All these singers are talented. However original s are always addicting and you could notice the voices AR rahman picks for songs are so unique and have their own style. It’s just magical.

Hi, One thing, I like to tell you. In India, we have Music as the oldest thing and it is Science which human feel happy for a set of frequency. we don't care about lyric because we have 22 official languages. we will only like to mix lyric and music. The music of India includes multiple varieties of classical music, folk music, classical music tradition, including Hindustani music and Carnatic. one can become a very good expert in one or two types because it is very vast and deep. one who sings a song in India will learn one form that gives open to various deep and good knowledge of how Nodes are raising and fall, sharp vocal and some other to control voice. In India, film songs are made or derived from this as a source. These things make the blend of music and lyric which we fall under any one category in the above list and rules mention. Including big legends, Like AR Raham also practice this form. Ghazals are most popular to do songs I hope so you got a brief idea and I didn't overwhelming things.
This song very well tried by Barklee team. You may like to hear original song here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I7bONBGlwCE.html. Original song is sung by renowned artist nd music composed by R Rehman.
No wonder you're mesmerized! :) Nice reaction by the way. :) :) A R Rahman is one of the most talented music composers of our time, if not THE most. He has also won 2 Academy Awards for his work in the movie Slumdog Millionaire (which many believe, didn't show even 10% of the true extent of his talent). A R Rahman has done FAR better work in countless other projects that most people from outside India are not even aware of. You can listen to some of his earliest compositions here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y1u0IV4nHQ8.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-REye0BFrFCc.html (composed in the early '90s) Since you liked this video, I will definitely request you to react to "Afreen Afreen - Coke Studio". :)
Please listen to another classic Mix - Surat Piya Ki - Rahul Deshpande & Mahesh Kale | Katyar Kaljat Ghusli | Pt. Jitendra ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GKYc9IPMdn8.html
@@ramitasarkar9642 Give it 20 or 30 years and your culture will eventually catch up, although by that time the next generation in the west will be off doing something entirely different.
@@davesmith9680 i understand it's not your style and you don't appreciate it. It's completely fine but that doesn't mean that your music is superior. Every music has it's own legacy and heavenly touch.
Interesting to see Indian music played on western instruments, but this is not my cup of tea. Cultural bias, I guess. I am attuned much more to western music, and the melodies and harmonies didn't appeal to me. But that is just me. I will say that the performers were very talented.
you wouldn't ever be able to enjoy a certain type of music if you don't understand what its about i meant to say if you don't know the language how would you be able to fully appreciate it? there are 2 different languages in this song.
oh dont worry man, not everyone have like every kind of music.. If someone's judging you for that, just stop the conversation right there.. but for this kind of music, I will suggest you to go to somewhere peaceful and quiet in night, close your eyes, relax and listen but dont try to understand, your heart will let you know whats happening.. you cant harsh with these classical music, you need to be calm and in the end you'll feel happy.
