NCT was making "noise" music when it wasn't cool and now every other group is doing the same. I loved their "noise" music since the beginning, Chain is one of my favorite songs by them and a lot of people were very put off by that song but now it seems like that loudness is the trend. 👀 This always happens with sm groups, so we've been knew.

SM’s instrumentals never seem to disappoint honestly. The production on all their tracks is *chefs kiss* Also the one you liked in FireTruck and Limitless (red hat) is Yuta. He’s SM’s first Japanese artist and honestly a very talented man. He didn’t sing a lot in NCT’s earlier music, but in the past 2.5 years SM has been letting him sing more. He actually entered SM for his vocals and he hasn’t disappointed. He’s also a very good dancer. He’s a man that really is open minded and also a little sassy. Apparently people find his looks intimidating, but he never seems to notice or understand why LOL. He’s also really funny tbh and messes with the members by lying about ridiculous things which some of them still fall for to this day. Basically stan Yuta

Never mind the haters, NCT knows that they calling them noises, they literally have a song where they say "NCT noise, you can't break me" it's "simon says" where they just do what they do better make a music that only good listeners would enjoy I'm down to any type of music as long as it's experimental and beautiful and that's what's NCT

It's really complicated with NCT, normally i love all NCT U songs but when it come to other units its different. I hated limitless at first, but now it's my favourite song of all NCT discography. And we all hated the hairstyles in limitless. Still they're my favourite SM group, they have amazing and interesting, unique songs and they're so talented

nct 127's most vocally-centric title tracks are probably highway to heaven, superhuman, and touch! their bsides ALWAYS deliver on vocals, but i think in terms of title tracks nct 127 is the most rap-centric "hype" subunit of nct haha

I agree with you. Many people said that NCT's music is full of noise or just noise. It is maybe hard to listen at first, but if you continue to listen to their songs, it's like they are pulling you and without knowing, you already like their songs. NCT's not the only group, there's Red Velvet. SM is really ahead in terms of their artists concept and sound. That's why I stan these dorks ❤️

NCT-127's "Limitless" is also part of their dream concept. Everything NCT does is connected to their concept which is all centered around dreams, dreaming or being in a dream state and it is also thought to be connected to EXO and SuperM's storyline. All of NCT's MVs are based on that dream concept. I think the feel you get from the MV is actually really the feel of being trapped in a dream and being in that foggy reality, in an in between state, when you are half in and half out of a dream. All of what you see happening is happening within a dream. What you just watched was the performance version of "Limitless" so you heard the song in Korean. There is no story because it is meant to just show off the choreography. But if you watch the regular MV, which has more of a storyline, you will hear the song in Japanese. "Limitless" is one of NCT-127's Japanese songs. The vocal lineup and choreography is a little different in the Japanese version, because, for one, it features NCT-127's Japanese member Yuta slightly more prominently. Fun fact: "Limitless" came out in January 2017 and it's Johnny's official debut in NCT and Doyoung's debut as a member of NCT-127 (Doyoung first debuted in "The 7th Sense" as a member of NCT-U, but he was not part of NCT-127's debut). So now NCT-127 has 9 members at this point. Johnny -- the one in the Rangers jersey -- is Korean-American and he was born and raised in Chicago. Fun fact: The term for what Taeyong does with his voice in "Limitless" is called a vocal fry. It is an actual singing technique.There is no computerization of his voice. A vocal fry uses the lowest register of the voice to vibrate the vocal cords while speaking or singing. Taeyong has a full range when it comes to singing and rapping and it's one of the reasons why he gets so many lines in NCT and SuperM songs because they can do so much with his voice.

NCT's concept is based on dreams and dreaming. So most of what they do has something to do with some aspect of dreaming or being in a dream state. So that is what I think you see being depicted in the "Fire Truck" MV --- It all has to do with a dream/fairytale. I kind of see it like Wendy from Peter Pan. The NCT members are kind of like Peter who never want to grow up and always want to stay young, and they are always around to protect Wendy. The girl in the MV is "Wendy". You see her as she grows up and goes through life and the NCT members are like guardian angels protecting her from all the "fires" (bad things) in her life. When you see them spray the hoses this is during a moment in "Wendy's" life where something bad or unpleasant is happening and the NCT members are trying to cleanse and fix the situation. But like Wendy, the girl realizes she has no choice but to grow up and go through those adult milestones. In the end you see her as an old woman and the girl you now see in the yard is "Wendy's" granddaughter. As controllers of dreams, NCT helps to change the narrative in "Wendy's" and her family's lives. "Fire Truck" came out in July 2016 and it is NCT-127's debut and when they debuted they only had 7 members.The members of NCT who were in the"Fire Truck" MV are Taeyong, Mark and Jaehyun (who all also debuted as part of NCT-U with "The 7th Sense" in April 2016), along with new additions Taeil, Yuta (one of NCT's native Japanese members), Winwin (who is Chinese) and Haechan. WinWin is trained in traditional Chinese dance, so he was the one you saw do the flip in "Fire Truck's" routine. WinWin debuted in NCT-127 while he was waiting for SM to figure out a way for the Chinese sub-unit to debut. So he is also a regular member of NCT-127, (you will see him in all of NCT-127's MVs and performances until 2019 when WayV debuted. Now he is busy promoting with WayV and he has not participated in any of NCT-127 activities since then. NCT-127 will add 3 more members over the next couple of MVs. Nct is already at the top of the game since their debut. Their songs are experimental but that's what made them unique and different from other groups out there except for the fact that they are very talented and their visuals are topnotch. The guy you always point out handsome is Yuta, he's the main dancer and vocalist of the group.

i definitely agree with you on taeyong's voice--something about it is so visceral and in-your-face. i always love his verses. if you continue to check out nct, they have a series on their channel where they show the process of them recording inside the studio (called "The Uncuts," i think?) that is really interesting, especially for taeyong you can see that he is in total control of his sound and often works with the producers to deliver the lines in interesting ways. he's a great artist for sure. another great video! looking forward to seeing your journey with nct!

He is a member of WayV and he was/is?? a member of 127. Nobody knows why he is inactive in that group (probably because SM does Winwin dirty every single time). Winwin majored in traditional Chinese dancing. Winwin and Ten made their own choreography to Billie Eilish's song 'lovely'. You should check it out, it is a m a z i n g.

After a 4 year absence from kpop this group got my attention again. I couldn't get enough of this performance and went on a search to learn about them.. even their clothes are different from past and current kpop. They push the boundaries in music and outfits keeping me interested. And indeed nctzens are the most spoiled fans anywhere because there's so much artistic talent all within the NCT concept. You want funny? We got comedians. You want actors? We got them(several being child actors). You want guitar, piano, flute, song writers, instrumental composers, angelic vocals, banging rappers, choreographers, DJ mixer..we got that. You want radio host, special guest, special tv shows, creativity, painters, custom clothieng designers, fashion trends setters, artist who know how to promote their own projects?
