The song was released n inspired after the scandals they went thru, by that people judged them, hate them to the core, bashed the shit of their life, but thru Alive album they came back stronger than ever, which is rarely fr a kpop group to survive after going thru scandal. Their song, Fantastic Baby (Also in this album) is stil the most downloaded song in Kpop history, even surpassed 1D's Whats Makes You Beautiful. Bigbang is called King of Kpop not fr nothing.

Monster is dedicated to the fans who left them and turned on them after GD's marijuana and Daesung's car accident scandal. 🙁 they nearly disbanded back then. They later on said that those moments made them closer. Btw, WELCOME TO THE VIP FAMILY 😊💕

This song means so much to us V.I.P.s who stayed with them after their scandals, Daesung's car accident, he and a taxi driver actually had the accident because their was a motorcyclist that had already been in an accident and was already dead by the time Daesung had ran over him trying to avoid the taxi in front of him that had tried to avoid the motercyclist. He was so distraught about the whole thing thinking he was the one who actually killed the man. He even attended the funeral. The media and a lot of people were saying it was all his fault and that he was a monster and a murderer. Big Bang had lost a lot of fans from that scandal. He was so upset he didn't go to any Big Bang shows or promotions at the time. He stayed in his dorm, he couldnt eat, drink, or sleep. He felt like he couldn't face his parents and started thinking drastic thoughts, he felt so bad and was so depressed.There is actually a healing camp video of Baesung and G Dragon talking about their scandals and how they felt when it happened. Daesung felt like he didn't deserve to do what he loves and that the people were right about him being a monster, he was so depressed at that time.. But things started looking up when they ruled that he wasn't responsible for what had happened, that the guy had been drunk and had already been dead before Daesung had hit him.. Still a lot of people were saying a lot of bad things about Big Bang. This song was made for the V.I.P.s that stayed by them through everything. Daesung still to this day has trouble getting over the fact that, that situation even happened. He is not a monster, everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect. G Dragon is such a good leader for their group, he feels the pain for each of them when they go through these things. You can just see how they care for each other, they are real brothers and help take care of each other. This is what it means to be a V.I.P. and I'm so glad that they have each other and I hope we can help ease the pain when they go through these things. Sometimes when the news blows these stories about these idols out of proportion they do it to hide what is going on in the political world like with Park Bom from 2NE1 on her meds for anxiety. It's ridiculous! They keep trying to dethrone Big Bang but they keep coming back. Forever V.I.P.

This was the song that made me fall in love with BigBang really. I remember how amazed I was by the song and video. For days I listened to it on repeat (at a point my younger brother pleaded with me to stop lol). It made me go back to Fantastic Baby and Bang Bang Bang. I truly believe they've earned the Kings of Kpop title. To have had such a song, so many years ago is just amazing. TOP's voice is one of my favorite things ever. Great reaction video. I'm going into a bit of EXO withdrawal though, hope you do something soon. There's also a new song and video from Chanyeol and Sehun of EXO coming out on friday. It's called 'We Young'. At a recent concert the song was debuted and its sooooo good, but we get a music video too. It's a very chill song and I love it. I hope you check it out when it's released on Friday. calling them monsters made them suffer all these years Daesung suffered from depression and isolation until now GD is suffering from anxiety troubles , major depression and can't trust poeple anymore that makes him lose so much wieght and collaps on stage a lot , gd faced a limb amputation and suicide petition guys for nothing he was only 20 years old can u imagine how awfull is that guys! seungri isolated himself and suffered after his sex scandal top suffered a lot that he tried to commit suicide , u know what is suicide! it's so serious this world is so mean for guys who want only to enjoy their life , as a fan i will never forgive those poeple who made bigbang suffer , mental illness is a serious thing and the fact we could lost top makes me cry .

this is such a sad song and you know why , i can't believe many poeple still associate bigbang with the (monster) image , i mean the bad boys image media created around them , they are so nice and beautiful human beings , some poeple keep saying they are problematics and did mistakes but since when having sex , smooking and dating beautiful models are mistakes ! they are enjoying their lives like i do and everyone else does , but it's not their fault if any rebellious act and initiative to changes and revolution is viewed as bad and that's the case of bigbang , when gd debuted he was the first ever idol to compose and produce for his group , everyone mocked it and said it's gonna flop but look at allll those groups now who compose and produce their songs followin bigbang steps (the funny thing is when their fans and some biased media outlets start saying it's a certain groups who started it discrediting bigbang lol), Bigbang are not monsters and not angels as well but they are true artists.
