I feel like this is a bit of a twilight effect. Where people hated on twilight just because it was marketed to girls. I don't think I can comment on a show if I haven't watched it. I too am over girls making fun of girls but where there is already such a low outcome of women and girl centric stories that I might give it a go. CMB is a failed attempt at recreating “Schitt's Creek” in some way. The writers wrote vague and irrelevant dialogues and punches (only a few of them actually landed). The sterotypical Delhi boy accent is so annoying esp cus I'm from Delhi and damn what kinda fuckery they went with the weird houses in South Delhi, we don't have such ‘palaces’ here and european mannerism and etiquettes in posh parties. Lil too exaggerated for nothing good (and bet no mumbaikar is imagining South Delhi to be like this except for KJ). “GenZ will like this” ahh series. Bella was a character that had so much potential and could've been portrayed better, it's neither the genre nor the cast's fault I bet you, it was on the maker's hand and they really did an awful job at it. The character of 'Cher Horowitz' was also that of a stereotypical spoiled girl but she was portrayed so much better and her silliness actually made people laugh and love her. 'Alexis Rose' is also another great example. This could've been better and a relatively new experience for us but damn... Apart from that, Ananya actually did a good job and she played the character of Bella decently, it might feel overwhelming for you if you haven't watched this “RICH SPOILED INNOCENT” genre. It's a one-time watch at max that too just for the clothing just like ‘Emily in Paris’ and ‘the blinginess’ of fame & money.

i think the team knew what they wanted to make and they have done exactly that, it's tacky, over the top and stereotypical because this what they wanted. Mumbai walo ko South Delhi ki sirf 2-3 jagah hi pata hai or wahi dikha di unhone show me (exactly yahi toh stereotype hai ). I think the show was good and Ananya (not a fan of her at all) did a good job playing this part as she was expected to.
