make sure it's a finished product
@@neurotic3015 most of them are finished projects. None of them are actual producers making actual beats for artists. They make simple, repetitive beats to put online. And whether the beat is good or not is up for debate because just because it sucks to Ksi doesn’t mean it sucks to other people.
Dont forget the mixing is important. And the melodies is also important. A good beat that ksi will give 10/10 for is a well made melody and clean drums
Idea: Make something like the Poppin' Challenge, but this time for producers. Pick a winner of a certain amount of submitted beats and release a single on it. Would be dope! 🔥
I think he wants to let us know that he the extremely strict type of critic so when other people see him react to their stuff they can be sure to have accomplished something so yeah
Dhruv Menon I am a RU-vidr from England 🏴, I make all sorts of videos. I even interviewed KSI a few years ago Some support on my channel would be much appreciated!
His next challenge: for all the future producers out there, he does a top ten like the poppin challenge but just type beats and the winning beat is used on a track on his next next album
Any RU-vidr who play Fortnite and wanna grown your Channel?! I got 19.3K Subs! I play with Fans and also record Duos and 1v1 with Them!❤️☺️Join the Family and Let’s grow Together!!❤️

As a producer myself, i see a few problems in the beats. Muddiness in the mix and no progression. Almost all beats are too muddy on the mix, either ahve too much low end, or just not letting each element have its own space. I am no means an expert, but i do recognize the mistakes. Secondly, the beat isnt interesting enough to going on for 2 mins. It could be a loop on loop mode. But as a song???? i dont think so. I'd prefer to have like a beat change or like 808 pattern change. I am not a hiphop producer. I am a future bass, trap, EDM producer and dont know shit about hiphop and how beats progress. Any hiphop producers out there??? lemme know.
You hit the nail on that one. Regardless of your background in EDM dude you’re right. You addressed the general Issues that are found in beginner tracks.💯
the arrangement of trap/ hip-hop -style beats is generally very repetitive, so as to give the artists room to do their thing over the beat. it's not meant to be a full listening experience, just sort of like a canvas for the artist to paint on. doing too much on a trap beat is looked down upon, and producers focus on keeping it simple but vibey
@@goldenayarn4748 if it’s a 8 bar loop that goes on for 2 minutes. If it doesn’t have proper structure like chorus, verse I wouldn’t hop on it if I was a rapper. The easiest way to do this is taking and adding instruments, using risers and falls. Use silent as a way to make the beat hit harder. This way the artist can do their thing. Most of the beats on here have done that well. The only thing is that the intros are too long. The beats don’t hit as hard as they should.
@@ashxrbeats3380 I never said hip hop producers loop 8 bar loops for 2 minutes 😂 What I said is that beats aren't full songs so they won't give you the same listening experience as a full song just by themselves
No, "type beat" is just to signify what kind of beat it is to get people who like that kind of beat to check it out. Almost every beat channel, the vast majority of them good, use that.
I think poppin is accompanied by lyrics, so the beat's repetitiveness is pardoned. Whereas he is listening to pure beat, its boring without a switch in the beat.
@@CJT100 jordan comolli is a really good producer you should follow his soundcould @ Jordan Comolli/ and listen to his spotify called jordan comolli / he dropped a new beat called GOT DAT and that shi fire bro

Anthony Mele that’s your opinion it’s probably not boring to him... he likes to mainly go hard on tracks and those are beats with a lot of bass and distortion. Also beats that change up
The beat under “bqpd beats” with the long and lame beat drop didn’t REALLY produce it😂, used an app called Groovepad otp that has built in loops😂 that’s why it sounds like that lol
