the weirdest thing I do is use E to edit with both my ring and middle finger depending on movement, but that's probably something everyone withe and E edit bind starts doing unintentionally lol
I used to have my floor bind as middle mouse button and I would hit my right button with my 4th finger but then my scroll wheel broke. I also used q to edit back then and f as shotgun and v as AR and a couple other weird binds. I’ve fixed them mostly now
@@dimsamios nice the reason why I edit with caps lock is because when I first started my friend recommended to use left shift but it Didn’t feel comfortable bringing my pinky down that far so I just moved in one space up
@@dimsamios also my build binds are Ramp: E Wall: R Floor: T Cone: Y So they are all basically in a straight line even though Y is kind of far I got use to it.
The things on the finger that the mobile and the trackpad player used is for smoother glides and to prevent sweats which can be detected and can mess up your aim
Wall- Front side button Ramp- Back side button Floor- C ( I press with my thumb) Cone- Left Shift (pressed with pinky) I use index and ring for A and D so I can build and move at the same time. These are the most optimal keybinds right?
I've been considering remapping my controller for no build mode. Something along the lines of L1 Jump, R1 Reload, with X and Y used to swap weapons. I tried getting used to these settings back in chapter 1 but it was too strange using x and y to build.
the biggest thing for controller will be the grip, where you use pointer finger to hit the DPAD and ABXY buttons, and use middle and ring fingers for the LR L2 R1 buttons
It looks like GMoney plays the same way I do. Double claw and pinkies holding the controller (rings on triggers, middles on bumpers, indexes on touch pad and triangle)
Great vid jerian, love the consistent uploading even with no vid ideas keep up the good work, I also have a vid idea, basically you pay people to be a coach for you in a cash cup(when there on) I feel like it would be good content for someone to coach the goat of coaching
i remember seeing a video, years ago, where a guy said he used esdf instead of wasd, and that inspired me to use tfgu as my movement keys, and i honestly i play much better with these keybinds than I did with wasd 😭
all fun and games till my binds pull up my wall and stair are on my scroll wheel i jump with N and move with tfgh instead of wasd and my floor is S on my pinky with my cone as spacebar also i edit with side mouse button and Y
shift - edit e-ramp r- wall c - floor v-cone left alt - crouch/slide left ctrl - sprint cps lock - inventory f - reload `/~ is pickaxe (are my binds weird?)
i use "Y" for my pyramid, while using my pointer finger, use "f" for my floor, while using my pointer finger, use "v" for my stair, while using my pointer finger and im pretty decent at the game
I have been suffering with this one thing for 10 years. Which is that I don't press my middlefinger to press W. I have always used my pointer finger for that (since I was around 7 years old playing Minecraft) and I have gotten so stuck with it so I still do it but I'm slowly getting off it
The thumb thing is used to have your finger not get stuck on the screen /track pad I use something similar when digital drawing on my iPad but it’s a glove .
I've been considering changing my keybinds so my small hands can reach better, but it goes along the lines of Z is wall. X is floor, C is Ramp, V is Cone, G is edit, and Q is my first slot for my shotty.
Jerian, my keybinds are d for forward, s for left, c for right, x for back, f for edit, a for pickaxe v for 2nd inventory slot, g for first inventory slot and 345 for the rest.
I know a guy who plays FPS games with these insane keybinds: left mouse button = strafe left right mouse button = strafe right a = shoot s = forward x = back d = jump How does that even work?
I use E for wall F for floor C for stair Q for cone Caps for aim Shift for sprint Ctrl for slide/crouch Space for jump T for trap Left click for shoot/place build and choose edit And right click to edit
I have a really weird finger positioning. Basically i have my pointer finger on W, Thumb on D, Middle on A, and for S i move ether my thumb or pointer finger. I use G to edit and i use my thumb for that, my side buttons for wall and ramp, and then scroll for floor and number 2 for cone. Am i weird XD (when i free build it my hands look like a spider lol)
