i think this video was so popular was because it’s so real, it’s so raw. there’s so much perfected, filtered content on youtube that where everything looks and sounds perfect. when you hear the crisps bag and the background noises, it’s almost like you’re really there with her.

the reason ur unique isn’t bc your super pretty (which is true)or the camera quality is great, it’s that you’re so honest

I think the most amazing transformation I’ve witnessed from this whole journey is watching your Personality blossom. I remember watching your first videos and thinking how quiet, sad, and how little you let your presence take up in the space around you. I’m so happy this journey has allowed not only people to get to know you but to watch YOU get to know YOU. The loud, silly and creative you! I love to see it! sending you the tightest hugs. Keep blossoming 🌱xx

The most striking difference to me is in your eyes. Your eyes have become so bright and full of life now! Your skin and hair are also completely different now, brighter skin and fuller hair! I’ve recently relapsed due to a huge stress in my life, so come back to your channel to feel inspired to recover. 31 years I’ve had an eating disorder. I just want a life and some damn energy. I’m so tired all the time. It’s frustrating. I’m on the waiting list for trauma therapy for complex PTSD, if I lose any weight I’ll be taken off the list. I can’t let that happen, thanks for inspiring to try again ❤

@@spookydid thank you 🙏 it is completely messed up. Apparently it’s because if weight is too low the brain can’t handle the intensity of trauma therapy. I do get it but to not have any support for the next 6 months is going to be hard 🫤

A video on committing to recovery even when weight gain is not such a priority anymore would be really helpful. Now that I'm a 'healthy weight' I do find it harder to justify sticking to my meal plan when I don't have the mantra 'I need to gain weight' to fall back on. x

If you can, you need to change the voice to : i want to take care of my body, i want to enjoy life to the fullest, a car can't drive without petrol and so can't i, my appareance doesn't define me. Also is this a stage in recovory to let go of your mealplan a little ans try to eat the things you want at that moment, and then dont listen to what the ED whants (lower calorie, light, less, etcetera)

Your hair is so much shinier and fluffier now! You're absolutely glowing with health. Your skin and eyes are so much brighter, too. Congratulations on your recovery, you've done fantastic work! You're truly an inspiration, ups and downs included. You've provided such an honest and refreshing take on recovery and shone a bright light for others at the end of the tunnel. We started recovery at a similar time and your videos made me feel less alone, and made scary meal times much more manageable having someone "there with me". Thank you for what you do. Also, your personality was already showing in that first video and that is why it took off. And because you were brave enough to show your inner struggle to help others understand those who suffer from eds better. So proud of you Ro! 💞 I too understand the hardships of ed recovery. Even though I also get ed thoughts from time to time, Ive conquered nearly all my fear foods. I can finally eat freely, which makes recovery SO worth it. These days I find myself feeling nostalgic and grieving for the girl I was before my ed, before it took away my identity. I don’t know why, but does anyone else relate? It’s hard to accept that the past me is no longer me, and that in order to move on, I should treat this as a loss. What should I do? Should I grow and become a new version of myself,or is my past self still here?

Eating disorders really do rob us of ourselves. I look back on my recovery insta and the photos, videos, and food pics from when I was so ingrained in my ed I genuinely don’t recognize myself because I wasn’t myself, I was in the depths of my ed and I lost all of what made me me. My newer posts might be less “perfect” and “regimented” but I am so much more free and happy. I have followed you since day one and it has been so amazing to see your growth! this insane to watch now. i remember being there for those early on videos and just hoping for the best for you. now here we are, your personality is back, you look happy and genuine and you also eat all these foods with ease now. i didn’t realize how truly not okay you were in that video back then because i didn’t get to see the kind of person you really were until now! it’s a beautiful thing, watching you grow on this channel 🥹🫶🏻

this made me go and look back at some of my old, private videos I recorded when I was at my worst. It’s really eye opening to see, how far I’ve come - and I’m so thankful for trusting the process. Thanks for reminding me to keep fighting Ro ❤️❤️

i subbed to you when you posted your very first video! i loved you (and i think others did too) because you were so authentic and kind, and comforting in an odd way? although i’ve never struggled with a legitimate eating disorder, something about watching you and supporting your journey felt like i was supporting a friend. and with every video, as you got a little step farther and celebrated your little wins, i felt like i could celebrate mine too, and you gave me so much hope and still do. it’s incredible to see how far you’ve come.

You were pretty regardless of your illness but girl you're glowing right now! and don't take it the wrong way but your features fit more accurately on your face now. You look like a fairy and it's so incredible to see how far you have come in your recovery already!

I love your early videos. You are so real and so forthright in them- you were desperate to recover by any means necessary and I truly believe that’s what resonated with so many people. 💜

tonight will mark 3 weeks since i decided to go all in. tomorrow i start college and i’m so thankful for you ro because i truly don’t think i would’ve had the courage to begin recovery and challenge myself the amount i do without your content, and i don’t know how i’d be able to get through college while being sick. truly thank you!! :]
