This is actually a call for help for “hope pet shelter” in Malaysia. They have a NO-KILL policy in place in that shelter and run by mostly volunteers and run solely on donation alone. HOPE pet shelter is currently supporting over 3000 animal and it is getting hard for them to keep going due to lack of funds. Namewee is trying to do a fundraising concert in Johor, Malaysia to support this cause, calling for oversea as well as local talent to support such cause too. Event is on September 2019. But since the release of this song, namewee have receive some backlash from the public of Malaysia claiming that it is a publicity stun. While his sole intention is to help as much as he can.

I requested just last night and you've already got the reaction uploaded today! 😲😲 I found your channel while searching for Mayday reactions and I followed your journey through Hua Chenyu. 😍 I got a sense you like songs with meaningful lyrics so I suggested Namewee. He has funny MVs and also socially controversial ones. I wanted to introduce a light-hearted Tokyo Bon (poking fun of Japanglish) and a deeper song called Stranger from the North (many singers did covers on this song) but I noticed he had the new song "The Stray" which also had meaningful lyrics so I suggested that one. 😎 Vocal wise I would suggest Zhou Shen but I don't think his videos have English subtitles. He has an extraordinary voice too. In the competition Super Vocals he did a cover on "Memory" a song from the Broadway musical CATS. Dimash did a guest appearance with the finalists of the Super Vocals contestants on another competition show called Singer with them singing a compilation of Queen songs. 😎 That's all from me so far. Yes, Namewee is quite unique and very talented. He is a Malaysian Chinese (Malaysia is very diverse with Malay, Chinese and Indian populations), so he sings in both Mandarin Chinese and Malay. I like his Tokyo Bon, Stranger from the North, Sorry Boss, Mother (very touching), and Dream from My Father especially. He has a lot of light-hearted songs poking fun of a certain aspect of a country. Either way, he is quite an unique character.

Sadly dog can’t different the Color people or religion, so some time they thou they can draw close to these people but they case the dogs away..... hope this song bring out dogs are creation of God. That's Stranger from the North but the original was Namewee and Lee Hom which has subtitles in MV. His collaboration with GEM was literally in a karaoke room. The hop hop competition also chose this song to do a cover which also sounds good!

So if you go back and watch S.O.S. from Singer, you'll recognize him.(He's the one who said "Woow" after Dimash had finished singing). His life story is also quite inspiring, it's a (long) story, but in short, from rags to riches & a rebellious kid saved by his love for music. Perhaps Jam's Princess - it's more rock.
