Hey Erik, loving all the videos and content. Big ups for uploading a long video and letting us really soak it in. If I may make one suggestion: When your guest is talking about something, try to hold your comments or commentary on the game if you're gonna let it keep rolling. It's quite distracting trying to listen to Matt make a point while hearing you talk about the live action. Maybe you can let it roll but then pause if you have something to say, so that Matt can finish his point and then you jump straight into the next point. But all in all these videos are awesome and keep up the great work!!
I think what plays into this is that erik probably knows (or has heard) most of the things matt says. However for me and i think a lot of viewers matt's stories where pretty damn interesting
@@thtrain I totally agree. My comment is purely from a viewer who is interested in volleyball point of view. I wouldn't mind watching Erik doing an interview with his teammates either, but if it's a game breakdown I'd prefer to just hear the breakdown and tips etc

It’s amazing to see how the guys in the team are actually smart. The guys I played with don’t have that mentality or know nothing close ... and that’s just by watching a reaction to 15 mins of a game. That’s saying something, about both

I can't believe how Matt purely said what kind of a monster Leon is and how good of a player Juantorena, Leal, Zaytsev, Grozer , and Sokolov are. I mean Matt you are a freak yourself!!!. 💪💪 Man he made me love 😍 him even more for his humbleness and respect for others.
1 Reason: you can easily play basketball on the street (while growing up). You need more space and equipment. --> its easier for kids to get acustomed to basketball than volleyball.

Honestly Matt needs to have a podcast or sum cuz he’s dropped some important gems in this “episode” and we’re all for it. At one point I was just like “please shut the audio of the video so I can hear him”. Overall, that was amazing and there’s plenty to learn from him obviously. P.S.: When u bring Ben Patch can he blow a kiss to the camera? It’s for a friend lol
I think the "This or That with Erik Shoji" should be changed to "This or That with (guest name)" since it's with that person on your channel. But other than that, love these videos!
Thank you Erik to bring Matt and talk about the game. I just realized the talk with all the members of team USA that have been invited to this channel seem more comfortable/relax (than normal intv), because they know you and you are also part of the game. What i mean is, it’s good videos so far, and I’m loving it!
