We went and double-checked the instruction book to make sure that we had included "prepare the mold" as the first step 🤣. It is so much fun watching everyone jump into using the kit!! We can't wait to see all the grain's creations. The countdown to shipping is on!!!

When Jackie mentioned the redundancy of her students writing. I was on the floor in fits of laughter. One of the last essays I graded right before summer began a little something this: "This essay is about a historical figure named Benjamin Franklin. Benjamin Franklin was a historical figure." I over this video and can't wait to go sub to Graveyard Loon. I hope that is his channel name. I love Chloe and Ace of Clay. this was so fun to watch.

I was unable to buy the kit, because with the customs and taxes, it would have been too much for my budget, but I love seeing the things everyone's making. There is something universally appealing and inspiring about the character mould, so you totally nailed the design. But if you ever make another kit, because we artists tend to skip steps on instructions, maybe add a line as the first step: Before starting the project, make sure to read through all the instructions. Maybe in a bigger font. 😀

@@bookwormbon482 theoretically, as of the new rules, the company should have already paid the tax as it’s worth under £135. If they haven’t and it comes through as gift you’re looking at about £30 (20% vat + £8 handling). If you google “Royal Mail customs charge” the first thing that comes up explains it all.

I'm a little disappointed in Baylee's video because she didn't use the main feature of the box: the mold. You can buy clay anywhere, but you can't with that one of a kind mold. I would have liked to see her use the mold because as Ace if Clay says "the box revolves around it." Fun video Jackie! You're so funny! :)

Enjoyed watching you " back seat" crafting, was funny. I enjoyed watching how everyone used the kits originally. I had to watch Jazza's video in sections but it was fascinating. I enjoyed how he used the kits and then brought other items and showed that the kit was so usable. Waiting for the last item. It was great you where there as well with advice. Watching Jazza's video is a must as are watching the other videos. Hoping you are feeling better.

I saw Moriah Elizabeth reacting to her squishy videos and immediately thought of your kit when she was making her squishies from scratch!! It would be awesome if she made a squishy out of your mold! OR, you guys could combine forces and make a Moriah and Jackie craft kit where you have the stuff to make squishies, or if that's too dangerous, decorate squishies, with your mold/character base!!

Just an FYI, I personally used small, very small, amounts of resin and infrequently but each time I used it I would get a sore throat and chest pains. I'm not sure that my throat ever fully recovered, tbh. So, while many are probably 100% good with resins without using a respirator, it's unfortunately not the case for everybody.

Resin should only be used in places with good ventilation and shouldn't be inhaled. When in doubt, use a protective mask.

@@CompleteMuffin You are absolutely right, though the food grade Non-VOC resins are "SUPPOSED" to be safe. I would still have ventilation though, just in case. My craft room has bay sized louver style windows on opposing sides, and I open them both with a fan blowing in one and out the other.

This can be said about all art and craft supplies. Some crafters are extremely allergic to polymer clay, others are even allergic to silicon tools. I think if there’s a reaction to anything, it’s important you take the necessary steps to stay safe. I personally only have allergies to metals (long exposure), so I avoid them when possible.

@@nerdecrafter Respectfully, what you're referring to is a contact dermatitis caused by an allergy and it is different from respiratory irritation in this case. *Luckily* the type of irritation to which I refer is not related to an allergic reaction which leads to edema, hives, etc. (like yours with metals) *which imo is a much more horrendous and potentially life threatening ordeal, particularly when it's idiopathic*. I feel what I'm referring to is more so the epithelial lining of esophageal tissues may be thinner, less lubricated, more damaged, or genetically predisposed to become irritated easily in some folks. I suffered chronic strep and ear infections as a kid (like many) so that's probably affected the hardiness (because the lining can repair somewhat) of those tissues, for me at least. Hopefully that makes sense.

I want this kit, but I'm a bit scared of the resin. After watching Jackie's videos, I picked up two different UV resin's from Amazon and they were _the worst._ Now I'm leery of all of it and I feel like I missing out. TT_TT

I’ve tried other uv resin that were bad. This is VERy beginner friendly. None of these creators used resin before and they did amazingly
