From what I was told, the beginning of this song is them bringing up political issues that are concerns in Japan. And the second part is them mocking how the media is ignoring those problems by only covering the winny upload issue (a music downloading site in japan).
In their live show, after that peak of insanity, when Nao the drummer comes front stage to sing that sweet melody, the crowd is in heaven. We absolutely loved her!

@@bannik1323 Winny was the major P2P pirating thing in Japan back in the early 2000s, and a lot of their stuff was probably pirated on it but yes, its kinda like saying "fuck napster" in 2020.
I think you missed a line after Daisuke asks the child if they agree when Nao says "No, no, no. She doesn't know what you're saying/understand you" or something to that effect.

Winny upload is like a big file sharing thing in Japan. How people steal music and they are saying to stop stealing music because that's money from the artist pocket
As per Wikipedia (the old reliable source for all human knowledge), Winny is a file sharing program that's no longer in development. The last stable release was in November '03. But, according to a June 2018 survey, a good many people said it was still the go-to P2P network in Japan.
The joke is that no body uses it anymore. Maximum the Ryo said he wanted to purposefully use something thats not relevant anymore so fans could replace the chant with something they wanted to stop. I believe the example he used was "Stop stop the nukes"
Remember Napster..yeah, Japan had Winny Upload. But after the outcry to stop illegal downloading came the accusations of sell out bands backing the big music conglom's...so MTH gave you some Awsome Metal then flipped the script by doing a crap sellout tune poking fun at all the sellout bands with bad lipsyncs calling for people to stop using Winny. The Joke, of corse, is that Winny Upload was already long dead so they were just wasting everybody's time! F**king Brilliant!!!!
it's a parody about that, it's not actually about stopping pirating of their music, they're more so saying that the media cares way too much about winny (popular pirating site in japan)
Since you seem to love MtH a lot (just watched all your reactions to them): I‘m a huge fan myself, but I have 2 absolute favorite Japanese Bands -> besides MtH you should check out AILIPH DOEPA. They just released 2 new albums mid December and both are a blast. „My Right Hand Thumb Is A Kraken“ is a good starting point. Or „Macchu Picchu“ (an older song and their most known one I‘d say). They‘re also very SOAD-like and even played a streaming gig during the first lockdown in 2020: One hour Ailiph Doepa playing System Of A Down songs. That was very awesome!
Did you get the wedding dress part? A Western 'Gaijin' producer seduces the group into selling out, i.e. 'The Marriage', and leads to the band into doing his bidding with bad lip sync'n and calling for the end to WinNy long after it was already dead!! And the eventual turmoil and depravity that follows!! LoL!!! Got to LOVE MTH!!!
As someone that played bass for a tribute band to this guys... At this point they just say fuck it and "let's do this stupid shit". But my god aren't they good? I recommend some other songs like "what's up people" and "buiiki kaesu". This last one the official video is unfortunately not on youtube anymore.
Also another factor for this band having such an unique sound, is that besides the SOAD influence, the bass player's biggest influence is Flea, from red hot chili peppers.
Ever check out Boris? They’re a Japanese Melvins worship doom metal trip band that also does hardcore punk, ambient, j-pop, electronic/rave, industrial, rock, this song, drone and harsh noise. Sonically, their live shows match Who/Manowar levels, but in small venues
I love maximum the hormone. Dir en grey is another Japanese metal band with weird music style . They inspired the metal and rock scene in Japan and loved by many Japanese people. The vocalist has one of the rarest and most impressive vocal range. React to their song blossoming beelzebub or vinushka.
I love this song and this band but holy shit I nearly pissed myself laughing at the anime winy part at the end because your reaction was exactly 1 to 1 mine when I first saw this many moons ago. My lungs hurt from laughing so hard. Thanks for that genuine reaction.
Even funnier, Winny died like a decade ago; They're making fun of rock bands who call for shutting down these long dead or irrelevant services IE it's a shot at Metallica
I like your reaction, u are being honest. Tbf, alien may not be the best introduction song for mth. But if u like it, u are going to love this band even more. Bizarre is not the best word to describe mth, it's fun. You need to check their earlier song first to understand their music. What's Up People and Zetsubou Billy might be a proper introduction.
Nice! It's all satire. The woman who appears in the second half, dancing with the guy, is actually the group's drummer, Nao. Funny bit of trivia: Miku of Band-Maid says this is one of her favorite groups to listen to when she's not working on her own stuff. Go figure...

At the time it was 100% ironic and from MTH's point of view very likely still is today. They even talk about it at the end of the song, how winny isn't even used anymore, so it's pointless to even mention it in the song. And yes, since signing with Warner, Warner is protecting their money any way they can, and they are way bigger than VAP, so that is why there's so many takedowns.
SpaceMonkeyEntertainment these labels taking down reaction videos is so dumb to me. It’s opened me up to soo much new (to me) music. If anything these videos are bringing new fans and revenue. I’ve bought ever album available in the states from these guys

You should react to the Korean rock band the Bursters. One of the few heavy metal bands in South Korean. Lost Child and Smell the rot are two of my favorite songs.
so they are an epic metal band . but a lot for their songs break in to another genres' . Not a music major but going "low to high". "fast to slow" is a thing. Then playing on the human brain we like all music for 30 to 45 secs ..before we" like it or not' ... For the Japanese part they are kinda stuck in a box I would think b/c their most popular songs are anime intro's or outro's
