“He’s on a building! He’s up!” With that smile may she the cutest thing I’ve seen today😂😂😂 On a serious not, you are both so genuine, eloquent and very thoughtful in your reactions. Love how you put your thoughts into words!
This was a great reaction! I loved the original, but Ronnie really made this his own. And he managed to make "Can't go on living this way" feel hopeful, which I didn't get at all in the original.
Back in the day when this version came out, I read a comment that says something like "the original song goes throu depression with anger. This version goes throu it with sadness and a little bit of hope" And, as a guy with Anxious depressive syndrome, I could not agree more. Both songs are AMAZING but this one hits reaaaally harder, almost 25 years later (I'm 30)
I think that's the difference between raging against depression and choosing to accept it and find your way through instead. Maybe a better option, I wouldn't know! I hope you will be victorious in your mental battles! /Andrei
Oh my, you are truly amazing of interpreting the songs. And George, we are so on the same level of music we like, i totally felt your reaction. The second time i played it, i got all teared up. I did knew the original before and it's a great song actually. I was never aware of the lyrics though, until this version. Again an awesome reaction. I actually hope Ronnie will get to see it. I like him a lot and also can't understand why people dwell in the past.
Thank you so much Yvonne! I'm glad you enjoyed our interpretation! If Ronnie got to see any of our FiR reactions that'd be a huge fangirl moment for me! /Andrei
@thewindmillfullovcorpses I was already trying to find him the other day so I could send the link, but It's not easy 😅. I totally understand your feeling 😅. I'll bet he would like it
One of the best re-imagined verses of an song. After tgus my respect for Ronnie git even bagger. What a great musician. You should watch where he shows his veraion to the singer of Papa Roach....it's awesone. Thanks guys🤘🏽🔥
Never seen U so quiet , and paralyzed by a FIR song . Awesome reaction . Hope U will react to Watch The World Burn Live next ( By Caliber TV ) One off the best live performances , I have ever seen by any band .
I am impressed that you really found the deepness of this video. Do you two speed talk a lot?😄 I liked and subscribed. Looking forward to more reactions. Do you take recommendations? Dan Vasc, Burn Butcher Burn, gotta hold on to you seat.
Thank you for watching. We just do the intro and outro on fast forward and it's fun but sometimes it's also a problem! We take recommendations in comments but there's a LOT of them so there's no guarantee we'll get to do yours! Don't be a stranger! /Andrei
Damn it's too bad you guys haven't heard the original. After hearing that one, this one feels so much more real. I wish you guys would have listened to that one first. The experience would have been better imo. But yeah I agree this one is my favorite one BY FAR of his reimagined ones. HE CAN DO ANYTHING lol
Time and energy limitations make it difficult to do it like that sometimes. We just wanted to churn in as many reactions as we could. Seeing it after Watch The World Burn was honestly striking enough for me! /Andrei
Well done, mates! A very inspired reaction to a "no headbang" quality song. If you want to go back to the headbang mode, I suggest this track from Igorrr (French avant-garde project) that I personaly like a lot... but maybe it's just me. ;-) "Igorrr - Himalaya Massive Ritual Recording"
I think Ronnie gives the text the right, worthy framework. The Papa Roach version is too rocky for the seriousness of the lyrics. That's exactly what Ronnie conveys in this song, the pain and the fight with and against evil thoughts. Surely only people who have psychological problems and fight their demons every day can understand this. How often her mental world collapses and threatens to bury her. How many times do you think, “I can’t go on like this” and fight your way out, only to find again and again, “Nothing is okay.” But you keep fighting, every day. They fight with all their strength against being buried under their collapsing world. The sad thing is that too many people lose this battle, ultimately running out of strength and being buried under their collapsing world.
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses Well wassup George! I thought you was calling me George!! My name is Laura. Just started watching y'all so not positive on the names, my bad
