When she said "how do you keep up with these boys? Do u not fall in love with every single one of them and then now you're like 'I have no life'?" FELT THAT- LITERALLY THATS WHAT IT IS GIRL 😭😂
Bts are literally the only group though where there has been almost no dating rumours lol, expect recently with Jennie and V or Jungkook🐸☕️ HYBE definitely pays Dispatch to not follow the boys lol
First of all, girl you are so pretty wtf? Second of all, if you struggle with recognizing them I suggest you go mainly by their voices, I find that they all have a very distinctive style of singing/rapping too: Taehyung is the vocalist with the deep voice and piercing eyes; RM is the tall rapper with the deep voice (you know him already, he's easily recognizeable); Jimin is the petite vocalist with the angelic high pitched voice and looks like a fairy king; Jungkook is the one with the most singing parts as a main vocalist and you will also find him mostly in the middle of the act, he has a soothing breathy voice and powerful moves; Jin is the tall and lean vocalist with cristalline voice, often sings high pitched parts too; Suga is the doll faced rapper that usually comes in rapping fast, he's pretty intense; J-hope is the rapper with heart shaped lips and the most melodic flow, main dancer, when he comes in the mood shifts idk what it is, it's just his magic ig. Don't worry, a few more videos and you will start recognizing the differences, as they all bring something unique to the performance.
This comment should be pinned at the very top! Their voices are all so distinct, it's hard to mix them up after a short while. And yes, she's very pretty and those glasses look so cool on her. I don't think I've ever seen glasses in this shape - they're stylish and quirky.
20:30 (taken from AI generator) The music video for BTS' "Blood, Sweat & Tears" contains various symbolic elements that can be interpreted in different ways. Here are some key themes and possible meanings behind the music video: Temptation and Desire: The music video portrays the members of BTS being tempted by various objects and experiences. This can represent the allure and seduction of desires, whether they be material, emotional, or personal ambitions. The video suggests that succumbing to temptation comes at a price. Loss of Innocence: Throughout the video, there are references to innocence and purity being corrupted. This can symbolize the transition from youth to adulthood and the associated loss of naivety. The members of BTS are seen encountering temptations and making choices that lead to their transformation. Knowledge and Awakening: The video incorporates imagery inspired by the story of Icarus from Greek mythology. Icarus flew too close to the sun, representing the pursuit of knowledge and the consequences that come with it. The music video suggests that seeking enlightenment and self-discovery can lead to both enlightenment and downfall. Dualities and Contrasts: The music video juxtaposes various contrasting elements, such as light and darkness, good and evil, pleasure and pain. This can represent the complexities and contradictions of life, as well as the internal struggles individuals face in navigating these opposing forces. Artistic and Cultural References: The music video draws inspiration from various works of art, literature, and cultural references. This includes references to paintings such as "The Fall of the Rebel Angels" by Pieter Bruegel the Elder and "The Birth of Venus" by Sandro Botticelli. These references add layers of depth and meaning to the overall narrative. It's important to note that interpretations of the music video may vary, as BTS often encourages their fans to derive personal meanings from their work. The visual symbolism and storytelling in "Blood, Sweat & Tears" allow for individual interpretations and reflections based on personal experiences and perspectives.
I get wanting to learn korean for them bc translators often say they dont know how to do the lyrics justice, theyre so poetic Also guy with the pink hair in blood sweat and tears is Jin! He was a film major/wanted to be an actor so hes usually the main character in their storyline mvs
loved this reaction but i totally recommend you watch some of their live performances you're gonna love seeing them interact and have fun with their performance!! i recommend their Tiny Desk Concert and the BTS ROOM LIVE from 2021, they're super fun!
Honestly, for blood sweat and tears I tried to understand everything on my own, I even read "Demian" (the music video, the song and the entire album are inspired on that book) and still needed to find a youtube explanation of all the symbolism (there are just sooo many). It is a work of art, a masterpiece when you understand all of the symbolism in the MV. As a baby army (and honestly for a long time after) I was so confused watching the music video. Also, I laughed because the minute you said "ohh they are actors too" and it showed Jin I was in my head like "well he is in fact a college graduated actor jaja" Also for the members, dont worry on confusing them. There is a lot of jokes on twitter on how common it is to confuse the members in the beginning (I am terrible with faces myself so, it took a bunch of videos to get it jajaj). Once you start noticing the differences in style (like their voice, rap, dancing, etc) for each member it becomes easy (some say microphone colors are the way to differentiate them, but those end up changing too eventually). Honestly, I think I ended up learning who each member was watching run bts (their own variety show, which is awesome, specially when eating for some reason). I hope you enjoy the Bangtan journey.
Dont worry if you can't tell them apart right away. If you look at their old dance practice videos from when they first debuted, the guys had to wear shirts with their names on them because even the camera crew and staff couldn't tell who was who. LOL. The fact they were always changing hair colors didn't help. The commenter above who suggested learning their voices had a good point. Their voices are very distinct from each other and once you can recognize their voices it's easy. Also, whenever one of them sings or raps, they move to the center of the dance formation so that helps too.
So you know RM already 💜🎉 V is also someone who caught you attention, he was the one who you called pretty boy at the beginning of DNA and you talked about how he looked at you in 06:06 and the way he licked his lips on blood sweat and tears 🤣🤣😭😭😭 Taejoon combo is very very popular with black ARMY 💜💖💖 Taejoon = Taehyung (V) + Namjoon (RM).
it is easy to keep up because i do not care about any other artists but bts 😭 and they are already hard to keep up with, like this last month we have been getting new music in like every 1-2 weeks 😭 a song called the planet was literally released today
Jimin was the blonde hair one in DNA,Jin is the name of the one with the pink hair in blood sweat and tears and he’s the oldest ,Jungkook was the one at the beginning whistling in DNA,Jhope is the one with the orange ish yellow hair in Blood sweat and tears.Tae is the one you called Jimin in DNA(pretty boy) and the one that you asked if he licked his lips at you😂You already know Namjoon and he’s the second oldest and leader, And Suga(a.k.a Min Yoongi and August D) is the one that set the house on fire in Fake Love😩I hope this wasn’t a lot and was helpful to you. Also don’t worry about not knowing their names yet because you’ll eventually remember their faces and name the more you watch them so take your time💜💜💜
It's so fun watching someone new fall in love with our lovely men. RM was the first one I was able to recognize consistently, too. You're doing great! Before you know it, you'll be asking yourself how you could possibly mix them up, because you will get to know them as wonderfully distinct individuals. Enjoy the journey!
i would love if you could react to each of their albums separately both as groups but also their individual albums too. taking them from the very first to their newest youll see how much they have improved and how many music genres they have. some of them being rap, hip hop, ballad, latin pop, EDM, R&B , pop, fank rap , emo rock, urban, dance pop, moombahton trap, country, fank etc.
FOR SOME BTS DEEP CUTS WITH A HIPHOP & RNB VIBE: Paradise, Black Swan, HOME, Closer (by RM), 134340, Tomorrow, Anpanman, Autumn Leaves, Just One Day, Like, Hip Hop Phile, Rain, Let Me Know, House of Cards (Full Version), Serendipity, Singularity and Trivia: Love!! 💜💙
for idol's defence: it has so much of green screen and stuff here and there flying through our faces because bts was getting a lot of hate comments for using green screen in their previous videos even though they were not using it that much so it was like a slap that " I'm gonna do what I want and imma do me so u see yourself'. Haters were like k-pop uses only green screen so we're going to go way overboard with it when BTS are known to use practical effects whenever possible. Haters talked shit about any of the boys wearing glasses because they look "ugly" so Tae's wearing them. 8:26 Jimin has been criticized by haters for being “too feminine,” so here he sings in falsetto and dances with a fan used in buchaechum, a Korean fan dance traditionally performed by women. even in rm's verse in the beginning u would have seen he had filters on him like funny ones so again he got hate for putting on filters previously and here rm showed the haters that where they belong. Haters were like They're too "westernized" and selling out of their culture but Idol is full of Korean touches like the bunny in the moon, their cultural clothing and buildings
It is fine, we all take time to recognize them i mean they are 7, and yes they can have relationships but they don't talk about it since they are very private about these kind of things and the korean media industry is kinda crazy about idols having relationships so is kind of difficult for them to bring it to public or talk about it, but when it come to songs they don't bother. And also i can't wai till you start with the live performances 💜
Their songs connect telling a long term story in this part of their carrer. You need to watch in order to follow it. Eventually you'll see their messages. Welcome to ARMY life!😊👍❤️
Don’t worry about not knowing things. You have 10 years of content. We will help you along the way. ARMY is very supportive of anyone wanting to know info.
They have always kept their love lives private so we don’t know for sure, but I get what you mean. A lot of their songs about relationships in general are so heart wrenching and that’s what makes it beautiful
4:10 lmao once you go down the rabbit hole it's much easier to recognise them, and abt seventeen, I only stan BTS but let me tell you, seventeen are so talented I honestly like all the groups from the hybe ent (BTS's label) they're all so talented
Blood sweat and tears it was actually trending on tiktok months ago or last year idk but I guess that’s the reason why you found it familiar and actually it’s also so famous before but yeah
4:10-4:16 Yesss 😂 I have biggg heart that's why I love Stray Kids, BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, GOT7, EXO, MONSTA X, The Rose, XH yeah... that is love for life ❤🔥
The way that helped me learn all their names and recognize when they sing is to listen to solo songs. They each have their one unique voice and style but mix so well together as a group. I recommend: RM-still life, Jin-epiphany, Suga - Daechwita, J-Hope - equal=sign, Jimin-serendipity, V-singularity, and Jungkook-begin (or still with you in his v-live bc glorious vocals) :)
honestly her asking if jungkook was yoongi in the first part of dna was so real because i genuinely struggled to tell them apart when i first got into bts😭😭
DNA came out in 2017, Fake love came out in early 2018, Blood Sweat & Tears came out in 2016 and Idol came out in late 2018. Also, their MVs tend to not have CGI if they can help it, like obviously DNA does, but the water, fire and falling floor in Fake Love weren't CGI. You should also watch the MVs that are part of the BU (BTS Universe) storyline. I Need U, Run, Epilogue: Young Forever, the short films for their WINGS solos (Begin by Jungkook, Lie by Jimin, Stigma by V, First Love by Suga, Reflection by RM, MAMA by j-hope and Awake by Jin), Fake Love MV Extended Ver, Butterfly Prologue Mix (that one is more of a short film than a MV so you'll have to listen to the full song separately), Euphoria by Jungkook (same as Butterfly), and tbh I don't even remember everything else rn, but I'm sure someone will be able to add the rest in replies. Make sure to also watch some of their live performances, especially the ones for Korean award shows (MAMA and MMA), I promise they're 100% worth it. Some funny compilations would also help you with figuring out their personalities and it'll help you remember them.
I think not only BTS songs would do good at raves, parties and festivals but kpop in general, the music is so catchy and it’s easy to party to, I wish more festivals invited kpop groups 😫
The fact is- the fake love they are talking about are about themselves not loving themselves. Not romance, more so it’s about loving yourself and being true to yourself
OKAY for Blood Sweat & Tears: The reason you feel you've heard of the melody might be because it was trending on tiktok, I think about a year ago. Someone took the vocals, sped them up and put the instrumental of Streets by Doja Cat in the background. Then there was a viral dance where people would move their hips in circles (I think it was of African descent). So yeah, you might have seen these videos and recognised the melody of bs&t.
if you notice the words "save me" that's one of their song also and if you flip it, it's says "im fine" which is the sequence of the song save me. 😊 do check it out, it's also good songs. 😊😊
When you wanted to learn the relationship gossip of the members...honey that's the second stage, I am gonna patiently wait till you find out about the dating theories of members with each other
Don't worry guys, I am not type of a person who actually believes in those theories and judge/hate everyone who disagrees. But I remember the first time I've heard these ships, and mind blowed by them cause I wasn't expecting. So, like I said don't worry, I am just saying that cause I would love to see her react 🤣
9:45 fun fact, almost none of the 'fake love' video is CG! jungkook really did run through a falling floor like that, suga really did stay in a room with fire exploding, jimin really did stand in a room with water flooding it, and jin really did stand in a room with an explosion bursting through the windows! it's unbelieveable!
Ok so for the part where the member (Jin) kisses the statue, the key part is the statue's wings. Since the album is called "Wings" the main message of the album "Contains songs about boys who encounter temptation for the first time and must ponder and agonize in the face of it." To explain the kiss, "...this might connect with 'Demian'. In the last chapter of the book we witness a kiss as Sinclair parts with his mentor Demian, who we learn is a part of Sinclair himself, and not a real person. In this scene, when Demian reveals that he resides within Sinclair, he tells Sinclair: "'Frau Eva said that if ever you were in a bad way I was to give you a kiss from her that she sends by me...Close your eyes Sinclair!' I closed my eyes in obedience. I felt a light kiss on my lips where there was always a little fresh blood which would never go away. This is Jin, acting as Demian (on behalf of Frau Eva) and kisses the statue (Sinclair, who might also be V)." In a more religious standpoint, many have assumed, "....pointed out to me that Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss. Remember a little earlier at the supper when I said that Jin was like Jesus and V was like Judas? What if this comparison goes deeper? Judas identifies Jesus for the soldiers who searched for him by means of a kiss, and hereby betrayed Jesus - with a kiss. What if Jin here identifies V as the winged and fallen Icarus by means of a kiss, in the same way Judas identified Jesus?" ~Hope this helps
Almost all of them can play an instrument: Suga - piano, guitar, drums - he's the one with the most knowledge in music theory and plays at an advanced level, specially piano V - saxophone, trumpet, violin, piano - he's really good at saxophone, is a beginner to intermediate at piano, and began to learn trumpet and violin in recent years Jimin and Jin - piano, guitar - they can play at a beginner to intermediate level Jungkook - guitar, drums - intermediate level RM and J-Hope - they don't seem interested in learning instruments but they are producers, so they can easily work on keys to make music In fact, all of them produce and write music but Suga's the renowned producer in the group and RM is credited as songwriter in 99% of their music.
Bottomline they are fiercely protective of their personal lives. And most ARMYs are very protective of their (BTS’) personal lives. Most of us won’t speculate and create rumors. However, the South Korean outlook towards the LBGT+ community has shifted dramatically in the last 10 years. IMO BTS has played a role in that.
Girl, you are so pretty and precious. I just watched your first video and I'm in love with your content. I love the way that you are sooo expressive and I love your vibe! Keep doing videos, we love you babeeeeee 🤍
u know the part in fake love where ur dear gothic suga is sitting in a room of fire ,its reference to bts universe story where suga k.lls himself by burning a motel room with fuel
Welcome to the family ❤❤ you will never be the same again…prepare yourself and no they are not in any relationships. The water and fire in fake love are real too
Blood sweat in tears sounds so familiar because there was a remix that was streets by Dona cat mixed with it that got popular on TikTok a few years ago
The fact that you watched all these 3 music videos in the albums' chronology T^T These three songs are the title songs of their Album Trilogy Love Yourself. DNA from "Love Yourself: HER"(love seems like fate & you do everything in your power for it/them), Fake Love from "Love Yourself: TEAR"(you start sacrificing yourself to keep the relationship and lose yourself) and Idol from Love Yourself: ANSWER(you realise you can't love someone until you love yourself first because the journey of love starts from oneself). This is just the tip of the album, and the album's meaning has much more layers. Oh, also, Blood, Sweat and Tears is from their album "WINGS" and is mostly about falling into Temptation and Despair and DUalities and Knowledge and stuff. It has a heavy symbolic meaning. The whole album is very deep as well. It was inspired by a book named "Damien" by Hermann Hesse, published in 1919. This might give a clue of how meaningful their lyrics actually are. Hope it helped! Also, don't be afraid to give genuine opinions about whatever you may feel about a song. We appreciate when reactors are genuine.
These are definitely not the first ones I would’ve recommended, more of a third watch, but glad you liked them! I would’ve said probably Mic Drop, Fire, Dope and Run BTS
The thing that helped me the most with identifying the guys in the very beginning was watching lyric videos and figuring out which voice tamber belonged to who. Getting to know their individual personalities helped tremendously too.
Omg, I love how you refer to Suga as "Goth Bae" 🤗 I grew up as an angsty emo goth punk, and NEVER would have expected to fall for BTS, but when I fell I fell hard. The music may be different from the rock I always listened to, but the emotions are so much deeper than other pop I've ever heard. I've been to both a BTS show and Suga's solo concert a month ago, and at the BTS show ARMY was all dressed bright and vibrant; at Yoongi's show, it was all black and fishnets and platform combat boots and piercings. He is 100% my little Goth Bae 🔥🔥🔥
You’re soooo going to fall in love with each and everyone of the members at one point your first phase is the “RM” phase which you are in now. Girlll there’s so much you need to react and dive into plus watch their interviews so you can see their personalities my fav was the carpool Kareoke with James Corden 🫶🏾
omg you should watch their live performances next since you love their energy so much they're So So fun !!! Also you had this smile everytime you saw RM (namjoon) on screen and talked about him it's super cute 🥺🥰
2:04 ...his centerniss, mister jungkook bunny 2:14 ...no 2:37 ...no, but vmin are pretty boys for sure 2:41 ...yes, thank you 3:06 ...yes, love the hype 3:19 ...A+ 3:59 ...wait until you meet nct (23 boys and counting) 4:12 ...yeah pretty much 4:37 ...yes 5:00 ...yes 6:09 ...his visualness, mister v baritone/saxophone 9:51 ...not officially 11:14 ...no 11:41 ...his vocalness, mister jungkook banana milk 14:19 ...yes (see hwarang) 15:35 ...see fan-made lyric videos 16:42 ...in certain contexts, yes (also means a lot/very much, another translation of the sentence in question could be i really really really really want it) 17:55 ...yes 18:37 ...yes 19:00 ...yes 19:14 ...his militariness, mister worldwide handsome jin 19:57 ...yes 20:12 ...i could tell you, but it'd be longwinded and wouldn't make heck of sense, but basically they have a storyline 20:48 ...no, it's because of the multiverse, lol 21:00 ...nicki's a feature babe 24:18 ...yes how'd i spend an hour on this one comment when i can't even spend 5 minutes on my schoolwork without getting up and going somewhere
omg i was waiting for you and don't worry I used to struggle with the members names and faces Next you should these BTS songs : - Black swan - Airplane pt 2 - Mic drop - Not today - Spring day - Dope - Save me - Fire
Don't worry about not knowing them. And here is a tip. ARMY's LOVE to watch reactions to BTS documentaries. So both you and us will have more content, it's a win-win situation.
Don't worry, it's just a matter of time before you can correctly recognize each one of them ^^ It took me approximately 3 months. One thing that helps to recognize them is watching their variety show called "Run BTS" or at least that helped me 😅
girl, you're the same as me! when i first got into bts, rm was the one that i knew RIGHT AWAY. i ended up gravitating to him the most and he's now my ult bias (but also... ot7 bias right here).
Bts 👑💜 there are so many other good groups as well if you really want to emerge yourself. For example, TxT, Stray Kids, Enhypen, Twice, Stayc and Itzy. There’s so many more but it’s a start.
I know you've literally ONLY just discovered bts, but when u mentioned afrobeats, i immediately thought of tinnitus by TXT (a 5 member kpop group under the same label as bts). I definitely recommend, although theres no music video, so the live performance or a lyric video would be best
The guys based their discography on a book called Demian, so most of their videos are within the universe they created and each video has references to the book and also references to Carl jung's map of the soul. Herman Hesse (Demian's writer) was heavily inspired by Jung's analytical psychology, so Bts videos tell a story from various perspectives, but the most important thing is the symbologies, if you understand these, it's much easier to interpret much of it. of the videos. I hope you like guys a lot, I liked how genuine you are. new subscriber
I'm also quite new to Army. My best advice on learning who's who is to watch Taylor's introduction video a few times. She did a good job with each. Also, Run BTS- their show repeatedly mentions their names while they are on the screen.
Getting into BTS has never made me study so hard! They take you down a rabbit hole and you're looking up the meanings to grasp every concept and story in their songs and music videos, from Greek methodology, Jungarian theory, psychological aspects, artworks, social economics, etc... you'll be doing more homework than you did in school! 😅
Seventeen! Yes!! They are such a good band with great music, there are so many bands you should listen to and Kpop lovers it's an amazing and big world with lots of great music (txt, ateez, enhypen ,stray kids, ikon, and so much more)
When I first found BTS or should I say they found me, I made a cheat sheet, I printed out a group picture and labeled each member then taped it to the back of the book I brought to work with me each day! I still have the pic. But now it's taped in my journal. 💙💜💜💜💜💜💜🐋
Thank you for your reaction❤ Yes, you said correctly about the group Seventeen, they are very talented guys, the kings of synchronization. They recently released an album, I advise you to watch the clip "hot" you will like it ❤
Jin is oldest- 30 Suga is 2nd oldest- 30 Jhope is 3d oldest - 28 Rm is 4th oldest member 28 Jimin is 5th oldest - 27 V is 6th oldest member - 27 Jungkook is the youngest one - 25
I would like to suggest "Truth Untold", "Black Swan", Life Goes On, also Spring Day explained, which will make you cry, "Dope" for the dance. "Mic Drop" SNL version. Also their tiny desk concert.
I'm also new here and started listen to kpop again since last month after many years (I used to listen to it many years ago like in 2011/2012). Also had some problems to remember their faces in those videos. Now I definitely could remember all the faces of the members of GOT7 and also most of the BTS members. It's not that easy with their different styles, but you will be better, if you seen more videos of them, maybe not just music videos. I also love BTS, but I would love it, if you would also reacting to GOT7. They're also so super talented with a big fandom. It's also a boygroup with 7 members and they're also close with BTS. Good songs to reacting would be: Not by the moon, You calling my name, Hard Carry, Never ever, Eclipse, You are.
There was a trend on tiktok with blood sweat and tears that went viral, perhaps that’s why it sounded familiar to you! Everyone was doing the trend without knowing that it’s a bts song
There's so much in Fake Love you may not understand. 1. Sandcastles are a common theme, as well as blue flowers in BTS discography. As part of choreo, they each cover their mouth, eyes and ears - read into what you will. And towards the end, on the window, is written Save Me. But upside down, it will say, I'm fine. It appears on other BTS videos. Not only are their lyrics really deep, but so are the mvs. It takes some work and is part of the fun of exploring BTS. This is just a taste.
