I find it hilarious that the paranoid take is only a week old, and it’s already considered one of their worst take.

The whole "perfect", "not perfect" song thing is not the best way to judge music, because there are songs which are superior and they may have a couple of questionable lines or odd production choice at some point, as well as there are songs which are flawlessly executed but aren't just as good or groundbreaking

Day 92839202 of me defending mmlp2 in this channel's comments, but to me mmlp2 is a top 3 Eminem album and i personally can't see how it can not be placed in the top 5 of his albums. The lyricism, the flows, the concept, one can argue that it has lows but the highs on that album are extremely high to me and bad guy and legacy are both probably among my top 10-20 Eminem songs oat, as well as groundhog day from the deluxe. Runaways first verse feels authentic and real. Its blunt when you expect it to be a little bit more serious. Big L take he cant recognize the range of unique emotions that are hit with ye's boldness in the delivery of the lines

I'll never get how someone can say Up is better than Runnin. It's like comparing a 1/10 track to a +7/10. I listened to both tracks for the first time out of curiosity and I couldn't even finish the NAV track. Runnin is so much better in every way.

Your worst fucking take is having God Don't Make Mistakes not in your top 10 of 2022. It's top 5 of the decade. This album is near perfect, masterfully written emotional verses, top tier production and features.

ant is right about runaway. the song is fantastic but that first line does scar it a bit, a crude and blatant way to lyrically start such a grand song. it’s in the same vein as FSMH pt1. grand fantastic production with a terrible opening to his verse, but yet still a fantastic song. superhero is just a perfect song because it does what it set out to do perfectly, but that doesn’t mean it’s a necessarily better song than runaway

I legit dont understand why you put Revival and MTBMB in the same sentence. I think MTBM was a good album. I think it was one of his better attempt to create a more poppy sound but still keep it pleasant to the ears. I think Premonition is one of the best songs he made after the early Em days. Its def a perfect intro song. I love Leaving heaven and besides that there are some decent/good tracks like unaccommodating, Lock it Up, You gon Learn, No Regrets, Marsh (besides that last verse) and I Will. Im not gonna tell you that its a classic or everybody has to like it but there is no way its on Revivals level even tho a couple of songs that could have been on revival.. that bad.. but all and all

I agree with Paranoid take - it doesn't fit the album. I also skip Robocop as well. Views should not be on same level as Stankonia and The Black Album. Astroworld I can see being up there (not on par with those, but still quote unquote Amazing) I agree that Kanye can ruin vibes with his lyrics, and he does it all the time, but I think it works on Runaway - in fact the juxtaposition here is intriguing. Runnin's production is much better than Up. That's a wild take. You can argue the hook is better, but the production...nah I agree with MMLP2, my problem with your take is that you rate Relapse and a few others from that era higher. That said, this is always fun - enjoy your content.

LSD holds a special place in my heart because the first trip I ever had was on acid, and I watched the music video for LSD. Totally transcended me and a wonderful introduction to the world of psychedelics, banger of a song too still gives me a feeling of bliss and innocence
