I don't suggest watching pd 101 s2 for haknyeon. He was badly edited by mnet even though all he did was work hard. I still suggest their variety shows like their come on the boyz series, flower snack, the 100, etc. The Boyz already have a lot of their own content.

5:00 yes sangyeon is such an amazing leader and fun fact about him: sangyeon is called “class president” instead of “leader” bc he thinks that if you say “leader” it feels like the responsibility is on 1 person! but they make the system as they’re in a school so each member has their own responsibility 🥺🤍

Trust me when I say don't watch Produce for Haknyeon. You'll be so angry. I still get so pissed and I didn't even watch it. I only met Hak and The Boyz a few months before they debuted. Mnet edited Hak badly back then to make him appear like he didn't practice and yet he was already shooting to be the center performer. There were so many people from both Korea and internationally who bashed Haknyeon and bullied him (you can still find threads from antis talking about how he's "lazy" and "greedy"). They went as far as to say his "behavior" came from the death of his father the year prior to him being on the show and they called his mother horrible things. His friends in Jeju had to stand up for him and tell the public that Hak was someone who works harder than anybody and would never just ask for something unless he was putting forth the work for it. His fellow contestants even said that Haknyeon wasn't sleeping much because he was always in the practice room trying to catch up since he struggled learning the choreography back then. Even on "The 100" reality series with The Boyz, you can tell that Hak struggled to learn the moves and would get frustrated but his friends always supported him warmly. Luckily, there were people who thought Hak was adorable and talented during PD101, so they stuck with him until The Boyz were announced. Back then people said that it was a group with 12 Haknyeons because all of them were handsome like Hak. Thanks to Haknyeon, The Boyz were able to debut successfully and had a decent fanbase already started, but it was a very difficult time for Haknyeon AND fans. In short, don't trust Mnet and protect our Jeju Maknae.

Film Festival was their concert you can say, in a unique way. They acted as actors there. And they performed individually as well. We also celebrated 3 yrs of The Boyz by Film Festival. It was an online concert

Please check out their A to Boyz series. It's a series of individual covers the members do, so far jacob, hyunjae, juyeon, sunwoo, changmin and younghoon have done it. They include vocal, dance and rap covers and the music videos for each member are beautifully made.
