If you are a fan of Patrick Evans you are in the middle of watching his break out year as a freerider. After showing out at some whip comps and demo's, he was invited to X Games and given a chance at Quarter Pipe and followed it up with a spectacular performance at Red Bull Imagination that showed he really was one of the guys. Fast forward to 2024 Pat signed a deal with Stark Future and continued to take over the internet with his insane whips. We caught up as the who Freeride and FMX world is getting ready for X Games and Pat is in with a real shot at gold.

I wonder what a contract looks like for a FMX Rider? Are these million dollar contracts? $100,000 Contracts?……I know some of the top riders with the largest social platform demand the larger contracts…..curios the comparison to let’s say Twitch’s Deal? I love this guys Fasthouse Gear he wears…..I am assuming these guys are strugglin to pay the bills…..but I lived in Southern California, I was making good money and it didn’t mean shit bc it’s so gnarly to live there

Yeah, socal chewed me up and spit me out. haha. Was making good money too but it wasn't enough. I was racing flat track at the time and I was broke as F all the time.

All of their gear, bikes, and travel are covered and I think they get a room in a company owned house but they’re not making any real money. Most likely just enough to get by.

electric bike. he is talking about pinning the bike in the air, getting that rotation from the power going to the wheel. on an electric bike, no shifting 1-5 so you can just RIP it and go from 0-100 which allows him to send whips like that.
