TBH I hated the third season back in the day! To me Lauren and Kristin made the show. The third season cast wasn't strong enough to pull more seasons, plus I felt like we hardly knew this cast! On the other seasons I feel like the whole cast was in almost every episode. This season was weird because, for example, Breana is in the opening credits but yet is only in a couple of episodes it seems like? And I could NOT with the mean girls this season, they seemed so fake and try hard IMO.

@@lovelettersandlace yea that was my problem too. The mean girls were just so nasty and not compelling. The dynamics were splintered so it wasnt even like we got two solid real groups of friends. TBH this had more drama but i didnt care about these guys at all

Also want to add that rewatching this season on PITS is better too. I think at least partly because there is less personal attachment to the cast of characters. Unlike with Lauren, Kristin, Stephen et al, we (including Timmy and Whit) can just watch the show without having to account for which side of that whole S1/S2 love triangle we were on. Love it so much!

I think it would be great if Tim and Whit had more of a discussion at the end of each episode. Make predictions on what they think will happen next, character arcs, storylines, and their overall thoughts on the episode.

none of the boys on this show know how to communicate, my god. they're so worried about what their bros will think, even if they actually like the girl. Cameron wouldn't claim Jessica, Alex ditched Rocky as soon as the show granted him access to other girls, and Derek is shy and awkward with Tessa in public after being so kind to her on their date. woof.

Cami and kyndra are the ultimate cool try hards. They're so afraid of appearing to genuinely enjoy something. That entire bonfire conversation was shades of the I hate the beach stuff before. Then add in being anywhere near tessa and it's like oh no someone looks to be actually having a good time, better put a dampener on that 😒

Timmy’s comments and facial expressions are not only funny but help distract from the knot of anxiety I feel whenever Tessa and Rocky show up to any event, like damn walking into nest of vipers however…it is and was entertaining. I feel for Rocky so much. Same thing happened to me not too long ago. I learned that you can’t force someone to stay, you shouldn’t change for someone who doesn’t even want to be with you, and that you are enough and worth it. Practice self love and time heals all wounds. Sooner or later they’ll be nothing but a distant memory. One last thing, everything is temporary: the hood and the bad. So enjoy the present moment for what it is.

Watching Rocky's conversations with Alex about breaking up really broke my heart and gave me semi-PTSD feelings/memories about those tough conversations I've had with past significant others when our relationships were ending.. gives me lots of secondhand anxiety. I feel for Rocky, and it's really frustrating to see Alex hang out with those b*tchy girls knowing they bully Rocky and Tessa..

i genuinely think alex really liked rocky but got freaked out because he realized she's a serious girl aka not someone you just date. rocky is the kind of girl you marry, you know what i mean? alex very obviously didn't want that kind of a relationship at that point in time. which is fine, they're both teenagers and he's allowed to want something much more casual. but for people to say that he just wanted to be on the show really does the couple a disservice. eta: tessa is the same kind of girl. she's the kind of girl you marry. both of those two were too good for everyone on this show lol. they were both mature beyond the cast and deserved to be around better people. i hope they are both doing amazing wherever they are in their lives.

I think Alex did like Rocky, but with his friends teasing him and all the other girls saying he’s “sooo hot”, he thought he could do better. He quickly realized that wasn’t gonna work out for him and came crawling back.

Ugh this reminds me SO much of my high school dating experience. It was way too common for boys to back out because they didn't want to be "whipped" even though they were the ones who originally pursued things. I had one bf who told me he'd had a huge crush on me for 4 years and once I started to reciprocate feelings he broke up with me! I found out his friends were teasing him about our relationship and that's why he ended it. It's so sad boys felt bullied out of having intimate romantic relationships and expressing their feelings. In the end, they hurt both themselves and the girl involved. I hope things have changed in the last decade!

I think if they just decided to just be friends they would get along great. No pressure. Any guy would be lucky to have Rocky in their lives. I ran across Tessa's wedding video on you tube. I think it's called "Tessa and Tony". It's a must watch for anyone that hasn't seen it. So sweet, made me 😭. She found an amazing guy it looked like. Don't tell me if their divorced bc it looked like a fairy tell and she's such a sweet girl, obviously a hopeless romantic, and had bad luck with dudes in high school. Spoiler alert though, Rocky wasn't a bridesmaid!!! I'm pretty sure I saw her in the video, so at least they were still friends then and Rocky's hair looked MUCH better, no bad platinum blonde extensions.

Rocky is so great, I love how unselfish she is without being passive, she considers others feelings, actually wants to hear their thoughts and let’s them talk, and communication isn’t one sided with her, she’s honest, open, calm, considerate, without her this show would just be about bitchiness and awkwardly not knowing what to do or say, and trying to get something out of them is like trying to get blood out of a gnarly stone, So it’s very refreshing to see someone like Rocky. I’m actually surprised she didn’t get a spin-off deal, I’d of liked to know more about her, normal we wonder what happened to mean girls and why they’re mean, but I wonder what made Rocky so kind, could be just who she is or she was raised right, but maybe she got bullied or went through a rough time, and that encouraged her to be kind because she doesn’t want others to feel that way? Idk but I think she’s really interesting

Rewatching this season, Lexie just bugs me. I remember watching this during my teen years thinking how cool and beautiful she was - popular, a dancer, and had the affection of every guy on the show. Now, I find her personality very bland (could be due to not being comfortable on camera) and I feel like I totally missed how blatantly unkind she was towards Rocky and Tessa. Kyndra and Kami were the obvious “mean girls” of the show but I feel like Lexie is right up there with them with all the snide comments and grunts in every scene she’s in.

I personally found it painful to watch Rocky beg to be given a second chance. I don't see that she did anything wrong; her emotional maturity seemed to give way to an out-of-character desperation to sublimate herself to keep him when she didn't need to change herself. She was great to begin with. I never saw her pressure him-he seemed to be giving as much as he got. It just always pains me so much to see great girls apologize for the very things that make them great and pledge to change themselves to please guys who aren't worth it.

I feel for Rocky🥺 I remember how does “first love” feelings felt and how devastating feels when it didn’t work out . Now I’m way older and I feel like ouch, I wish my son never breaks up anyones heart 😢 In other news …I love this channels , the previously on the screviously, the Wednesday and Fridays premiers (with the unexpected changes 🤟🏼) I’m so happy of being here since the beginning.
