No way. Midori is way worse. He's manipulative and has been hinted at being abusive to Shin. All his awfulness is directed outward to other people. Komaeda's was mostly towards himself but did get projected out onto people. Midori is more like Junko. Especially with the whole Shin/Sou switcharoo which is reminiscent of the Junko/Mukuro switch. Not to mention the abusive sibling relationship implied between both pairs. There are a lot of parallels between the two. I think it's fair to say Shin adopted Sou's personality as well as in his name in an effort to survive, just like his Mukuro did. And both people lose their lives through the defence systems of the places they're trapped in.

@@Someone-or8tp expect mukuro took enoshima place not because mukuro want to get rid of her true self and become someone else entirety but because junko order she to just so junko can kill her for the sake of despair, sure sou/midori said that he would kill shin with his own hand has he survive this far but I think what og sou mean is if shin were to ever die then midori should be the one to took his life rather than someone that shin despise like sara or by someone else in atsunaro, I also think midori being abusive toward shin wasn't just merely because his found it amusing but rather also to prepared shin for the death game by "abused" him shin ought to learn that people can be quite cruel, of course this all just speculation need to wait for the final chapter to drop so we can figure out more
