I think people never gave Laura a chance when they heard about her drama, me included, but I discovered my like for her this past year and I can fully say I am a HUGE supporter of her now. I feel she is one of the few genuine youtubers these days.
I personally had never even heard of her until the drama happened as I was only really watching a couple of beauty people like KathleenLights at the time. I’m usually out of the loop on most people so i realize she was very popular and that’s not be saying she wasn’t relevant haha. So I definitely just jumped on the bandwagon to hate her because I had no other reference point. But her video about adopting her niece really changed my perspective and I gave her a chance and haven’t regretted it!
Same! I used to love her and then this mess came out and I didn’t watch her and now I love her again! I think each RU-vidr needs to learn some way or another and that was her path she had to take in order to be the person she is today!

I was someone who jumped on the hate train during the 2018 drama. I subbed to this channel first because I love podcasts then I subbed to your channels about a few months after. I never thought I would sub to yall but it had to happen when all my faves stopped posting on a regular. Manny and Laura have the best redemption arc ever on RU-vid!!!

I've never been into makeup, other than some basic eye stuff, so I've never been a watcher or subscriber to beauty influencers. However, for some reason your podcast came across my feed and I decided to check it out and instantly fell in love. Laura, I love your scream laugh. Manny, I love your stories. I just love your friendship and watching your podcast.
My personal opinion is that the ones that think that people can’t change are the ones that either can’t change themselves or use that as an excuse to not make an effort to change 🤷🏻♀️

I heard something last summer which is, what other people have to say or feel about you is none of your business. It sounds so strange but it’s so true. How other people perceive you or feel about you is their problem, not yours. I’ve only been following you guys for a couple years but I adore you both and the content you put out. There will always be haters but that’s on them. I know this video was more made in fun, but just know most of us love you guys! Keep on truckin’ lol. Also, Laura, I’ve been to the south and I’ve never met kinder and more polite people! There are plenty of idiots and dummies in Northern California where I live lol, so I don’t know where people come up with this country bumpkin business.

I only started following influencers on RU-vid when I moved abroad and there was literally nothing for me to watch. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with many influencers except you two because you seem far more relatable and unproblematic in comparison to other influencers on RU-vid. I love you both!!
