As someone that don't care about the inside of his computer (as long as it's clean, with not 50 cables going crazy everywhere, heck i don't have a transparent panel) but is obssessed with cables management outside of the rig, those ones were NEAT. Especially the one that loved Ikea furnitures and the one with super long tubes.

I like the creativity that people have for their builds. I've never really cared about cables under my desk. I made the cables inside the pc look good enough, but the keyboard and mouse cables, display cables, power cords, and network cables just do what they are going to do.

I've been building computers since around 1990 and only felt confident in the quality of commercially available water cooling hardware to give it a go for my most recent build and like that guy towards the end, I didn't mess around and went straight for a dual radiator (360mm + 280mm), Acrylic 14mm tubing, compression fittings, dual DDC-1T PWM 10w pumps (thank you Martin's Liquid Lab), GPU + CPU blocks from Aquacomputer, Watercool Dual DDC housing, Barrow Res, and an Aquaero 6LT with flow meter and multiple temp sensors. I found the most difficult part was my impatience where i wouldn't heat the acrylic long enough and over enough of the tube to get the bends right at first. And as i'm sure you know, Acrylic doesn't like to be re-heated. I did the whole loop without using any directional fittings. All bends were done with tubing, two of which have 4 bends in them. Pro Tip (from non-pro): Buy at least 2x the amount of acrylic tubing as you think you'll need if you've never done this before. You can thank me later.

Watching these motivated me to give my pc a good cleaning. I removed 4 un-needed cables from the back of the power supply and moved the cables around. Noticed a temp drop in my pc from just having the added airflow.

The retro case sleepers are by far the coolest builds in my opinion. Gratuitous RGB lighting and tempered glass panels are played out in my opinion and I’ve only been into this stuff for like 8 months. I just built my very first PC at the beginning of the year and I’m 100% determined to move into a sleeper case as soon as it’s time to upgrade either my CPU or GPU. I’m handy enough to do some case modifications - I just wish I could find a way to fit my 34” curved ultrawide monitor into a retro housing but clearly that isn’t happening.

I'll give you guys a hint on this tubing deal. 1/2 tubing has a 6" take-up on radius. What that means is if you need the back of a 90 degree bend at 12" on the tubing mark your bend 6" back and bend it. Also for offsets at 30 degrees the multiplier is 2.. so the offsets or as you called it a really hard double bend, say you need them 4" apart, 2x4=8 so you need to have 8" between the two bends for them to work out properly.. This is one advantage of spending more than a decade as an industrial electrician running conduits and such.

@19:50 pretty sure thats the MetallicGear Qube. Looks almost exactly the same except for the space for a backplate 011 distro plate. Slightly more room in the PSU are for a double system build

PSUs are about the 12v Amps not the wattage. Every PSU has diagram to list the distribution of the watts between the power rails. New rtx 3k series ramp power usage up again around 30 amps, with cpu need at least single 45 - 55 amp 12v rail or need to route split rails correctly to equal 30+ going per card much love Jay most entertaining pc builder on youtube :)

Ryzen 5 (can't remember exactly what cpu but it's the higher end one) 32gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 MSI mbd, (can't remember the full name) MSI GTX 1070ti Thermaltake Smart Series 700w PSU And a Corsair mid tower. And to think that started with a finger hut "gaming" pc that came with a crappy gtx720 off brand gpu, an OLD AMD FX cpu that was very outdated at the time. At some point I want to totally build a new Gaming rig and retire my current one and store it away.

I could make a photo of my cooling next room. Its really efficient. Car radiator in wood box with 2 fans... Canister... Filter.. Pump.. And it would give JayZ nightmares for weeks because ... whats "look and lighting"? .. oh and pink silicon tubes (which were clear) because the car coolant gives em color ;-)

Just got a 3070 ti on ebay for 1250. Sadly there was some for 1100 but I didnt look causes I was so upset at missing the card on best buy online drop. Happily I finally have a 3070 ti now instead of an older 1070. Now I can use my 4k hdr monitor. Using 7700k core I 7 with asus z270 mobo. Working great!

Running a i9-9900k watercooled here and rtx3080 on a 750w evga psu. No problems with a 750watt pushing it.

As a joke I'd submit one of my old PCs I built - crappy case, no cable management, entire insides covered in thick layer of cat hair, and most importantly no working case fans at all - it was coolest 100% by just the ambient air of the room. Never overheated, and I used it for over 5 years lol.

I found a gigabyte 3080 in stock on Newegg so it’s definitely real

My setup at home, is a razer blade 15 base model gaming laptop with an Intel core i7 10750h and a RTX 2060, on a RGB laptop cooling pad that is angled at a 45° angle for optimal airflow, ethernet and charger connected and is connected to a Razer core X external GPU enclosure with an RTX 3070 in it, connected via thunderbolt 3 and the card itself has RGB around the fans. That way when I'm at home I can enjoy 4K 60fps gaming with the 3070 eGPU, but when I need to go somewhere and want to game I can just disconnect my laptop from the cooling pad dock its on, and game at 1080p high refresh rate because it has a 144 Hertz IPS panel. Also have an RGB headphone stand from corsair, and always have the 2.4 GHz wireless adapter connected at all times for my Corsair void elite RGB headset, and have the new DualSense controller connected via a 10ft USB-C cable. I also have several smart light bulbs that are multicolor, and set them to match the RGB color scheme that's going on with my laptop setup. Connected to a 49-in LG nano 85 with HDMI 2.1.

Gotta love blurple lights.

Study up on CNC machining because if you don't you can risk personal injury (Flying Tool Shrapnel! Melting your workpiece! ETC) Machinists get TO'ed when someone touches the Machines and doesn't know 🤬! Sorry To swear but I've seen someone's finger after it was smashed in the lathe about a year prior and it was bent permanently and it almost had to amputated, he was only a high schooler! You can build one with 3D printed parts, a drill and Metal Parts for the mechanical and track hardware along with some Arduino's, G-Code Programming and you can build your own CNC versus buying a industrial model for almost 100x the cost!

I see many people using big air coolers on their CPUs and then also use the exhaust fan at the back. I would leave the exhaust fan out because I assume it could hinder the fans on the CPU cooler if the it doesn't pull enough air through the exhaust. And the fans on the big CPU cooler are so close to the back that the exhaust fan is kind of useless.

Your talking about dynamics . So clean set up . Yeah so clean . And no power supply to put on .maybe the power supply will put on the top of the case .

that one at 11 mins with all the messy wires is only a little worse then mine! lol (mainly due to my case does NOT have cable management and im too poor lol - but im slowly saving up for a new case then a new motherboard and cpu - -- and yes i'll be keeping the dvd/bluray drive as i use it sometimes haha - also where i live ALL my electri wires are in them boxes like the one at around 4 mins in... no wiring inside the walls here.. and its rented so no choice.. they DO MY HEAD IN! lol
