The concept of "treasure" in One piece is pretty complex, its not just physical treasure like gold and silver but more so that every person treasures something different and has their own dream Luffy doesn't care about gold and he doesnt even want to know what the One piece could be, he is an adventurer that just wants to explore and have great time. They dont conquer islands but the opposite, they liberate everything and everyone along the way, which is in line with Luffy's motivation to be the one who has the most freedom, so since he thinks he has the right to have that dream,other people should also be allowed to have at least basic freedom which is hard in the world as oppressed as this one. Every island has their own inhabitants, political state, economy, way of life and so on, there are more than 20 races in the One piece world, its the biggest and most intricately detailed, connected and diverse world ever created

You raised that there was a geopolitics in this story, it is good to have noticed it, it is important for the end.

Taken in all at once, this show is absolutely overwhelming, and we’re just taking a brief peek at each of the locations the show visits through it’s run. It truly is a world of dreams.

This is one of the best reactions to this I've seen and I've seen pretty much all of them. I absolutely love the attention you give it and have a lot to relate from your own experience. Other reactors either barely say anything and sit there like a mannequin or just say "wow, that's so cool" over and over. I agree it is very cool, but it's nice to see you actually acknowledging just how cool some of the places are and why.

Personally I always recommend checking out “The appeal of One Piece: Where to start” and “Why you should watch/read One Piece” by Super Eyepatch Wolf. Those two videos do an amazing job showing people what makes this series so special, without overly spoiling things.

The part where there’s different color waters is actually juice lol the main characters are entering into a sea filled with islands made out of food and the oceans are also made out of different types of drinks. It’s crazy how much of a wild and beautiful journey this story is and I really hope you watch or read it. It’s definitely worth the investment! 🔥 fire video!

I really like your guesses. Everything you said is actually possible. It might happen. Like the mist thing you said, there could technically be someone who can gain that power. And your guess with the going to different islands to get clues was almost spot on, but of course we don't know that until later, and only a few people can actually understand it.

And those flying 3 islands are not same 1st is Wetharia ,2nd is Golden lion Shikis powered islands and 3rd is Skypia island. 15:03 is near The whole cake island where sea water is actually various types of juices. 16:08 is Amusement park on Shabody Archipelago island. 16:33 That's the Kido one if four emperors, he can transform into Dragon and now luffys crew currently with him on episode 1053. 17:29 that's Octopus who helps ships to go down slow from Skypia island.

There IS a Bermuda Triangle-esque place of sorts called the Florian Triangle. A fairly spooky place.

I like how everything that he is expecting/guessing is in one piece in a more fun way or astonishing one like when he said that it would be dope to be on sea with different colors which happen but its sea of juice

A little spoiler but to answer your question about Bermuda Triangle, yes there is a section of grandline called Florian Triangle. Hundreds of ships goes missing there every year for mysterious reasons.

I have an huge urge to give hits about all the questions you have during the reaction. But trust me when I say this,. start watching. :) There is such depth in everything you'll experiense in One Piece. I've never encountered this before in an anime/manga. On par with lotr when it comes so story and world building. It true is a journey/adventure!

Remember when the narrator said something about 100ships goes missing in the mist? That place is called the Florian Triangle which is basically One Piece's Bermuda triangle.

@Marco Solo Concerning those pirates who switch form. They've eaten a devil fruit type called zoan type. The dude who's eaten the one turning him into the dragon from the video is called a mythical zoan. (Because you know, mythical creature) There are three types. Mythical zoan, ancient zoan (for example dinosaurs, or a sabertooth), and regular zoan types, which are inherently just "normal" animals. Theres also Logia types, and paramecia types. Logia types are people (for example the ice bike dude) who can control, create and turn into ice. Paramecia types are basically everything else. For example someone can turn iron into rust by touch, and therefore destroy iron (or other metals.)

Believe it or not, I already watched One Piece anime 3 times from 1 to over 900 episodes. Because I want to catch every single details about it and want to be the part of community discussion/analysis/theory. That is so much fun and will never get that kind of feeling in any other anime. I also watch a lot of One Piece analysis/theory channels like Grandline, Ohara, Tekking, Brago, King of Lighting, etc.

The closer parrallell would probably be Magellan mixed with Oliver Levasseur, specifically because He went out to sea and basically explored the world in full, then when he was to be executed, told people to go find his treasure at what is believed to effectively be the end of the world.

Yeah, these places are inspired by real places on our world. The one you mentioned was Water 7 (The City of Water) inspired from Venice.

It doesn't matter how many episodes there are, because even though One Piece is one big story or adventure, it is also a series of (more or less self contained) stories or adventures. So you do not need to watch/read all for a proper experience, and stopping midway doesn't lower the value of what you have watched/read. This is not a murder mystery novel where you need to finish the book to find out who did it. You can watch 50 episodes to check it out, then stop or take a break for years. No problem.

I was gonna write a big long thing about how hype you make me to see a new person get into One Piece and shit but then you talked about Franky working on the ship and other stuff and I'm wondering did people just spoil things for you? Have you seen some of it? I mean I understand it may be very difficult to avoid anything One Piece but I wonder what your knowledge of it is going into it.

Only thing about this video you reacted to I don't like is the inclusion of "100 ships vanish within the mist" because that is so specific to one location, but they put it in and makes it seem like this grander thing than it actually is, which gives somewhat of a wrong impression. It feels very out of place.

Your theories have one fundamental flaw. Namely, they are too straightforward, and One Piece is not like that. As for its location, I can't imagine a story with available "treasure map" lasting over 1000 chapters.
