REACTING TO THE FINAL EPISODE OF THE WALKING DEAD! 

In my opinion- this is one of the best series finales I have seen... and I've seen a lot! this ep blew my expectations out of the water. what did you think of the finale? let me know :)

It’s just gut-wrenching that Rosita wasn’t able to be with everyone living the new life, idk ngl I fucking sobbed-

One of my favorite call backs is when Daryl gives Judith his blood just like Rick did with Carl on the farm. 🥹

I was so emotional when Eugene named the baby after rosita 😭

Not that Negan saying he's sorry is worth a damn, but at least he dropped the mightier than thou attitude and finally understood what he's done.

I have mad respect for whoever died protecting the babies, even though the cage over them wasn't perfect, those people there looked like they died doing what little good they could, RIP Rosita, so many call backs to so many things, didn't cry hard watching, but editing holy fuck it hit me hard...

This episode has made me an emotional wreck. It was everything I wanted and more. They even changed the music slightly in the opening credits and the music used throughout just brought it together so well

The big explosion is similar to the one in season 7 where Rosita showed Rick how to defuse the bombs and use them

I loved the finale also. Like Rosita said twice after being bitten, “It’s perfect”. This episode has everything and didn’t underwhelm me nor was it over the top. It was just right for ending TWD story and setting us up satisfactorily for future stories in the spin-offs and universe to come even into the next generation👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Loved you authentic reaction!

only one thing i didn't like about the finale is no daryl and maggie goodbye??? like he's been with her through just about everything like a brother bruh. we deserved a goodbye between carol AND maggie

I don't think Luke wanted to fight anymore. After seeing Jules get devoured, his heart broke. That beginning scene was so emotionally raw. Bravo to the acting of this show!

I can't believe the walking dead is over. During some few seasons I used to think it needed to be done. But now I'm sad that it's over. However I need to move on now too. It was an amazing journey. Thank you 🙏

This has been a wild ride! I cried as soon as the episode started. I was emotional like crazy! Rosita man. We knew it was gonna happen but man oh man. The end though! Rick!!!!

what a heartwarming finale and reaction. This episode beat out rick's farewell episode as the best TWD ep in the whole series. Deep soul cries i cant even lie. 10/10 fantastic way to end the main series. and Rick once again is the MAIN protagonist of the walking dead story!

This is the most I've cried watching a Walking Dead episode! The deaths felt a little too real!

Rosita's death hit me the hardest ngl she deserved to see her baby grow and find happiness in this new world. Carol and daryl are the heart of this show, maggie too. Her speech about glenn made me sob. I hope we get to see carol, magna, yumiko, connie, kelly, lydia and ezekiel in some of the new shows. AND WHY ISN'T THE DOG GOING WITH DARYL NOOO

We need to see rick Maggie and negan reunite one day seeing negan like this made me sad shows you anyone can change look at negan now

I really loved the finale and how they wrapped up "The Walking Dead" so much. The series was always about our ever growing family trying to stay alive and find themselves a safe home to live. And they did that in the end by saving The Commonwealth, having our guys taking on key roles in it's future running, and finally giving Carol, Ezekiel, Judith, R.J., Eugene, Gabriel, Aaron, Gracie, Lydia, Elijah, Jerry, Nabila, Connie, Kelly, Magna, Yumiko, Tomi, Annie, Mercer, Princess, Max, and Coco/Rosie a safe place to live out their days in their forever homes. Well also setting up the departures of Daryl | Maggie and Negan for their spin-off's as well as the reuniting of Rick & Michonne in their spin-off.

The music was the literal icing on the cake. I'm right there with you though, I have 0 complaints for this finale and how they wrapped up my all-time favorite show. It wasn't what I expected, but in the best way possible. If I'm being honest, I wasn't sure how they were going to end it. And I like that they left it open-ended, but also gave more for the people that WANT more Walking Dead.

Yeah in the commonwealth storyline in the comics, Rick says "We are not the walking dead" bc in the comics he also said "we are the walking dead" early on, and he said it standing in front of thousands of people there. So it's nice that in the show they know Daryl isn't the type to do that so they did it in a way that's true to his character.

So if Rick meets our group again , I hope he sees everyone … as we got everyone splitting up so it’s gonna be tough for them all to come back … crazy to think michonne left mid whisperer war - had so much confidence in us hahaha

Glad they included phantom pain in the episode. I lost my lower left leg limb couple yrs ago and not a week goes by that I don't feel pain from my foot or go to scratch my ankle that's no longer there.

I loved this episode. I've been watching the series since I was a 10-year-old boy and now, at 22, it seems very nostalgic to me, and I shed tears now and then.

I said the exact same thing. It came full circle. I loved it and I'm happy Rick is back. Favorite callback was when Daryl blocked the room door like Shane did to Rick.

For the spin-offs- 1. I wonder if Pamela escapes, through contacts or something, and Maggie and Negan go to get her. 2. Now that we know that Daryl ends up in Paris, I keep thinking about S1 (and apparently there’s more information in “World Beyond”, which I haven’t watched) when Jenner said the French CDC held out as long as possible. Maybe Daryl finds out how this whole thing really started.

I am pretty sure the kids were not in a cage, it was a crib over their heads that someone flipped over to protect them. Thankfully no variant found them. That finale wrecked me, especially when Rosita fell. Her mother’s instinct saved Coco, I was literally in tears 😭 Also I feel like a lot of people didn’t get that the walker that grabbed Pamela over the fence was Hornsby.

Wish we had of seen Morgan and Shane as they started the show with Rick . But also wish we coulda seen some thing with everyone from the past like Daryl mentioning what they went through like governor Merle - why no negan reaction to rick !

It seems like with the walkers breaching, they would have put the cribs over the babies and then tried to fight off the walkers- which is why we just see bodies in the hallway. They weren’t prepared whatsoever.

I feel like Alicia from Fear The Walking Dead is stronger than Maggie it took Alicia a couple of weeks to forgive the person who killed her brother and it's almost been 8 years and Maggie still can't let it go in the world of The Walking Dead no one is the hero there's just survivors and the dead Negan really didn't do anything wrong he was protecting his people just like Rick was dead people fear Him yeah when you're attacking someone or something you have you have to be like that

They weren't going to kill her so her doing so made the show have to spend that extra time on her instead of other important things! And how she was acting at the talking dead show last night she seemed like she's sick of the show, I loved her character btw, but daryl hearing Judith's story about her mom looking for her dad should have been WAY bigger than it was. Daryl was completely heart broken when he thought rick died, he searched for years, and hears Rick's alive and doesn't show a drop of emotion? Idk

I kinda lost interest in the show over the years, but for what it was, i thought it was a great finale. I did cry when Rosita died. I am surprised not more people died tbh. I think 3 spin offs is a bit silly, and I'm struggling to understand why the actors would agree to that, and it'll probably be a while before i jump back into this universe. I feel like Negan/Carol/Daryl/Maggie could have all just been on the same spin off together and in that spin off they could have concluded the Rick/Michonne thing but whatever. If it will minimize the amount of characters and keep things a bit more cohesive, I am all for it. TWD cast was getting a bit too large to keep up with. I also feel like the SLs in TWD were pretty repetitive and stale, dealing with an enemy and then recycle when they could be tackling the bigger story of the walkers in a general sense, or seeing how other parts of the world are dealing with this... so I hope we see that in the spin offs. I hope that Rick and Michonne can reunite with Judith int heir spin off because that's basically the only thing I wanted on the entire series so I was kinda bummed they weren't in the finale. I know it wouldn;t have really made sense because they have a lot of story left to tell with Rick, and I am glad we are at least getting answers there in some form, but idk, I feel a bit weird about it not really being part of the original series.

The only problem I had with this episode is the whole Rosita kill off. I don’t understand it. Unless she requested it? I see no reason for it other than to pull at your heart strings and hurt you. I mean they have the whole storyline with her saving her child..just to die? Sorry. I don’t get it.

So, t finished the finale earlier and the after-show thing, and I'll just say this.....I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, and I get people that the love the show. I enjoyed the show for the most part since the beginning...the special effects were always really solid, and there are so very cool episodes, very cool/well done deaths...no doubt. I will also say the show got progressively worse season after season probably starting around the 3-4, I also felt it was a bit pushy with the woke stuff. I mean literally every other character is in an interracial relationship or a gay one, and occasionally the dialogue got a bit preachy. I thought the final episode was mostly weak with some good spots but left me feeling it was very very soft. I also am a bit annoyed that I felt like the 2nd half of the finale was almost an advertisement for the new shows and was a bit too "feel good" In spite of all of that I enjoyed the series for the most part, and it certainly has its place in the annals of horror television. I wouldn't necessarily go so far as to call it the "best" because had the show come out 20 years earlier (or more) they would NEVER have gotten anyway with the language or gore which would have really hampered the effectiveness. I'm sure I'll watch the new series here and there or binge some bored weekend, but this really is a bit of closing a chapter. It is kind of funny/weird that I remember when the show came out and thinking it could be popular, but not necessarily expecting it to be on for a DECADE, and then it got to a point where it had been on for enough years where it seemed like it would always be around.....just weird. So yeah, it isn't what it once was, and had some annoying stuff, and weak episodes but in totality was pretty cool and had some really high points...like I said it is just odd that from this point on it is all "reruns" and the show getting older. Sorry for the rant just figured I'd spew my mind out on the topic.
