So this song is called paralyzed because she had a problem with her salivary gland. She had to have an operation to remove the gland and it left her vocally paralysed. She had to go through intense speech therapy to learn how to speak and sing again. So this is what she means by all of my plans have been silenced overnight!

Self awareness to her of how hard it was to be able to sing again at a level she has maintained throughout her journey /life and we all should step back and rewind stealing a line from the song, it also was very brave of delta to show her very vulnerable side of herself to us as she struggled for a year to get her where she is today, we forget that delta is a person who has everything i/e voice money good looks ect ect but if you have a wee look at her video to explain her song you can see someone who is vulnerable scared about if she can come back as strong as she has because she worked her ass of to get there and more so well done delta you have won the fight.
