i think Basically Homeless definitely has the best setup i seen in a while, super clean, and its DIFFERENT. Nobody else has a setup that ive seen like that.
i really hope every streamer/youtuber who post these setup vids that get reacted by TS takes his advice because he always seems right about the placement and the design of things!
New to the custom pc building verse and recently discovered your awesome channel. Your videos are extremely informative, especially for a novice like me. Your infectious passion for what you do really does inspire me and has been a great help to me over the past year. While receiving treatment for throat cancer, I would watch all your tech and setup videos to help me plan my fantasy build for when I get well, and as corny as it sounds get me through it. Pleased to stay I'm cancer free, just restarted my own design business, and working towards my first build. 6:24 There's something you never touch on with these monitor brackets and that's adjustability. Using a low-profile bracket like that one completely disables your ability to adjust your monitor positions, which is especially important as that was a Standing desk.
surprised you didn't mention the similarities between TechTesseract's setup and Vikk's - the 3D render he had made was identitcal to their's in terms of panelling, just in black!

Basically, the PC was set on a flat board on the carpet because they had a grommet made to pass all computer cables through the wall on the far side. The guy who made it is the same dude that designed KSI's setup.
i was about to say in konstantin's video its explained about why its there and more into about it overall he looked at the main room setup not just the one who built it and explained why its like that. Like for ksi's setup its more simplistic for him hence why his setup before was like that since he has boxing/music/sidemen video quotas/and Prime to deal with its easier for JJ to just hop in record some videos and then head back out to do whatever hes doing next
Love your videos Edgar. I see a lot of people mistaken those panel for "Sound absorbing". You have to look at the material. The 3D art panels are flat edges making the surface patterns. Thats great for "sound deflection" which is much different. Just my 2 cents.
can i just say i recently brought a TS mousepad and what a game changer i was always one of those guys who said why the hell do i need a mousepad but trust me the mousepad is perfect size, so smoth your mouse glides across it , and with so many designs there is one for each of your setups ,
Am I the only person who loves seeing cables if they are insanely well organized? Like routed with good silicone cable holders? Just as long as it's not lazy.
They contacted the companies that make those panels to make them specifically for the room ... yes you can buy them pre-maid but that's just how they roll
Seems pretty obvious the mount for the curved monitor allows him to swing it over next to him, hence the mount used and the odd not-in-use resting position.
A reason for why his pc isnt on show is because it doesnt have a clear side panel (but has the sidemen logo) but still putting it on top of a shelf seems like a great idea also awsome video as always 🔥🔥

Ed gets so critical, these are both far better than anything you have ever built. You stick to your Alex draws and supergluing risers to them to lay a desktop on 👍
i sorta agree with you. Ed needs to watch the other vids that show the actual creation of the setups such as Konstantine’s vid for Vikk’s setup. Pretty sure it shows that the tiles are truest custom made/fitted there and the pc is actually shown there.
@@LilAlexBoi the thing is, Kon is not even a PC builder, he is a videographer, yet he’s had more attention from his builds than tech source has in his whole RU-vid career 😂. It’s just annoying, it’s so nit picky and it gets boring listening to it the negative comments he spews.

For basically homeless setup,two things,1 i would of mounted the 48 inch monitor down a bit and move the Ultrawide above the main monitor because I would feel that the ultrawide is too long and out of reach and two,mount the mic to a arm onto the desk and get a mousepad.
Basically homeless has a lot of videos where he's not at his desk so he probably moves his mic a lot to different locations. As for the monitors, that's a sit/stand desk so he can't move that monitor or the desk would bump it if it was too low. And the ultra wide is probably comfortable for him. Not to mention it's on a swivel mount so he can move it around when need be
I wish i could afford to make my "dream setup" but i have been looking at desks lately and just for a desk that have all the features i want i would be looking at a starting price of $1400. Unfortunately i am way to broke for that atm, but perhaps one day.
Vik's pc is right under his a/c unit. When these units get older/dirtier some of them tend to build up ice in some sections and drip. Still looking good though but I hope he finds a way around that.
The work the man did is amazing, his setup is fantastic. 2 comments I'd make: 1) The top of your monitors should be at eye level, they look high, but maybe they arent, or Vikkstar is tall and I dont realize it. 2) The side ultrawide seems suboptimal as it has a smaller height, so reading it from a distance will be more difficult, but you do you. Either way he did amazing work here!
