Somalis don’t wear a piece of Oromo clothing and it’s know by Somalis that oromos have taken aspects of our culture, mainly our clothing. We’re not a doqon like you. We care when our clothing is being stolen and appropriated

It is not about being cool with Oromos it is about preserving our culture and protecting from cultural theft like y’all claim on the internet. If you have your own culture why do u need to claim others culture. Gatekeeping is necessary the minute y’all decided to wear every single pieces of Somali cultural attires like Alindi and Shaash even tried to imitate our custom and traditions such as Shaash Saar and umul bax.

@@w.8329 Stating false information won’t change the fact that your people don’t like their culture and prefer the attires and accessories of others over their own. When you’re told you can’t claim other peoples attires as Oromo, you start lying about their culture and looking for excuses. The bride was not wearing your sadeeta at all. The people were dressed in Somali attire/accessories, along with Harari scarves and accessories. Say what you will ab those cultures but one thing we know for sure, nothing Oromo looks anything like it.
