Bringing the daily mourinho news to the Irish guy Roma played their first game of the season yesterday. A home game against Salernitana. They were without Dybala. Their capitan Peligrini and their manager Jose all 3 suspended and Tammy Abraham injured So mourinho asked the youth coach to be on the bench while he was outside the stadium watching the game on his phone with earphones connected to the bench. Roma started very well playing attacking straight away and scoring after 2 minutes with Belotti finally scoring a league goal for roma but the goal was ruled out for a very tight offside. Roma kept on playing forward though and scored again with a brilliant goal from Belotti again definitely showing anger But Salernitana equalized before half time and then took the lead with a brilliant shot. At this point mourinho gave orders to make 2 substitutions. Both new players Renato sanches and Leandro Paredes who gave an assist a few minutes later to Belotti who slashed a header to make it 2 - 2 After the game mourinho went to the dressing room to congratulate Belotti Next game is Saturday away at Verona. This time Dybala and Pellegrini will be back but mourinho will still be suspended. He isn't coming back before 2 weeks in the 3rd game of the season against AC milan

Chelsea need a proven center forward imo. Jackson has a lot of qualities but he is young and clearly feels the pressure of having to be the main man. He should be a squad option rather than a starter. And Chelsea really need some more experienced players rather than buying almost only youngsters

hey, nothing against roque santa cruz, the poor dude was just underrated, he barely was given any chances, with bayern, he always had bigger (bayern) names in the way... jancker, zickler, elber, pizarro, makaay, scholl, guerrero, podolski... then he came into the premier league and made it to 19 goals in 37 games, 4th on the list behind ronaldo, torres and adebayor, everything looked as if it was finally going well... then came the raid on his house with his wife and kids at knifepoint robbed blind... nobody can tell me that had no effect on him. then came his transfer to city and mancini plus injuries ended his chances of playing there, ignored by mancini and after a lot of time on the bench, he was loaned around to other clubs and that's pretty much the end of it... i always thought he had more potential and hughes, who wanted to get him to QPR, knew that but never managed to get it done... he had his best season under hughes after all. at least, there is a rock song in german of, with and for him... 😅
