Rewatching Laguna beach every episode is Kristen and Steven, Lauren always looking at Steven with puppy eyes, lo asking what’s going on with Steven, and them eating and for some Reason I can’t stop watching it wishing it it was 2005 again lol

Can anyone admire Michael’s ability to get up and puke outside the limo? That’s an MVP move. Most high school kids could never manage that. GO MICHAEL 🙌🏻👏🏻

The way Steven asks Kristen to prom was the worst out of all the prom proposals. He said I know how about I pretend to be a stalker and sneak into your house and then run up on you and scare you. Lol

Also rewatching Laguna beach and the “love triangle “ as a teenager I was all for Lauren and Steven, now as ad adult I’m all for Kristen tbh, Steven was a player and didn’t realize he was playing both. Yet my 16 year old self loved it all lol

I honestly feel kind of bad for Lauren? She was a teen who was super in love with her longtime best friend (who messed her around and never actually wanted her as a girlfriend) on national television. It just reminds me of the dumb, embarrassing stuff we all probably did as teens for and with the people we had crushes on. I didn't like Lauren and Jason together, but I was so glad she moved on from Stephen in the second season and seemed to have more agency.

This is part of my feel-good routine now, the 1# reason I go on RU-vid 😭 Love, love, love, you guys and this community. Thank you for bringing light-heartedness to us all! I honestly feel this was meant to be :)

Fun fact: Lauren was last to be cast and wasn't supposed to be on the show at all! She had always been considered a loner. MTV only included Lauren after learning she was actively trying to get with Kristin's boyfriend. Kristin & her friends (Alex, Jessica, Christina, Morgan, Stephen, Dieter, Trey, Talan, etc) were all first to be cast. Lo was added so Lauren would have a real life friend. Lauren & Lo were almost not on the show at all, but they had Lauren narrate the first season to humanize her, as the first storyline was to focus on Lauren vs Kristin with Stephen. Imagine having millions of dollars and getting your own show all because when you were a young adult, your entire mission was to get with some 17-year-old's boyfriend! That is crazy to me. Lauren owes Kristin an apology letter and a basket of muffins for her career!!!

The chaos of the limo scenes is everything. LOL. Stephen and Kristin going from arguing to making out is so high school. Also, I feel like Kristin just had the phone in her hand for something to hold, then the limo driver was like, um yes? Then she laughed and hung it up. LOL! (That's what I think happened anyway.)

When I first watched I remember thinking "That's it? That's what they're wearing for prom" HUGE difference between East Coast/West Coast style. We DRESS up in NYC, more like Casey in S2 😁

Whitney was in such a great mood and I love her laugh, cracks me up every time, Timmy was even more hilarious than usual with his mic (love the mic) and how grossed out he was by Stephen lol and great episode. Watching this again as an adult it is just insane to me that these kids were shitfaced on television and faced absolutely no consequences (I mean, I guess that part isn't that surprising)

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and prom at my high school was so much fun! Asking someone to prom was not a big thing at my high school, and most people went to prom with their friends or their boyfriend/girlfriend. I took my best friend from a different high school, since myself and our other best friend went to the same high school and we all wanted to experience prom together. We, too, got a bunch of people together and rented a white Hummer limo to bring us to the venue and later back home. We had sooo much fun, and then had our after party on a party boat on the East River overlooking the Manhattan skyline. Such a fun and amazing night!

I remember my brothers friend, who was a senior asked me to go to Prom when I was a sophomore and I was so excited to be asked by a senior! 😂❤️

I was watching this whilst on the treadmill and three times I almost fell off laughing. You two are just hilarious! I’m from the U.K. and when I left school in 2006 ‘leavers’ balls’ were just coming into fashion, modelled on US high school proms. It was a really nice evening, but much more formal than the one shown here - we had a sit-down dinner, with speeches from our teachers and the whole thing was fairly sedate. US proms look way more fun!

Omg prom memories...my senior and junior proms were soooo much fun. But, because there's almost always a but, senior prom weekend (yes we made it into a whole weekend thing), i was driven to this beach in RI (thats where we were staying for the weekend and it was like 2 hrs or so from where i live) by this guy i was friends with (or so i thought). Long story short, he got mad at me an hour after we got there because i had taken a pic with this other guy i was friends with and he legit left me in RI and because thats not bad enough, he took all my stuff with him (it was still in his trunk). All i had was my phone and my lip gloss because i always would hold them lol i remember walking all around the beach and hotel areas looking for him and finally someone told me he left. Good thing all my actual friends were there because i ended up staying with them and then having one of em drive me back home the next day. When i show up at home early and not with my stuff, my mom and dad lost it. They called the guy who left me there and demanded he bring my stuff to my house and boy did he get a piece of their mind when he dropped it all off and that was the last time i ever talked to him. Moral of the story: drive yourself places or with your girlfriends because ya never know. I had been friends with him for like 5 yrs so didnt think he'd ever do that but yea, he did. At least prom was fun though and didnt get ruined! Silver linings 😂 Happy Holidays to you and yours and hope you all have a great time and Sonny gets everything he wants from Santa 🎅

I’ve been watching for a long time and Whitney has always come off as this really nice shy quiet girl. But as the shows went on you start to see more of her sassy side which is not bad. But she resembles Lo’s and Lauren’s attitudes more than she thinks, that’s why I think it’s weird when she goes hard on them lol but keep being your sassy self - no shade just observation !

Recognize those shopping outfits! Lauren and Lo wore them in Episode 4, when they were trying on lip glosses in Sephora. WHICH MEANS EVERYTHING IS OUT OF ORDER! 😑😬
