@@ArturoRivera2004 bro I have never seen Keanu shirtless and I don't even have to see him shirtless to say that he's not ripped or bulked I can somewhat agree with Jason Statham but even then Jason is lean ripped he's like an mma fighter and mma fighters are always lean not bulked up just like dev is when you see his practicing scenes in the monkey man trailers And dev is also a martial artist and i know he's not on the level of like Tony and Jackie Chan yet but he's best of both worlds he's a great actor like Keanu and Tom cruise and a practically skilled person to execute action scenes beautifully like Tony jaa and Jackie Chan considering this is Dev's action debut and how he suffered many injuries but still managed his role Both as an actor and director and gave us action scenes choreographed so good that his work matches veternary action directors like chad stahelski David leitch and there's a reason people are comparing it with john wick cause this movie match those standards and even compared to Korean action movies we know Korean industry does some of the best action films and this is him just in his beginner days

...so had his production company buy it because Netflix shelfed it. Thats what happened.

I've heard some theories that the story of Hanuman travelled with Buddhism from India to China, and then was combined with local legends to become the basis for the oral tradition that led to Journey to the West, but I think it's based mostly on theoretical reconstructions of the oral traditions so there's no hard proof that this theory is correct as far as I know (I'm an English major, not an Asian literary history guy, lol). But it is a reasonable theory, given the ABSURDLY long history of cultural interactions between Indian cultures and Chinese cultures.

Another such instance is the Chinese dragon being inspired by the Indian Nagas (demi god snakes who lived underwater similar to stories about the Chinese dragons). But then again we don't know for sure if these stories existed in oral form before composition and how old were those oral traditions themselves
