Yes, of course he has to talk while the show is on as it is a commentary, but he talks whilst the cast are talking which means we can't hear what what they are saying, so I personally find it hard to keep up with what's going on in the episode. When commenting on the Hills, Timmy always waits to speak when the cast aren't speaking or he presses pause to make his point. That approach is better!

It's not really a secret, they just made it seem like one on the show. Both have said in interviews that they dated on college briefly. It was just obviously more interesting for the producers to ignore that.

I think it’s more that LC just waited around for Stephen rather than date others. Sadly, she was always just an option to him which was evident when he would hookup with her when he and Kristin were on the outs.

It's just the way the show is framed that the emphasis is on the Kristin/Lauren/Stephen love triangle with Lauren more or less third wheeling. I also think their FWB situation was going on before the show and I wouldn't be surprised if it continued to go on after based on their relationship status.

I'm so glad you're not going to be spamming with shorts because I was considering unsubscribing and just checking your channel every week to see if I missed any reaction videos. We're being bombarded with so much short-form content lately and RU-vid was the one place I could go to escape it, but now all of these creators at the beginning of the new year seem to think we all want shorts and we don't. I'm sure some people love them, but I'd be more inclined to watch them on instagram than here. It's too much. RU-vid is where I go to watch long-form videos.

I get frustrated watching this cuz Stephen messes with Lauren's head alot. I remember when it first aired I felt that way as well. I also didn't like then, and still don't like how Kristin would activately go out of her way to be mean to Lauren. At the party where she calls her a dumbass. I feel like Tim always gave Lauren a hard time and called her out on the Hills reaction videos, he doesn't do the same with Kristin. It's as though she gets a pass. She isn't nice a lot of the time, and she is also mean to Jessica. She is very demeaning to and towards her. Regardless of her bad choices u don't treat friends like that especially on camera.

@@raquellennan1760 I disagree, she and Stephen were friends for years, long before Kristin even moved to Laguna, and they had hooked up on and off over the years. Stephen kept her on the hook, fully knowing the feelings she had for him, and totally messed with her head, even while he was dating Kristin. Instead of pitting the 2 women against each other we should be calling Stephen out for his toxic behavior.

She would've actually been at tufts at this point. She went tufts, use, loyola, uc Berkley, harvard for 1 course and then unc chapel hill. Super accomplished young woman!

I think Stephen is still too hung up on Kristin (who is so over him at this point), and he and Lauren probably hooked up like one time in SF but he wasn’t that into it. And she probably left SF so soon because there was “nothing there for her” aka she was bummed that she and Stephen didn’t just move up there and immediately have a happily ever after situation. I’m sure she still wishes though, and he strings her along juuuust enough to give her hope.
