They don't gotta be as good or better, but to the point where I can see someone bring them to a match and think that it was a good decision to bring them.

As a person who studies psychology in his free time, there are moments where I just don't understand people. This video is a good example of what I'm talking about - when you see where Goresh ranks out of 60 million players, you have to respect him. It's no surprise why he's God Rank - he's smart, understands the game mechanics, knows common patterns players do and how to counter, has all the best equipment, and has almost every unit at 14 Stars. How are you going to tell this guy he's wrong? Most players are casual - if you were brand new and really wanted to learn this game at its very core, he'd be one of the people you'd want to watch. That's what I did and I'm now a Diamond player. You can love a unit or team as much as you'd like and have your opinion, but when you make it high enough, it'll be clear as day to see which teams are superior. Your skill may be good enough for you to think you can use any character and win, but sometimes you may lose due to a unit's kit, and there's nothing you can do about it. There are other factors as to why you may win or lose, but this is one aspect in gray area of DBL's PvP.

While I definitely agree that turles left a lot to be desired upon his release, it’s also important to note that, in his showcase video, you actually were not playing in lbr. I saw someone else mention this in the comments and I went back and checked myself, I’m surprised you didn’t at least go back and review the video before making and uploading this one.

Make these more often. Very entertaining to watch. Turles has always been trash. I never saw turtles ever in pvp when he dropped so idk why people saying he was good. If you a good unit you should be getting playtime right? The point you were making about if units can’t compete with the top tiers if they suck, this is true. Look at the kaioken goku we got with revival frieza, lmao haven’t seen that dude since his banner first dropped. Niche characters don’t age too well sometimes. That goku was only made to counter the vegeta side of G&V and crazy thing is 90% of the time when you fighting the vegeta side, they are able to switch right back to goku because vegeta keeps drawing a blast card and ki. In the meta we in now if you doing just one thing, your not really that good. That goku was only good for restoring vanish and giving a slight strike damage buff to son family.

Watching this now in the current time its kinda funny how YEL Turles ended up being one of the most forgotten units after like a month or so. Like why did you even defend him anyways?

I'm actually surprised anyone defended turles. I got him to like 8 stars when he first came out, and I was done using him within a week. He was complete trash compared to units twice his age.

You know what’s funny? One of the very next videos Goresh released after this video was a showcase of Turles and Cooler Movie Goku together and the title said “Domination”. 😅 Personally, I really enjoyed Yellow Turles back in the day, especially when they started adding better characters to help him out. He definitely was not a great unit, had a lot of problems, but I did have fun 👍🏻

Sorry to say but those criticism were relevant at that time,it wasnt a proper showcase...you even did two videos after that telling he did good damage and his best team was saiyan, so he wasnt a rr fodder.He didnt get any movies buff after his release to support him and to make it worst the red cell arrived and LF SSJ2 got his zenkai in a months time...it was end for yellow units with the zenkai of LF SSJ2

I can say that he was mid on release, but ironically enough Goresh calls him trash despite calling him "good but not good enough to revive movies" in the initial video So you're not trying to defend that video. You're trying to contradict yourself. If you wanted to defend that video, you wouldn't have made another video of Turles on a Blast Based Saiyans setup and admitted that you messed up in the comments lmao

I like this style of video, but I have one critique. It may be best to do this with the videos in the past month or two. In a game like legends where the meta changes so rapidly I think looking at vague comments posted years ago is a little hard to do well. Having the comments be a couple months old would still be relevant and easy to discuss.

I distinctly remember watching Goresh’s video on this turles and laughing very hard, therefore it must have been a good video

2024 take here, i used that turles on PO with red transforming bojack and purple jiren back when 4th "anniversary" was releasing and that team cooked so much, it was literally my best team back then.

i remember that i just re-joined the game back then and the legends subreddit was full of memes about how goresh didnt do that turles justice, and thats how i started watchig goresh and raiyuden!

It's okay to be wrong Goresh. You don't need to sound so defensive. (You were also wrong about Zenkai Teq Broly and ended using him in ranked later on since he was one of the few good tank options at the time for your setup, and was able to live Rising Rushes if used correctly at that time, and changed your opinion due to that. Also the Green Blue combo hit really hard.)

I don't think "if you can't fight the best characters in the game, you suck" is correct. There are many people who aren't lucky enough to pull the best unit on a team. For example, right now, the best green unit on LOE is halo golden frieza. But that doesn't mean f2p pod frieza sucks. Someone who didn't pull him can still use f2p pod frieza just fine. There is a massive difference between running f2p pod frieza and say, old grn golden frieza. All I'm saying is there is a difference between being fodder to the best unit and being completely trash.

So basically what I’m hearing is similar types of arguments to red Rose zenkai. If you think he’s good, you’re mistaken. And the reason people bring more than 1 color of the team’s units is because the rest of the characters are bad, it’s not rocket science.

Looking back at this unit. The only reason I used the Turles was because I loved his animations. That's all I knew he was mid if not bad but the animations just pulled me in.

Metal Cooler Goku was on my best team for a loooong long time, and I finally pulled and 14 starred Turles in the last Legends Fest. Didn’t know he was that bad, but I still have fun running him. 💀

Legends did the users dirty when they dropped this guy. There was an event that gave you free z-power for him, but you had to have him, so it was a way for them to coerce you into summoning for him. This was before they started Legends All Star banners with the z-power you could get with 2000 cc.

I remember I was hyped for him and summoned. Then I thought something was wrong with my equipment build for him because he wasn’t doing damage. Even after popping the ult. I wish he was better.
