If you really want to intake the band fully, I highly recommend you start from the beginning of their discography. The three albums are a trilogy concept, and tells an overarching story of Vessel. It's a very wonderful rabbit hole to deep dive, and you'll notice certain themes and lyrics that intertwine in different songs. It's really a wonderful experience. Do consider this. When I first found Sleep Token by accident (thank God), I think it was Alkaline... I don't remember. I couldn't close my mouth, I had tears in my eyes, I had goosebumps. I was like hipnotized. I'm so happy that this band exists. Thank you

Man this was an A1 reaction. Its refreshing to see someone actually listen into the lyrics rather than listening to it at face value. That alone made me subscribe. You should definitely go back and listen to all of their music from start to finish. It is written like a book and you won't regret one bit of it.

Aw I love hearing Sleep Token through someone who has not yet heard them and can appreciate them. As others have said it’s well worth it to listen to the entire discography but that can eat up a lot of reaction time but ST fans are here for it. If you don’t want to do that via reactions I would at least do these first as they give you a pretty full picture of their talent. And yes, Bad Omens, I adore them too! Highly recommend listening to the trilogy back to back and see it as Vessel’s grief explained, with the last track of the last album calling back to the first track of the first album and see the cycle complete 😭 I cry all the time to TMBTE ! Do Blood Sport next ! (And you’ve gained a new sub ha)

Welcome to Sleep Token. Prepare to be sucked in. Lol. I discovered them about 5 months ago and I have had all their songs on repeat since. For suggestions, I'd love to see you react to "Ascentionism", "Rain", "The Apparition" and "The Summoning" from the new album. Also, "Alkaline", "Hypnosis", "Blood Sport..the room below version", "Higher", "The Offering" and "Jaws" from the older albums. My favorite song from Sleep Token ever is "Vore". It's a really heavy song.If you like that, check it out too.

If you value high quality music, this is it, been following them for 2 years, vessels lyrics are beyond poetic, the creativity and unwillingness to keep to conventions is off the charts, and the musicianship is in par, especially the drummer, no band has ever touched me on the level sleep token does “no amount of self sought fury will bring back the glory of innocent” what a line, worship ❤

Vessel, the lead singer, keyboard/piano, has phenomenal range and he's a master lyricist. He also writes the guitar and bass parts and records thrm II (2) writes and plays the drums. He's a god on the drums. They're hoined live by III (3) and IV ( 4 or Ivy) on tour. I commented above the best way to listen is from the very beginning wirh the ep's. But at the very least listen to the songs in album order. They build and order placement is key. I hope you go down the rabbit hole, I'm hanging around to tag along if you do. I live vicariously thru new first time reactors. 🖤

Sleep token is awesome this whole album is worth a listen. And I’m not sure if you’ve heard of Spiritbox but they are definitely worth a listen and the singer Courtney has some amazing one take videos. Great video though happy new year

What everyone else is saying. It makes a story. Go back to the beginning, read about the lore. We all kind of know but we also stick to the anonymous thing because it part of the theater with this band,its fantastic. Look at the album covers. This is a RABBIT hole and is a journey. Worship!!

Sleep Token are the best band I have ever come across and the recent album is definitely my AOTY! You should go down the rabbit hole now. They’re genre bending and use elements of everything from rock, metal, RnB, trap, hip hop, gospel, and more. Even if you don’t like one song don’t write them off as every song is different and as you can see from this one they switch up completely through the songs, also don’t be thrown off by some of them being 7-8 minutes long either as it goes by far too quickly. You should start at the beginning and work your way through as they tell a story and have call backs to a lot of them. The band are anonymous, I and others know who they are but won’t reveal out of respect to the band and fans but the singer goes by the moniker Vessel, drummer, who is a beast is II, bassist III and guitarist IV. From London UK. As far as their discography goes they brought out two EPs called One and Two, then 2 singles called Jaws and The Way That You Were, then the three albums Sundowning, The Place Will Become Your Tomb, then TMBTE (Take Me Back To Eden). They’ve done five covers that I’m aware of. One being Hey Ya by OutKast, I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, Is It Really You? By Loathe and When The Party’s Over by Billie Eilish, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. His Vocal range I believe is B ♭2 to F#5 and he has a wonderful chest voice, head voice and scream. I have never hyper fixated on a band like I have with these! Loved the react and Will subscribe and hopefully see many more. 🖤 The trilogy = Seduction. Destruction. Liberation.

I feel like this song is about the price fame and all the negativity that comes with it. Take me back to eden could be him saying he wants to go back to the start when it was pure and enjoyable.
