@@EllieThomas-yg7zr its a bit hard to see on the pic but we modified the ramp to make it easier for the piggies to walk up it 😊 if our pigs were to show signs of pain we would definitely change the setup to accommodate but we've never had any issues.
3:05 (cage 2) Thats my sisters cage 😊 she is very happy you took the time to review her cage and my dad was happy you complimented his shed 😂 they are very spoilt piggies but have a good life.
i’m from the uk and the temperature range is about the same as the US people don’t seem to understand that it does get quite hot in the uk during summertime as well. a few years back we had a heatwave that went up to 42C which is 107F but it usually gets up to around 35C at the highest which is 95F. the uk isn’t just rain and gloom (although june this year was around 10-15C which is 50-59F because of arctic wind - a very disappointing birthday for me as there was a giant thunderstorm).
I woke up this morning, fed my guinea pig and about 20 min later I came back to his bio brother freaking out because Timmy was laying, passed away. I don't know how to feel. I haven't dealt with this before. I held his beautiful limp body and just looked at him forever before taking my 6 yr old and her father to the back yard to give him a proper burial. My daughter brought flowers to lay on him :'( I am so sad! And Timmy's brother, Jimmy is so lost without him, he keeps wheeking
@@autumngrace. yeah it’s too hot for some of us to handle as we’re not really used to it haha. It can get quite humid yeah, it has been for the last few weeks at least 😆
English summers are awful, if u don’t experience the heat u won’t get it , it’s because out summers can be really hit one day and then cold the next but make no mistake the sun is evil
Oh ours can be like that too 😭 especially in my state the weather is so back and forth. it’s been in the 90sF here for weeks it’s awful. I think that’s like 33C??
Don’t worry! The ramp is extremely gradual and will be removed next month for their second birthday. I will then Switch to a single story 6ft and it will be I think double what they need as one of the three sows has passed away now sadly. 😢
I was going to say the same exact thing about cage #6. You don't know if the Easter basket is made with non-toxic dye or what kind of wood it is if they chew on it. It could make them sick. You should only put in things that you know what they are made of because piggies will chew on everything!
There are some pigs who wouldn't care and some who would. A rescue in my state did something cool with pet safe paint where they let the piggies walk over a canvas with the paint! I've never dyed their hair and don't plan to, but I have a few pigs who are pretty chill and i don't think it would bother them.
Is the dye from the raindow tunnel? My white piggy is always getting a blue bum from that particular piece 😅 Sleeps inside must pee and the colour transfers😆
Hi! You reviewed my piggies cage In a vid before but we've since upgraded and added 2 more pigs😂 would it be ok to send in another Pic for a future vid?
Does anyone else have this same problem with their parents and YOUR pets? My parents never listen to the years of hyper fixation and research i have when talking about my rabbits needs saying “hes very happy” and “we cant afford that” ext. and when i say that he cant be outside in those conditions, being cold, very hot ext. they say “he will be fine” I might sound dramatic but its been an ongoing issue and its gotten to the point where we cant talk about it without storming off and slamming doors. Ive even lost three pets to bad conditions maybe not the worst but not very good including my captive bred rabbit when i was little and two Guinea pigs that died from the cold when i was little now i have a wild rabbit that should have died a while ago but he hasnt which is sus 😅 he is four years old and if you dont know, wild rabbits last 2 years in the wild and wild rabbits in captivity last even shorter so hes very lucky VERY. Now i want two Guinea pigs again since im now fourteen not eight and inside in the correct conditions ext. any advice would be amazing ❤
Yes my parents were the same at first but luckily they totally agree with me now! I’m cage #2 btw. Let your parents know surviving NEVER means thriving. Sometimes abused animals are more likely to live longer than well cared for animals as their drive to keep going keeps them alive.
I’m hoping to put up mine when I get the new cage!! I only have one piggie because my parents won’t let me get another, I’m hoping to get Luffy a friend for Christmas!
Hi there Autumn, number 6, thanks so much for reviewing my guineas cages. I don't use the Easter basket. I've thought about changing their pellets I just worry about upsetting their tummys, do you have any suggestion for transitioning to a healthier food? Thanks so much for the tips on were to find some good toys, would have never thought to look on Etsy.
Since pellets are such a small part of their diet (only 1-2 tablespoons a day) I don’t personally think you run the risk of upsetting their stomachs. I’d have them go cold turkey for a few days and stop the old pellet, then slowly introduce the new one. Since your current pellet is so “junk food” like, if you mix them they may ignore the new one. So better to stop completely before staring the new pellet!
Hi!! I have 2 male guinea pigs and 1 Syrian hamster whose cage sits on a table above my Guinea pig cage. In the future I’m thinking of getting 2 girl guinea pigs. If I kept the girl piggies in a table top diy cage above the boys would that be ok. Or would their scents stress the boys out? Would I be best to get 2 more boys? Please reply Lv your channel 😊
Cage #10 was my cage! I can’t believe I got in one of your videos I have female pigs now also in a large cage, and 1 new male have expanded to a great size and got more toys and took all your tips! Tysm! ❤❤❤
