I'm actually looking forward to try this. Something different! I think it should've been over 2 weeks though imo. Also Pickford should've been unlockable in the qualifiers

If our gameplay wasn't so trash I could play champs. My players stagger around like drunken geriatrics while my opponent is speed boosting all over the field. 😂 The server only allows me to play properly online for about two hours every 15 days or so. 😂

Played Qualifiers and my god using a gold keeper is such a pain in the ass

Love the objective. One weekend out of a whole cycle where you won’t see the same sweaty teams on repeat. Also - he’s OPTIONAL!! feel free to just not do it if you cba

In my opinion it should be a prem team as the rewards offer 2 prem players, and they should include the wins also from the qualifiers instead of just 12 in finals as most average players don’t even play until 11.

I bet you the next one is Argentina and thats why enzo is the final reward.

I feel like there should be a gamemode for only objectives (engeland squad) and normal fut champs

I do not know if this is a hot take or not, but every card SHOULD be obtainable. The reward for being "better" or "good" should be that you obtain things quicker, not getting fully exclusive content (that is actually gameplay, not cosmetic stuff like making a player a red). If a person who only plays squad battles wants this card and is not very good, there should be an avenue to get that. Even if it takes WEEKS, let them take weeks. Its a video game, its YOUR ultimate team. If someone wants a player, there should be an avenue to always get that player, even if it takes much longer than a better player.

Solution- Make a objective weekend league oppertunity, and a regular -and then Make the player choose beforehand if they wanna compete in one or the other 💁🏻‍♂️ could be a fun feature next year

I personally don’t mind this. It’s an optional challenge. People don’t have to try to get it. If you do try and struggle, it’s okay! It’s only 1 week of lesser rewards! By the time the next WL finishes, half the players that are in the red picks will have better cards anyway. I probably won’t be able to get this card, but damn I’m gonna try because it’s a different challenge than normal, standard weekends league. Like Nep said, it’s okay to reward the higher skilled players, even if you aren’t one of them ❤

EA should hire Nep to handle content every week. Pay the man 1 million pounds a week if necessary. And watch Nep criticize his own content everyday.

Personally I think it should have been a one nation FUT champs featuring an objective ladder for each participating Nation in the Euros. With a different player to Enzos standard in each ladder. That way the transfer market would have been more balanced and make it easier for everyone to compete. In my opinion.

It was really fun playing with my England team I’m currently 6-1. I do have a descent team. Just a shame I only played 1 person doing the objective.

I like that this Enzo isn't a participation trophy. Sure, it isn't ideal that you'll face opponents who don't use a full English team but at least there is something to actually have to grind for. I missed out on the Fekir because I had a bad weekend, so be it. At least I had something different to aim for in WL that weekend that wasn't the usual. Is it really that bad if someone is not good enough and they miss out on a card? I don't think so. People want this from friendlies or rivals with unlimited games, come on man. Just grind for something for once, and if you don't get it, it's not the end of the world. We always ask for different objectives, things to grind for. But shame on EA when they make it actually challenging....

I appreciate you making this video Nep. I originally thought you were being a bit selfish in yesterday's video, but I can understand why. I was also somewhat upset/selfish being a Chelsea fan that I would struggle to achieve this card. As a Chelsea fan and someone who loves football in general, Enzo is one of my favourite players and I was gassed when we signed him as I followed him from River Plate. I too fell into the trap of saving fodder for him thinking he'd be an SBC. I've now invested that fodder into cramming Joe Gomez to try to give myself the best possible chance of achieving him with a meta card I have no need doing otherwise (i have so many brilliant CBs) Your solutions make a lot of sense and I do hope they can make a change. I usually get 12-15 wins in champs with my normal team, so I'm not sure how I'll fair with an okay England team. Thank you for being rational and, way more often than not, a "for the people's" person in the fifa community. You look out for and consider the good the bad and the casual players when commenting on content etc. We appreciate it.

I love objectives like this personally. I also loved the first owners objectives for things like icon swaps. I don’t think things like this should ever be ‘easy’ for anyone. It also incentivises those who complete different SBCs or keep their red picks/evos. Rather than wasting them in SBCs to then waste those. If you can’t get it, just use your usual team and get your regular rewards. No harm done.

The issue for me is the time restriction for this obj. Enzo is my favorite player on my favorite team, and I won’t be able to get him because I’ll be on vacation during the champs window. This card should be available for all, even if that means players can achieve it at different time periods. The best players should be rewarded by unlocking this card early. The players who aren’t as good should still be able to unlock this card, even if it takes multiple weeks. I have been waiting for an Enzo card since December, and now the 1 week I’ll be away from the game I won’t be able to unlock him. I would’ve used him for the rest of the game cycle. Ea sports has lost another dedicated user.

Also Nep, I suck pretty much at the game and never get passed 11 wins at best. But I'm Argentinian and building and ARG squad since day 1. So I'd love to get that Enzo by using an only ARG team. I agree with "the better you play, the better rewards you should get", but come on EA, make it have sense at least. Love your content Nep ❤

It’s funny because I thought I’d test the England squad out last night in champs qualifiers, NOT A SINGLE opponent had an England squad. Everyone rocking their 97 messi’s etc… think I’ll just use my main squad this weekend.

If it had been 2 or 3 weeks, the objective would have been amazing. But putting it in 1 week just makes it unattainable for most of the playerbase

As a Chelsea fan I'd love enzo, but being a dad and having a life theres literally no chance of me getting him, as I just dont have the time, energy, skill or patience to get the wins required. Fair play to those that do I suppose 😊

I think based on the fact that so many players jumped in price it shows that there is a lot of interest from players to do this objective, I think it’ll be like a 50-50 split in terms of who you play

EA will probably say they put an Argie in on purpose, instead of saying it was a mistake and should have been an English player. They'll bring out a similar one next week with an Argie or Brazil one and have a French or England player at the end. They are highly incompetent

I liked it with Fekir and i like this one as well. Not every card has to be obtainable for every player. If you want that Enzo, go for it! If your not good enough, you don´t deserve it as hard as this sounds. In games like COD its like that for years. Not everyone is good enough to get the gold camo. Make some items special! Like these cards in previous Fifas where you had to win a cup to get some cards.

I do like the idea, issue is, not everyone plays champs. As well as that, people who do will come up against stacked teams of players not doing it (as Nep mentions). I'm admittedly dreadful at the game. I have nothing to play for, I wouldn't even make it to Pickford at 6 wins. I played champs years ago, genuinely had to stop because the stress was killing me. Adding stipulations that only certain people will have to follow, for people who struggle to get 6/12 wins, is going to be extremely stressful. It's June, just let us have fun. Give us a week to do it, let us do it in rivals, doesn't necessarily have to include squad battles. Just places unnecessary stress unless you're in the top like 2% of players. I don't even really agree with Nep's "incentivising you to get good at the game". I don't mean this as a dig, I don't earn a living from this game. This game used to be about having a laugh and beating your mates, now every single game is competitive. Casuals are not as good at the game, good players will complete these objectives in no time, casuals will take longer, you still benefit from being better

I like the idea in general as I do believe the better players should be rewarded. HOWEVER, why not give out some top England cards on loan to everybody for 20 games? That then incentivises the people on the fence about whether they want to go for Fernandez or not, and at the same time, the people who want to do it but can’t afford the top cards will get them for their weekend league run.

One thing i would like to see is objective players being for the following weeks objective team that way I can use them. I don’t wanna get 3 English players when I complete a full England team. I’m not gonna use them. I’m already done with the objective. Now I get that if you’re using a full English team weekly like the England RTG then that’s cool. But most don’t do that. I wanna be able to complete an objective using a full England team and getting 3 (example) Argentine players that I could use for the following weeks full Argentine objective. Makes objective players useful for at least 1 week and not just fodder. And let me get the initial batch of English players in a simple squad battles objective that I can then take into a full England objective

I think the idea of rewarding better players is more than fair. As discussed the issue lies in the game mode. Until there’s a specific game mode they should have added a friendly/cup mode and just capped the total number of games per person at 20 so that it’s effectively a 2nd champs specific to this objective. Would still reward the better players but removes the element of being disadvantaged by god teams.

I think this objective is great however I do think they should have given 2-3 good England players for wins on champs qualifiers just so you have some decent players for the main objective

People are complaining about this just because of FOMO. It was 13 to get Fekir, I din't saw anyone complain. Of course most of people didn't got him. But didn't matter, because everyone one can get better cards than this anyway. Same thing with Enzo. Sure it will be tough to get him, but does it matter if you can't? There's so many great CMs in the game nowadays. It's just nice to reward people that can get there with a potential 99 rated card that not anyone can have

what ea could of done here with is is add playoffs or in frendlies. for wins. or for finals or 6 and 12 wins just and win 6 or win 12 add win 6-12 or play 20 as well. and dd in frendlies duble the wins needed and also do the same with rivals

here's the thing nep, i'm going to play like an absolute rat to now because i'm being encouraged to horde my wins, it damages the community and the gameplay experience for everyone. we should all have the same chance despite skill level.

It’s funny I was hating on this when it released but after grinding a bit I now have a decent full English squad. Normally get 12-13 wins. So I’m hoping I can pull through 😂. When do you guys think will be the best time to play? I’m thinking playing straightaway might be the play. But maybe everyone will be waiting till the end of FUT champs for easy quits.

Gameplay is the main issue along with server my player feel slower than my opponent, player don't turn properly have bad touches can't do anything.

I’m an Everton fan who’s avoided champs because I just don’t have the time to sweat it out on the weekends. It’s just gonna be brutal for me. But I will be all in trying to get to 6

With rivals rewards I've just got to tsygankov but still we need more xp. Should make the weekend league just one nation, atleast everyone on a level playing field.

Nep is forgetting the fact that only sweats are playing the game now, everyone is backing out of games or only play if they have a complete rat team, so putting these objectives in Champs is a joke

I got 13 wins. But mistakenly had a non-england player in my sub for 2 of the wins. Missed out on Fernandez card. 😭😭😭

I feel like it would have been nice if it was at least in packs for people like that guy who likes Enzo so good players get a really solid guaranteed but other people can obtain it by paying (surely this would've made EA some money too?)

I disagree with you agreeing to keep Enzo or a “guaranteed reward” away from casuals or only for elite players. I disagree when it is one card. The whole point of Ultimate team is to play with your favorite players and create your dream team. EA have now taken that away if you are not a sweat. I would get on board if the higher the rank you got the higher guaranteed players you got in your player picks or something like that. But when you put one card behind a certain rank or win minimum you’re just taking the fun out of the game mode.. the little fun that is left. And then asking us to do it with a lesser team as well is just diabolical.

Just attempted this in qualifiers and it was beyond painful. Still going to try since I’m a Chelsea/Enzo fan but with everyone running 96/97 rated attackers with three PS+ it’s nearly impossible to play with a bad team

We should be able to use any nation we want as the one nation, seems like EA always want control - England prices to rise, others will fall. I built a full Spain team, going to use it anyways

I played Champs qualifiers with my English team (Somehow have a full useable team - 6 cards in my normal squad) and came up against 0 full English teams. I'm practising using the English team and can tell the defense and GK make me concede alot, Jude and Loftus-Cheek carries the midfield and Crouch evo & Sancho. Already completed the 11 plays (got a no loss dc) But need to play so ratty and meta. I hate playing like that. My best is 11 and I constantly get 9 wins. Pickford would probably be great but Fernandez won't be achievable. I think the rewards are fair but it shouldve been a full 11 English players and then bring anyone from the bench.

It would have mad it only games for Pickford not wins it would have put some people to get him before the start of champs ( i wouldn't i already qualified) but it would have made a bit more sense

No one is forcing people to use an England team. I really like having a bit of variety instead of using the same boring cards all the time. It made me get Sterling done last night and I've started Joe Gomez. I wish they would do it more often.

Everyone should have access to everything regardless of skill, it alienates a large % of the user base, I personally don’t mind it, im happy to get the Pickford for 6 wins but it should just be in friendlies no stress who really cares if everyone has enzo for 60% of the game cycle everyone has the same team anyway

The packs are decent to be fair. We definitely have enough midfielders out there that's on that enzo cards level, if not better. I'm going ini with my make shift England squad. Enzo is not coming home 😂😂😂

The only problem with this objective is the english gk. In qualifiers I conceeded so many goals. So painful…

nah thanks, I normally get 10-12 wins. Can't bring myself to play against ultra high press and aggressive tackling where the ball is taken from me THROUGH my players body ALL GAME. A game that is nothing like football and is all about your custom tactics and abuse of the games mechanics. it's shite and 99% of players play EXACTLY the same. (cut back, cut back again and shoot)

It think they should have made it a one nation requirement for weekend league this week. So if you don’t want to run an England team u can still use your best players.

I saw the Enzo on Futbin last night and because of my Argentina RTG I was excited, hadn’t seen the objectives. Now I’m pissed cuz I struggle to get 11 with that team and I don’t even know if I have a full team of English players, there’s no chance I’m gonna get that card, also because I don’t have the time this weekend to play champs, should’ve been a Rivals objective imo

im going for 6w to try get pickford and thats it if im 6w 2l or something like that then ill try for more w but going for pickford mainly

Very very interesting perspective to it , only a few good players can get it and you have to have a good English team , these rewards are certainly not for the small boys .Its not so good but has its merits

We get a one nations friendly with objectives. I like it as who cares if I get one less shot at getting Mbappe that I’ll never get anyway. I have a club full of class cards that I’ll probably never use unless something like this happens

i think it’s shocking from EA that they’ve done this. i seen the pickford card leaked and was so excited bc I’m an everton fan and im doing a past and present and have had to deal with gold pickford for the whole game. then when i seen that it was in champs i was gutted bc im not great at the game and struggle to get 9 wins let alone win 6 with a full english team coming up against people playing with their best squad.

Why don’t they just give you him for logging into the game, everyone wants everything to be easy on this game. I’m not gonna do it, he doesn’t fit my team but why does every card on the game have to be accessible for everyone?

As an Argentine Chelsea fan that Enzo card had me so happy....until I saw, it was from champs with a full England team (literally have golds as English high cards went into sbcs for my Argentine rtg), I cant play champs either its too stressful for me. So sad now.

When I saw that it was in champs I was thinking why do that? But after preparing for it doing the sterling evo and other things I’ve really enjoyed playing with a new team and haven’t necessarily been playing worse. I really hope they do the same thing for other champs with different nations

The reason some of us can’t easily get 12 wins is because everyone plays ratty. Like when you play a friend in person you wouldn’t play like that only because it’s online and no one is in front of you, you play super super ratty.

i think most people should not be rats and have fun it’s june, just use a fun squad. i also believe ea need to put restrictions into champs every week as it’s euros

The packs and players on offer are probably better than anything from champs rewards so worth a shot

I’m level 9 atm all the xp from champs rivals on competing all objectives has helped I’m currently doing the 4 ladder players for xp

ea puts these kind of objectives out every year during this team. i don’t understand the backlash. not every card should be available to all players 🤷‍♂️

Just give everyone that opportunity to get these players even in rivals or friendlies and even if they make it 20 wins I'm fine with it because atleast I can give away wins to people that can't get wins in games or don't have good teams so they can't get good teams

I’m building an all Chelsea squad so ofc I was trying to get this Enzo Fernandez card but I only play 3 games of playoffs and in 1-2 with this England team. My England team is actually very good but having fucking 84 ramsdale in net who can’t save shit is so annoying. The games I’ve lost were like 5-7 based on the fact my opponent would just spam finesse shots from range. Just of that I can already tell I’m not even gonna reach 6 wins with a gold keeper in net so I’m not gonna even bother

Giving out a final player for the next cup or WL objective is fine. Why would you need an English player ?

Disappointed that the Enzo is behind a skill level I won't reach. Think it would be good for these rewards to have tiered levels if cards. Eg if you get 6 wins you get a 92 version and then the more wins you unlock an evo to upgrade the Enzo to higher rating more playstyles etc.

I mean for people who aren't good at the game or don't have good England players in their club it can be extremely difficult. However it is atleast something different. And I'm lucky that I still have a lot of good players from England. So I will definitely get that Enzo Fernandez. Also that card can be 99 rated so of course it should be a grind to get a good card like that

They probably switched Gomez and enzo right at the end. Thinking must be that more likely that enzo goes to 99 than Gomez. Cant give everyone a 99 card.

It’s supposed to be hard to get a really good card otherwise they may as well just give him out for free to everyone so I think it’s perfect

This is why I always build up different nation and league squads everyone crying about not being able to use their best meta team is funny to me you’re not forced to use an English team in fact if you stick your main team you now have an advantage over people using English teams.

Putting cards behind number of wins is great, but then putting them behind full squads of a nation too is not on. Getting 14 wins is hard with my full team, building an England team and getting the same is not worth the stress

Don't get this community at all. People want the rewards but why? You don't want to play with and england team? Why do you want Pickford then? You dont want to play champs? Okay, so why do you want enzo? People beg for reasons to play the game, then want it in friendlies so they can play golden goal and be done in half an hour. The objective is absolutely fine, reward people for being good, if people cant get it, deal with it. Not hard

Surely it makes no difference if a casual has a 99 rated card. Surely its if you are able to use the card to your advantage that makes the difference? Im not a casual, but im also a bit rubbish at the game (Div 5). Having the Enzo card will not make me significantly better, nor threaten those in higher divisions as me.
