A little side note for the reason Consolation was uploaded to their fan-cafe (not weverse) : Plave was voted 1st place at a award ceremony so Plli's thought that Plave would definitely be awarded as 'Rookies of the Year', as it normally is for "normal" groups. However they made a whole new type of award that had nothing to do with getting voted 1st place, and that really hurt the whole fandom (and plave probably didn't feel so great about it either). Around this time (which was also the day before he uploaded this cover) Yejun sent a bubble message that said: "I was lying down going to go to bed but I couldn't fall asleep from having all these different things on my mind. --- Pllis are like a thick blanket to me. You guys always make me feel warm and cozy☺. Also I like to pull the blankets up to my neck, this resembles Plli's as well! You're existence is my life. I couldn't fall asleep so now I'm blabbering,, Plli's~ From now on if I can't sleep I won't hide it and I'll tell you guys! You have to hang out with me instead though, promise me! Don't worry about me when I can't sleep, just hear me out and be there for me :) I can tell you everything" After uploading Consolation he sent another Bubble saying: "You guys comforted me yesterday. So today I want to comfort Pllis." He talked about how he felt like the lyrics were talking about us (plave & pllis). Basically it was a gift for Pllis, it was him wanting to comfort them. I felt so sad hearing Yejun's cover for the first time 😭 I'm so mad about that whole situation when us pllis did our best to make them win first place 😭😭 We were robbed 😢
@@pearlyshela I know :( it must've been even more devastating for the members themselves. The whole virtual idol thing is very new and still has preconceptions around it so it'll take time. But we shouldn't give up! It's only been a year and Plave has accomplished so much, I trust that the world will soon catch up and see their potential and talent❤️
Oh I didn't know about that. I'm still a new fan. This makes me so sad and mad. Is it one of the best rookie group in virtual artist or something like that award? I was looking up awards Plave have won after their livestream where they read letters from their oldest fans, and I was surprised to see that virtual artist category. I was thinking how is it that they already have a category for that when virtual idols are still relatively a new thing? I really love that cover and now knowing the backstory makes it so much more precious. So proud of how far Plave has come.
Also Yejun's throat wasn't feeling well at this time (minor vocal nodules), but as explained above, he said he wanted to record this song no matter what. 🥺 Also his falsetto part sounded husky cos of his throat condition then. But since he has recovered, he mentioned that he cannot replicate that sound now.

It's where their upcoming comeback song was accidentally created "A Masterpiece" they said. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. It's really inspiring and amazing watching them do what they love. Their passion for composing music is infectious in fact, that I want to try composing songs also😅
it's near but I don't think it's THAT near🥲😭 or at least I'm not holding my breath.. since it always takes quite a while for them to comeback because of all the post production they have to go through (composing➡recording➡choreo➡practice➡filming mv➡dduks post production) I hope it'll be at MOST 2 months though!!!
@@Hotcheetos777 I'm glad they're doing livestreams, radios, covers and shows weekly (but also worried if they're overworking because they've a lot of contents for a year old group that relied mostly on self produced shows). Plave and vlast definitely know how to keep the plli fed.
