Ah, Geoff. He's a bass vocalist who also sings with an a cappella group, VoicePlay. He has a 5 octave vocal range, and in case you didn't realize, all the voices you heard in that video- background vocals included- were his. He always (*usually- I think there may be one track where he didn't) multitracks his vocals and most of the time he clones himself in video, so that it's evident that he's the one producing all those sounds. And if that weren't enough, he does his own arrangements and videos as well; he's an entirely independent artist. He, his wife Kathy, and his Layne from VoicePlay shot this video, with Eli (another VoicePlay member) doing his lighting work. It seemed like you really enjoyed this video and Geoff's singing, so I'd encourage you to look into his music further, as well as that of VoicePlay. I like to refer to Geoff as VoicePlay's gateway drug, because people tend to find him and his astonishing vocals first, and discover VoicePlay as a result of him. But I've got a secret to tell you- every one of the guys in VoicePlay are just as much a vocal monster as Geoff, only in different ways, and the music they create together is absolutely jaw-dropping. Pick whatever you like- they don't miss.
Considering how you reacted to this, I am looking forward to you listening to his cover of Misty Mountains Cold. Also, unlike many channels, neither Geoff nor his group Voiceplay copywrite strike their songs, so you do not have to worry about videos being blocked or reported.
Awesome reaction ladies. Geoff is extremely talented. All the harmonies in this are him. He can go super low and super high. Geoff has many more fantastic videos. As well does his acapella group Voiceplay. They are also fantastic. Geoff's newest video is.... Man of Constant Sorrow. Voiceplay latest video is Seven Nation Army. I'm on both their patreons.
Geoff has other amazing solo work (I recommend Ghost Riders In the Sky, Sixteen Tons and Far over The Misty Mountains Cold in particular) and he also shakes the firmament as the bass singer for the a capella group VoicePlay--check out their covers of Nothing Else Matters, Hoist the Colours and Valhalla Calling, just for starters. Liked, subscribed and looking forward to more!
@@starrlarh thank you so much for a great reaction to Geoff Castallucci. For your better enjoyment it is highly recommended that you where headphones. It is a must in order to get the full effect of Geoff's voice. His bass voice is smooth as silk & trust me, you don't want to miss that..❤️
