Brother, it is not that bad. Range got a nerf but it’s still big enough to fit most towers in it. Early levels def got nerfed but it’s not that bad. Fire rate nerf at max literally means nothing to most dps towers like minigunner or turret since fire rate is rounded up, which also applies to (I think) accelerator. And most of all, the ability is actually decent even in late game because if you use 3 of them at the same time it will spit out 6 apcs with 50 dps resulting in 300, and the rocket ones adding another 75 dps, also their health is actually pretty decent so they can clutch up if need be. Oh yea the vehicles have all detections btw, which means they can see flying, hidden, and lead enemies.
omg guys we just lost 5% dps and now we have to actually place it closer to the towers instead of placing it on the other side of the map i’m never playing tds ever again!!!!!
The reason why there was a commander rework was I think to make it so people use other towers than the meta ones but they did not need to nerf it that hard. I’m afraid what they’re gonna do for the dj heck even farm rework😰
For me this tower went from a must have tower that I will always take since I don’t trust my teammates to take it to a very meh tower. Its not bad, but just doesn’t feel like I need it as much anymore.
it costs more to upgrade and people would place 3 anyways just to chain but now because the placement limit is 3 and the cool down is 40 seconds it makes chaining like we used to impossible
If I am correct, if gladiator didn’t get the nerf from it’s ability (it stops attacking for a second), and if commander didn’t get the biggest nerf I have ever seen in tds, gladiator would be the fastest attacking tower (call of arms plus rage ability made the gladiator attack faster by 90% more, but if you placed the cooldown flag, it could have been faster)
we have been asking for new GOOD updates, not new updates. we get new updates and their skins, so we all say new GOOD updates, nobody says new updates.

Yeah but its bad. If you use it mid game, you will have trouble late game because you wasted money on that. If you use late game, it will do so few damage
In my opinion its not to horrible as you need to actually think when to use the CA and pvp releasing soon so they dont want people with better commander chaining skills to win with ease
People be complaining but the devs don’t want you to chain commander and that is why it got nerfed, it got buffed to have its old cooldown but the devs were forced to by fans because they are all babies and can’t handle when the best freaking tower in the game gets nerfed. And besides, the APC ability save a few of my games so Maybe don’t always complain about every single change.
idk why people day jester doesn't need a nerf BUT she or he(idk what's jester gender) is basically required for solo hardcore on certain maps or hardcore on multi Lane maps
I swear every reworked tower making them weaker with only 1 huge buff. My fallen mode solo gonna be less possible with commander rework. Also they better NOT to rework DJ Booth since he's good enough with his discount and range buff (nvm the DJ rework is actually good)

Eh, commander is still an S tier tower and is still the best support tower in the game. I only have 2 problems with the rework: 1) Commander still only shoots during CoA. The whole point of the rework is to make commander worse as a support tower but make his own damage output somewhat competent. You can't make turn a tower into a competent damage dealer if it only shoots 1/5 of the time. 2) Range nerf. Again, less range hinders commander's ability to deal damage by himself, which contradicts the point of the rework.
Now it B tier 14 range for SUPPORT Coldown ability 40 seconds and lasts 10 seconds 3 place limit(they kill chain) nerf cost and add useless ability,hd,ld,fd(SUPPORT don't need hd,ld,fd),more damage per shoot for SUPPORT......
So you’re telling me that : Below only buff enemies but nerf units when players are very struggling to make strategy to beat the boss especially those people who solo?
Well atleast now players have to micro commanders sell rebuy used ability and repeat instead of just afk and click every 10 seconds lol I don't mind the nerf that much because i don't even use it even before the rework
tds devs are going in a right direction tho, nerfing support towers will make them not literally REQUIRED for gamemodes, as everyone use them, now people atleast have to use brain whenever they use commander due to the nerfed range
@noobed9646, how does the actual hell commander suck now? It still can literally multiply ALL of your DPS by 1.5x, that's ain't no SUCKS, the only thing that needs to be buffed is the second ability, like doubling the DPS of gunner cars and increasing the damage of rockets to 75, or just doubling or tripling the health of cars.
@@noobed9646it make almost no different 🗿 Like range still can cover all accel and ranger or gmini(if you place it in middle with dj) No more inf chain dude it just 10 sec.. Commander was so braindead to use but now it required more strategy on placing(kinda) and using ability in good situation
