Not to be a nerd, but here we go: • MemeM = Memento Mori, Latin for “remember that you (have to) die” • The chorus is “meoritsoge mem mem mem”, which is short for “meoritsoge maemdolda” - something circling around in your head / stuck on your mind. Cute wordplay. (Don’t ask me to romanize or translate that better, I’m still terrible at Korean. Hanging on by online lessons and a dream. 😭)

My old person ears has hated every popmix song I've come in contact with so far, until this one... but it took me a hot minute and several revisits to get into it. lol I only really revisited the song because it's PK though... So, not my favourite title track, but with the story films that go with it you can definitely see what they were getting at.... and popmix is really easy to screw up and make a bad song with, so I think they did quite good all considered. The best song on the album is Pretty Psycho for sure, with Cursor coming in closely behind.
