To each their own, it’s clear you love from soft games which is great, I need to play more if their games but taking my time with them, demons souls (PS5) is next on my list from them

@@TrophyReacts I do love them. Dark souls 1 just has a world like no other. It still blows my mind how interconnected it all is. And im just not a big fps guy but bioshock is definitely my favorite along with wolfenstein 2. Red dead 2 was my second favorite game ever when i first played it but replayability is a big deal for me and in my opinion, red dead 2 just doesnt have it but arthur best protagonist and red dead 2, best story in a game

Ngl Witcher's 3 storytelling is better than Rdr2 and especially lore. Still Rdr2 is great and i love Arthur

Modern Warfare is genuinely a perfect game

2009's MW2 was the best COD ever , The Empire Strikes Back or Godfather Part 2 of FPS sequels , one of the few games that surpassed It's (CP2077 level) hype. imo both Influence and being the best matters , but being THE overall best atm should supersede historical Influence , when people make their lists choices should lean towards being dictated by that. Most gamers If they're honest with themselves are going to want to play the majority of those other other 97 games over tetris If they had a choice at any given time , but at the same time I could see tetris getting In the back of top 100 at #97 because of It's enormous Influence which helps justify It's spot and make up for It's extreme simplicity. Simplicity Isn't a bad thing but quickly reoccuring repetition naturally makes a game more vulnerable to boredom as opposed to all the possible variation of more advanced/complex games. I think the best games are able to represent a great balance between both Influence and lasting replayability , but fun gameplay and overall best examples of game design weather ultra refined or completely new should hold the highest sway.
