I agree with your thoughts on the controversy. I think because it meant so much to River and there was arguably more pressure on him to win, which he probably felt, his emotions were very high so it wasn’t gonna take much to set him off. Apparently they made up after the battle anyway

River's rounds were so perfectly structured, like storytelling. Executed almost if not truly 100% perfectly. Anyone who thinks Abo Ice won are just fan boying over his new sounds.

Abo ice was being a jerk with the mic vs Androide, walking away making androide chase him all the way across the stage, then stepping on the cord yanking it out of Androide's hand so i guarantee River had talked to Androide and was prepared for Abo Ice's antics.
