The blue monster signifies his grief and sadness - it's always there in the background even when others can't see it. Sometimes, it's all he can see/feel. When we see other people's monsters in the video, they looked different than Ed's because everyone experiences and handles grief/sadness/anxiety etc differently. Lovely reaction! 💙
This feels very sad & raw. Losing a friend at a relatively young age just feels different. The line "nothing has changed except now you're gone.. and life just goes on" is the toughest part. People die all the time, and literally nobody cares except the people who knew them. The overwhelming realization that life doesn't stop, not for a second, but just goes on - it hits hard. This song captures that feeling perfectly. This mv made me very emotional. Beautiful song, TY for reacting.
